A review about my college .

Placements: 30 percent students are placed in my college. The highest package was 7.5 LPA, the lowest package was 1.1 LPA. Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini etc were the top recruiting companies. None of the students got internship. The roles usually offered in my course are associate software engineer, full sack developer etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, for each department smart classroom is available. Talking about the library especially for our department that is computer Science and engineering, we have separate department library as well as general library. In library also we have 2 different sections, one for boys and other for girls.

Faculty: Faculty is really good and helpful. They assign mentors to group of 7 to 8 students. Our curriculum is new and it is relevant. I would not say 100 percent it makes the students industry ready but atleast we gain some knowledge.

Other: I chose this course that is B.E in computer Science because of my interest towards it.

Really good infrastructure and facilities, good placements for CS Engineering and Mechanical.

Placements: We got around 300 placements for CS engineering Students. The least number of placements were for Civil Engineering. The highest package offered was around 60 Lacs while the lowest was 15 Lacs. Few top companies that recruited us were Infosys, Accenture etc.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi connection of 300 Mbps speed. Got cool drinking water. Restrooms could be more clean w mirrors perhaps. The classrooms are well lit with Sufficient number of fans and appropriate ventilation. The food in the canteen is really good and hygiene.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful. Some qualified some not. Some knowledgeable. Some not. But majority of them are good enough to help us understand. But there are unnecessary subjects during the first two years that has no relevancy to our career. This time could be used in studying various programming languages.

KLS VDIT COLLEGE HALIYAL

Placements: The placement is not so good or bad it is decent . The companies are Infosys, Wipro etc but it has a decent package of around average of 5 LPA. The best is to complete the course and try outside, it gives the best opportunity better than college placement.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good , sports is not in that level to play, ground is too small but labs are best. All computers have minimum 16 gb RAM and at latest i5 12gen processor. Labs are best disciplined . Internet connectivity is there if the subject have use of internet.

Faculty: Teacher's teaching is best. If you don't understand, you can ask teachers will definitely help. All class rooms have projectors to teach. We have 2 internal and final exam, internal exams has 1 and half month gap between them. The question paper is from VTU but invigilator will be strict.

Other: Bus fee is high as it is outside the city and in a town. The buses are from Dharwad, Hubli, Belgaum and Dandeli. They take 15k per year, it is good as all these are 45-50 km away but buses are so full that 7-10 students stand in bus not in one but in all buses. So giving 15k and standing so long is not good.

A very good college with all the facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: 70-80% of the students are placed every year through placement. The package offered varies from 3LPA - 8/9 LPA. Top companies such as TCS, Wipro, TATA, Accenture, Tch Mahindra, etc. recruit students. Tata provides us with the maximum number of internships.

Infrastructure: The college has plenty of fresh air and is surrounded by trees, making it a greener and healthier place to study. It also has all the amenities, such as Wi-Fi, a 24-hour library, and a separate classroom for each course. It also places a high value on students' extracurricular activities.

Faculty: The teachers assist the students in a friendly manner while also assisting them in growing more towards their respective courses and interests. the Teachers give their best to the students and make them industry ready. The exams are also competitive, with great subjects and great teachers, allowing students to gain all-around knowledge, and the passing percentage of students each year is 98%.

Other: I chose mechanical engineering because I was fascinated by machines, and I am grateful to the college for increasing my interest in the subject as well as my knowledge of everything. They also hold workshops to teach us how to work and how the machines work. The college holds numerous functions and places equal emphasis on extracurricular activities as well as academics. In addition, the college pays attention to nature and encourages students to love and care for it by holding nature camps.

This college is good but is far from our city.

Placements: Around 60 to 80% of students are placed. The highest salary pacakge offered is 3 LPA. The lowest salary pacakge offered is 1.5 LPA. The average salary pacakge offered ranges from 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. Infosys, Tata, CSS Crops, Accenture Cement, etc., visit to hire students. Around 50% of students get placed by Infosys, Tata, and other companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but it is out of the city that is a problem, but the laboratories and Wi-Fi are good. It also provides the classrooms and library. I am a day scholar so I do not know about hostel facilities. The games and sports are good but due to covid, the sports are stoped.

Faculty: The teaching quality is average, but some teachers are helpful as our EC HOD. The course curriculum is relevant, but not to qualify GATE exam. Semester exams are tough and the pass percentage is 21 marks per subject.

Other: I didn't choose the course but the course has chosen me because I wanted to go CS but unfortunately, I got E&C. Our course is tough as compared to other courses and students have to get more patience while studying this other than this is best when compared to other courses. I wish nothing because it is good first only. I heard from the senior that fest and other activities will be done, but due to covid all activities are stoped and only studies are going on.

Mainly, I'm talking about our college campus and hostel facilities.

Placements: Average placements are there, but they don't prepare students to crack the interview grounds. Only a few companies came to our college. Companies like Accenture and many start-up companies visit the college. Mainly, the EC branch students can get more opportunities in college to get placements.

Infrastructure: Mainly talking about the network section, only the BSNL network is available. The rest of the others like Airtel and Jio networks are good. In the hostel, there is a free Wi-Fi network for students. In our college, physics and chemistry labs are good, but computer labs for programming and CAED labs are not good. There is no good lab instructor. The library and classrooms are perfect.

Faculty: In my 1st year of engineering, some of the teachers are knowledgeable. When I came to the 2nd year of engineering, the programming teachers who taught Python, DSA, and PHP were not qualified and while teaching about programming, they also got confused and made us confused. This is the worst thing in my college.

Other: I came to this field only for good placements and well-qualified faculty. But after passing a year, I confirmly feel to leave the hope about the college placements.
