The good and worst journey of my btech at KKCEM in 2024
Placements: Nearly 20% are placed in a company called Skypro technologies. The company conducted an online interview and many of us were selected but majority of us rejected the offer because of low income. Only one company that is Skypro technologies came to our college for placements. The role offered was technician.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very excellent but not the faculties. The professors of our branch were changed in every semester. Sometimes in between the semesters and things got even worse when new teachers are bad in teaching as compared to previous teachers.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful but many are not qualified or knowledgeable. The course curriculum was better but we didn't got much lab classes to assure the technical knowledge. We also were provided with good libraries and labs but none of them was used properly by our faculties.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in software development and the current market. Our college was very good at organizing events and concerts, that was the thing I enjoyed a lot during my course duration.

Our college is average for students.
Placements: Salary packages were high but there were no recruiting companies that visited our campus for recruitment. There were many students who got internships. Top roles were good.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities were good in this college. Facilities and infrastructure were better. The food served in the canteen was good. Sports and games were also available.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful and well-qualified. All semester exams were tough and the pass percentage was 6.6 CGPA.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. Events, fests, etc., were conducted in this college.

The faculty and the campus is really good, but the placements are not good. Only few get placed.
Placements: I got admission in 2023, after which I interacted with many seniors and talked about placements, and according to them, the placements are not good. Some small companies come and hire a few good students, but the packages are very decent. Till now, the highest package offered is 7LPA only and the average is 2-2.5 LPA. The biggest problem is that all the students are not getting placement offers.
Infrastructure: I think this is the best part of our college. The campus is very good having a green garden and a play ground along with an auditorium which is also big having AC, labs and classrooms available. The classrooms are not extraordinary, they’re simple like that of our school’s. Sports and games are also played in our college, recently, they organized a sports tournament.
Faculty: The teachers are really good and supportive. They teach frankly and the students can also interact with the teachers easily. But, the worst part is that they all are not highly educated with some of them being okay. Labs and workshops are also available in the college. Semester examinations are held by JUT (Jharkhand University of technology) in every 6 months. Exams are a little tough, you can pass easily but they’re hard to score good.
Other: I chose CSE because firstly I am interested in computers and secondly it is very demanding along with a good salary offered post this course. I think the college should focus on placements and internships which is the biggest drawback of our college. Events and fest are also held in our college, two big stars came last year in our college, Stebin and Darshan Raval.

This college provides good environment and infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 90% of students were placed every year. Companies like Ashok Layland, L&T Construction, etc., visit our college every year to hire students. The average salary pacakge offered was 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college was very good. It provides a library facility, a boys and girls hostel, a big playground, etc. It also provides a bank facility in our college. For practical, they have laboratories for respective subjects. A canteen facility was also available. The medical facility was also available in this college.
Faculty: Teachers were very qualified. Almost all the teachers were Ph.D. holders. They were very helpful and down-to-earth. They always start from basics. The semester exams were moderate level. Students who follow teachers can easily pass the exams.
Other: I opted for this course, because I like car designs very much. The best thing about mechanical was the number of jobs in the government sector was very high.

Overall it is a good college to pursue degree.
Placements: Very less percentage of students get placed from the college as compared to other high rated colleges. Only a few companies visit the campus for placement purpose, and even they lack good salary packages as good as compare to other engineering colleges. The salary offered by companies varies from Rs. 10,000 per month - Rs. 15,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility and overall infrastructure of the college is very good and adorable. There are many buildings in different departments as per the requirements. The food served in the mess is good, and hostel facilities are student-friendly. Overall the campus environment is very cheerful.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college and their teaching style is good. The course curriculum is good as they use case studies, role-play presentations, quizzes on a weekly basis and get an assignment on the topic covered. The marking is based on all these evaluation techniques of the course.

I wrote everything I experienced in this college.
Placements: Minimum 55 percent is needed for this course. The minimum package offered for a student is 200,000 rupees, and the maximum offers got only 5 students, with 960,000 being the highest. Companies like Bajaj, Tata Motors, Infosys, Daikin, and more visit for hiring. Sixty percent of students got internships.
Infrastructure: They have Wi-Fi, but they don't let students use it; it is only for teachers and others. The network of the college is too weak to run any types of web searching, but in the library, the network is pretty strong, and web searching is faster than in any other place.
Faculty: At first, teachers were supportive, but slowly every good teacher left for other colleges. Semester exams are always held outside of the college, but they take two midterm exams every semester, which helps us improve for the semester exams. Thirty-three percent is the passing mark.
