A great experience of MBA life at KSRM.

Placements: The batch comprises 60 students with diverse backgrounds, including agriculture, engineering, fisheries, and commerce. KSRM boasts a 100% placement record. Top recruiting companies include BFIL, Annapurna Microfinance, ITC, Pradan, NDDB, and AMUL. Microfinance roles offered are division manager and area manager, while development sector roles include assistant project manager and project coordinator. The highest package this year is around 10 LPA, the lowest is 4.6 LPA, and the average is 6.5 LPA. Each student completes three internships during the two-year course.

Infrastructure: The campus features excellent infrastructure with Wi-Fi connectivity throughout. Hostel facilities are commendable, offering options for both AC and non-AC rooms for two occupants. The mess provides hygienic and quality food, and a cafeteria is available on campus. Washing machine facilities are also provided in the hostels.

Faculty: The course curriculum is rigorous, complemented by internships to prepare students for the industry. The two-year program consists of four semesters, each with four mid-semester exams and four end-semester exams. Various evaluation methods include class participation, PowerPoint presentations, and class tests.

Infrastructure: At the KSRM hostel, MBA graduates enjoy double-occupancy rooms with ample lighting and ventilation throughout the day, coupled with 24-hour Wi-Fi service. My room receives abundant sunlight, providing a refreshing start every morning. The mess offers unparalleled food, catering to diverse tastes from different states across India. Additionally, special menus are arranged for various occasions and festivals, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Faculty: KSRM takes pride in its outstanding team of faculty members, who serve not only as educators but also as mentors and guides for young professionals. Placements: MBA Agribusiness Management is a residential program spanning four semesters, encompassing various components like field segments, live projects, and summer internships. The batch strength is around 78 students, including foreign students. 100% of the students get opportunities for the summer internship program. Top recruiting companies include UPL, Bayer, Adani, Crystal, Nuziveedu Seeds, VNR, PAN Seeds, HDFC, ICICI, Bandhan Bank, and some microfinance companies. For SIP, the projects are mainly related to market research, digital marketing, agri-input sales, procurement, and the supply chain. Every individual gets placed, as 100% placement is guaranteed and achieved each year.

Infrastructure: KIIT is renowned for its lush greenery. The library, equipped with a variety of books necessary for the management course, is a notable feature. Wi-Fi is available in both the campus and hostel, with AC classrooms, a canteen offering a variety of snacks, a gym, and a swimming pool for extracurricular activities. The hostel, which is non-AC by default, provides an option for those who prefer AC. Furnished rooms with chairs and tables and shared common washrooms are provided. The college's committed mess allows students to suggest menu changes, with food selections typically rotating every 3–4 months for a delightful dining experience.

Faculty: The MBA (ABM) program, a fully residential course spanning four semesters, includes various internship components such as field segments, live projects, and a summer internship program. Through this learning process, students can identify gaps found during internships and implement their classroom learning into hands-on field experience.

Other: I chose the MBA in Agribusiness Management as I did my graduation in agriculture and was fascinated by working in the corporate world. Additionally, I did not want to pursue a Masters in research. Opting for an MBA in ABM allowed me to explore different sectors based on my areas of interest.

Placements: The college ensures 100% placements and internship opportunities for its students. The highest package offered so far is 8.8LPA, while the average package stands at an impressive 5.5LPA. Various roles are available, including Sales, Market Research, Digital Marketing, Supply chain and Procurement, CRM, and Financial roles. The college has tie-ups with companies from different sectors such as FMCG (Adani Wilmar, Amul, NDDB, Nestle, Bisk Farm, Reliance Retail), Agri-Input (Bayer, UPL, Adama, VN, Pan Seeds, Crystal Crop Protection, Zydex), Banking and Microfinance (BFIL, Annarpurna, Avanti Finance, HDFC, ICICI Securities, Bandhan Bank), and Agritech and Supply chain (Dehaat, Big Basket, Vegrow). The curriculum is designed to help students identify their areas of interest, and they receive placement training through KIIT Kareer School, which includes online aptitude and psychometric tests, as well as GD and PI sessions.

Infrastructure: Every student is required to stay in the hostel as part of the residential program. During my stay, I was assigned a double occupancy room that, although lacking air conditioning, provided a comfortable and roomy environment. Despite its modest size, the room was equipped with essential amenities such as a cupboard and study table. The shared washrooms were conveniently located, and Wi-Fi access was available on each floor. In my experience, the food here is comparatively better, with four meals provided. The classrooms are spacious and well-equipped with digital boards and AC. The campus itself is beautiful and lush, with each campus having its own cafeteria and top-notch sports facilities.

Faculty: Our faculty stands out due to their distinguished academic backgrounds, as many of them are alumni of prestigious institutions such as IIMs, IRMA, and IIT. Not only are our teachers knowledgeable, but they also make sure to stay updated with industry trends, ensuring that our education remains relevant and cutting-edge. Additionally, they frequently enhance the learning experience by inviting industry experts to deliver guest lectures. Moreover, our faculty provides comprehensive guidance on an individual basis. The course curriculum combines general MBA subjects with specialized areas like supply chain, agri input marketing, and agri finance. It emphasizes class participation, case studies, and practical assignments. From the first semester onwards, students receive placement training, including group discussion sessions.

Placements: The batch of 2105 has secured placements in various organizations such as PRADAN, SRIJAN, AMUL, Nestled, BFIL, NDDB, Annapurna Finance, HDFC bank, and more. Students have been assigned managerial positions, and the college has witnessed the highest package of 11 Lacs.

Infrastructure: All the classrooms have ACs, are well ventilated, and are also smart classrooms. The library has many relevant books and journals. Also has access to online research papers and journals. Spacious and comfortable hostel rooms have been provided to students, along with nutritious food on a daily basis.

Faculty: The teachers are very qualified and have a lot of field experience. All of them hold Ph.D.s and are passionate about teaching. They have also passed out from prestigious colleges like IIM, IRMA, etc. The curriculum is such that it provides the right foundation for the student and makes them industry-ready. The exam generally pushes the student to analyze and write over traditional memorization and writing.

Other: I chose this course because I am passionate about the sector; a structured course from a college like KSRM would really help me. The college also has a vibrant culture and many events, which bring the students closer than before. There are also many clubs and committees in the college, such as the newsletter committee, alumni committee, cultural club, etc., which would help the student grow in a holistic manner. It would also help them improve their leadership skills, their ability to work in a team, and their soft skills.
