College life at Somaiya University.

Placements: During my time, the placement percentage was around 70-80%. The lowest package was ₹5,00,000 and the highest was ₹17,00,000. Offers for roles were available in different departments like finance, marketing, etc. Various big companies participated.

Infrastructure: I wasn't in the hostel, but some of my friends were. The Wi-Fi speed was okay, classrooms were good, and the library was very big. The food in the canteen was good and at a cheap rate. Medical facilities were also available, and they had different courts and grounds for sports.

Faculty: The teaching experience of the professors was very good; they were fully knowledgeable about everything. They also used technology to teach students. Semester exams were a bit difficult for students, with a passing percentage of 35%. In exams, you had to score more than the passing marks, and the total of internals and externals should be 30 to pass.

Huge campus, good infrastructure, sports facilities, nice faculty and improvised teaching methods.

Placements: About 40% of students were placed in my course. The highest package was about 12 LPA, the lowest package was 3 LPA and the average package was 5 LPA. Data analysts, data scientists, and statisticians are the top roles offered in our course. 70% of students got internships from our courses.

Infrastructure: Classrooms & labs are quite neat & clean. The library is totally digitalized. There are 4 canteens available on campus. There is a separate building for the sports complex. Track & field are also present. Hostels are quite luxurious. There are plenty of classrooms available for students to take a break from free lectures.

Faculty: Teaching quality is top-notch, and every teacher is NET- or SET-qualified. The course curriculum is relevant to the current job market. Semester exams are quite challenging and up-to-date. The passing percentage is up to 70%. Semester exams can be cracked if you are regular for lectures.

Other: I have a passion for Maths & Statistics helped me to take this passion on a job market level. This course is kind of subjective in the starting seems which can be avoided. Events & fests are organized on a regular basis due to which students have a chance to develop their soft skills.

Campus is great. Faculty is rude but qualified and knowledgeable. Placements are fine .

Placements: 1.60% of students are placed. 2. The highest package is 13 LPA; the average is 10 LPA, and the lowest is 7 LPA. 3. Morgan Stanley, CPMG, India Infoline, OCS India Pvt Ltd, etc. are the top recruiters. 4. I guess around 15-20% of students got internships in Deloitte, Mindspace, Morgan Stanley, etc. 5. Accountant, account executive, business executive, etc. are the top roles offered.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are okay; the library is great. There are a number of labs that are air conditioned and also a seminar hall (air conditioned). The food is great in all the canteens; we also have hospital and we have a lot of sports and games and also a swimming pool .

Faculty: The teaching quality is good and the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but rude sometimes. The curriculum is relevant and it does make students industry-ready. 60% is the pass percentage and the difficulty level is moderate and also not so stressful .

Other: We have a lot of events on our campus and they are fun.

Very good teaching faculty in 2023.

Placements: Placements are given at companies like Accenture and many more. The highest package offered is somewhere between INR 3 Lacs and INR 5 Lacs per annum. Also, internships are available and are made compulsory for all last-year students at companies like Vanilla Kart and many more.

Infrastructure: Overall, KJ Science and Commerce has an average infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available for all students but has some issues with connection. Labs are well maintained with good-quality lab instruments, although they may not be functional at all times. Gymkhana is great, and mess has a great variety of foods available.

Faculty: The teaching faculty is one of the biggest positives of the college; the teachers are always supportive, and almost all of them have a Masters degree in their respective fields. Even though the staff is great, the curriculum feels a bit outdated and can be improved. Semester exams are tough, with 40% required to pass.

Placements: B.Sc. geology students have a lower percentage on this side. On this side, students have a maximum of 50% above students. Geologist student work on their side, not a company. This college gives you how to deal with the world. This college provides you with a particular course.

Infrastructure: KJ Somaiya College's building structure is excellent. This college's facilities are too much good. All facilities are here in this college. I'm not a hostel student, but my friends are in the hostel. They are talking about our hostel being good.

Faculty: These college teachers are helpful, and also they talk about plans and work affairs knowledge. This college curriculum activities are suitable. These college exams are the basis of their subject, but college teachers teach well. This college teacher is good.

Other: This course is good. Because we also study geography in 1st standard to 12th standard that's why we clear easily in this course. This course is all about our earth especially. We know about geography in our school life, which is why this course is excellent.

Good facilities, teaching staff, and campus.

Placements: For my course, there were over 30 students. Top recruiting companies are JSW, RS, Slumberjer, GSI. Around eight students got selected from M.Sc. batch last year in JSW with annual package of 5 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: Facilities like labs, Wi-Fi, and classrooms are excellent and well maintained. The hostel fees is a little expensive for a student coming from middle class background. The food is excellent in the mess and canteen within the college premise.

Faculty: The teaching and non teaching staff is quite good and friendly. They give us reference books to study for exams, the paper pattern and exam paper is very easy and the correction is also slight lenient. The teachers will help you out to resolve all your problems.

Other: I chose this course because I was really interested in social studies. Fests and events are organized in November and December.
