Candidates will have to log in using the required credentials to access the JEECE seat allotment 2024 result. Qualified candidates have to participate in the JEECE counselling 2024 for admission into the participating institutes. During the JEECE 2024 counselling process, the candidates will be allotted as per their JEE Main scores, preferences and seat availability. Three rounds of JEECE counselling 2024 are being held. It is to be noted that JEECE 2024 admissions to the offered BTech courses will be done based on JEE Main scores. Read to know more about JEECE 2024.

Q:   What is the eligibility criteria of JEECE?

A:

Before JEECE registration, the candidates are advised to check the official eligibility criteria for the admission process. All candidates should be permanent residents of the state and should have passed 12th standard (or equivalent) examination from a recognised board. For JEECE admission, the candidates will require a valid JEE Main score and should have secured minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in their 12th standard qualifying examination from a recognised board. The candidates should have studied Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects as well as Chemistry or Biology as optional subjects. Ineligible candidates will not be considered for admission.

Q:   When will JEECE 2024 application form be available?

A:

JEECE 2024 application form process for Round 3 will be open from August 13, 2024. Candidates can access the JEECE application form 2024 online at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. No other mode of application will be accepted. To participate in the admission process, the candidates will have to fill out the required details and submit the JEECE application form before the final date.

Q:   Will JEECE 2024 be held?

A:

The authorities will not conduct any entrance exam for admissions through JEECE 2024. Candidates will be selected for admissions based on their JEE Main scores. The online JEECE 2024 application form will be released to let the candidates register for the admission process. To participate in the admission process, the candidates will have to fill out and submit the JEECE application form before the final date.

What is JEECE?

Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination (JEECE) is conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) to offer admission to candidates in undergraduate engineering degree courses offered in the state of Jharkhand. However, no entrance exam is held and admission to the BTech courses is offered based on their rank in JEE Main.

JEECE 2024 Counselling

Eligible candidates can participate in the JEECE 2024 counselling for admission into the BTech courses offered by the participating institutes. During the JEECE counselling process, the candidates will have to select their choice of course and college in the order of preference. For every round of JEECE counselling 2024, fresh registrations will be accepted. 

Q:   Will JEE Main scorecard be required for JEECE counselling?

A:

Yes. Since the admissions done through JEECE counselling will be based on the JEE Main scores, the candidates will be required to submit the scorecard. After allotment, the selected candidates will have to report to their respective institute and submit their documents for verification. Amongst the documents, the JEE Main scorecard should also be present. If the candidates are unable to submit all documents before the final date, then their allotment will be cancelled.

Q:   What is the JEECE counselling fee?

A:

While registering for the JEECE counselling process, the candidates will have to pay the required fee. For the General/EWS/BC-I/BC-II category candidates, the JEECE counselling fee is INR 400. However, for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/female candidates of all categories, the counselling fee is INR 250. The counselling fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted.

Q:   Will JEECE seat allotment result be announced online?

A:

Yes. The authorities will release the JEECE seat allotment result online. After logging in using the required credentials, the candidates will be able to access their provisonal allotment letter. Separate JEECE seat allotment results will be declared for different rounds. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's JEE Main score, preferences and seat availability.

JEECE 2024 Application Form

During the JEECE 2024 application form process, the candidates will have to fill out the required personal, academic and contact details. Candidates also have to upload their scanned documents as per the official specifications. The application fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. 

JEECE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before JEECE 2024 registration, the candidates are advised to check the official eligibility criteria. Candidates who do not fulfil any of the below-mentioned JEECE eligibility criteria will be disqualified for admission during counselling. The eligibility criteria for JEECE 2024 are as follows:

Criteria 1– Educational Qualification

Candidates are eligible to apply for JEECE 2024 if they:

  • Have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognised board.
  • Have studied Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects as well as Chemistry or Biology as optional subjects.
  • Have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% in their qualifying exam if they are from the general category. However, reserved category candidates have to secure a minimum aggregate of 40%.
  • Should have a valid JEE Main score.

Criteria II – State of Residence

Candidates should be permanent residents of Jharkhand to be eligible to appear for admission.

Q:   Which details have to be filled out in the JEECE application form?

A:

While filling out the JEECE application form, the candidates will have provide the important details related to their personal, academic and contact information. Some of the important information, that the candidates will have to provide are - name, gender, date of birth, category, educational qualification, email ID, mobile number, communication address, etc. All details have to be valid and as per the documents possessed by the candidates.

Q:   How can I register for JEECE?

A:

All candidates will have to fill out and submit the JEECE application form to participate in the counselling and admission process. For JEECE registration, the candidates will have to visit the official website at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in and click on the registration link. The basic details of the candidates i.e., name, gender, category, email address, mobile number and more have to be submitted for registration. The application form ID will be generated after the JEECE registration process is over.

Q:   Will the JEECE application form be available offline?

A:

No. JEECE application form will not be available offline. The candidates will be able to access the JEECE application form online at the official website. Candidates will have to register and fill out their personal, academic and contact details. The required documents also have to be uploaded as per the specifications. The authorities will accept only online mode of payment of the application fee.

JEECE 2024 Result/Merit List

The authorities have released the JEECE 2024 result in the form of a state merit list for Round 2. The list of candidates who are eligible to register for the counselling process is available through the state merit list of JEECE 2024. The authorities prepare the merit list based on the JEE Main scores obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam. No other mode will be used to release the JEECE result 2024/state merit list.

Q:   How can I check the JEECE merit list?

A:

Candidates will be able to check the JEECE merit list online at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. To access the merit list, the candidates will have to login using the required credentials. Once the merit list is displayed on the screen, the candidates are advised to check the details carefully for any mistakes. The authorities will use no other mode to release the merit list of JEECE.

However, it is to be noted that the authorities will not accept requests to review the allotted merit rank.

JEECE 2024 Syllabus

Not applicable since JEECE 2024 will not be held and admissions will be done based on JEE Main scores.

JEECE 2024 syllabus will be made available online for all candidates who are attempting BTech Dairy Technology and Agricultural Engineering. Using the syllabus, the candidates will be able to prepare for the entrance examination. The JEECE syllabus 2024 will consist of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Q:   Which subjects have to be studied for JEECE?

A:

As per the official JEECE syllabus, the candidates will have to study various topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. All of the units mentioned in the syllabus should be carefully prepared by the candidates to have a higher chance of performing well in the entrance examination. The level of JEECE syllabus will be similar to the 12th standard (or equivalent) qualifying examination.

JEECE 2024 Exam Pattern

The authorities will release the JEECE exam pattern 2024 online. Details regarding the exam mode, duration, timings, type of questions, marking scheme and more will be released through the JEECE exam pattern. Candidates are advised to check the exam pattern to boost their preparation and raise their knowledge about how the exam will be conducted. 

Q:   What is the marking scheme of JEECE?

A:

The official marking scheme is released through the JEECE exam pattern. For every correct answer, one mark will be allotted to the candidates. However, for every incorrect answer, the authorities will deduct 0.25 marks. Since there is negative marking, the candidates are advised to be careful while choosing their questions to answer. Candidates should choose to attempt only those questions that they are sure about.

Q:   What is the duration of JEECE?

A:

As per the official JEECE exam pattern, the total duration of the entrance examination is 3 hours. During the allotted duration, the candidates will have to attempt 150 objective multiple-choice questions. No extra time will be provided to the candidates to complete the entrance examination. Therefore, the candidates are advised to practice and boost their time management skills so that they can complete the examination within the allotted duration.

JEECE paper will consist of objective multiple-choice questions. For each question, there will be four options provided in the paper.   • Firstly, the candidates should know the official JEECE exam pattern and syllabus before they start their preparation process. This will enable the candidates to know and strategize their schedule for the examination. 
  • Next, a personalized timetable has to be created by the candidates. All of the syllabus has to be evenly distributed in the timetable to ensure that the candidates finish it before the exam.

Q:   Which documents have to be presented at the centre with the JEECE admit card?

A:

While reporting at the exam centre, the candidates will have to present their JEECE admit card. Along with the admit card, the candidates will also have to bring along their original identity proof. Any one of the following documents can be presented as the identity proof - Aadhaar card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, any Government approved ID. If the candidates are unable to bring their JEECE admit card and identity proof to the centre, then they will not be allowed to attempt the exam.
