Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: I am a student of Konark institute of science and technology (kist) . There is very poor placement in your college; personally, I checked and R&D about our college placement but unfortunately, I didn't get any good placement record from the last 5-6 years . One who wants to join this college, please make sure that you have to go door to door for this and the college will not provide any good placement but over all, you can easily get a 10-15k salary job . But being an MBA graduate, it's not wort...

The college is value for money.

Placements: About 60% of students were placed from my course. The highest and average salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.20 LPA. The top recruiting companies here are Raybiztech, Jaro Education, etc. None of the students got internships from my course. The top role offered in my course is a software developer.

College has been nice but needs improvement in many ways, let it be labs activities or even sports.

Placements: Placement has been quite less, for the course placement was merely 15-20% with not a handsome package, averaging around 15-20k. Not much core companies came, some other stream companies were in campaign regarding IT and customer service. From the course there was no such internship programme.

Placements are not up to the mark, but faculty members are well-equipped with knowledge.

Placements: Placements of this college are below average from my point of view. Hardly 4-5 companies visited our college every year, and they have placed 5-10 students from every branch. They offer an annual package or 3-5 LPA. Generally, startup companies like Satyam, Hexaware, Think and Learn, LG, etc., visited our campus for placements.

A brief overview to kist-bbsr (bput-Odisha).

Placements: I passed out in 2014 and I was in electrical branch. Placement was not so good in that year especially in electrical branch. Rare students get placed in that year in my branch. It was not upto the mark for that particular year in the mentioned branch.

The present status of KIST college.

Placements: The placement facility is poor of Mechanical and Civil engineering student. Only Computer Science and Electrical engineering students placement take place. Out of 120 students only 15 students take placements. Same things for my senior batch. Only 10 percent students were placed. The highest package was Rs 25000 per month and the lowest one was Rs 12000 per month and the average package was Rs 15000. Till now various companies visited to the Campus those are LG, Wipro, Surya, acer, Philips, etc....

Current status of the Konark Institute of Science and Technology.

Placements: Till now, there are no placements for our batch, and there were very few placements in our senior batch. Out of this, the placement was offered only for computer science student. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 1,20,000 per annum and the highest salary was Rs. 3,00,000 per annum. The average salary was Rs. 1,80,000. In my college, the visiting companies were Wipro, IBM, Acer, LG, Surya, etc. Only 15% of the student got the internship from our college. There was no stipend given to the students...

This is not an engineering college.

Placements: There are no placements from this college. This college says that there are 100% placements from my college, but here in this college, only teachers get placed. There is 0% placement. 30% study environment is present due to some good faculty members. Management of this college is too bad. Labs are too outdated.

This college didn't give me what I need.

Placements: Placement isn't good here. There is also fake placement going on. Placement is only for software job and marketing, not for any electrical or mechanical engineer. Some of my friends returned from the workplace due to the bad placement. Placement department is not improvised.

My college life in 250 words.

Placements: The placements offered in my batch in the mechanical section and my senior batch was poor. In my senior batch only 10% of the students were placed, and in my batch the placement of 120 students only 5 students got placement. The salary offered is between 1.08 lacs per annum to 1.8 lacs per annum. The companies which visited the campus was never heared before. And the role which is offered in the campus drive is a call centre, Bpo, Kpo, Tech support, and sale representative type jobs were offered...

Terrible in placements, although, considerable in terms of infrastructure and knowledge to learn.

Placements: The college hardly has any placements. Our batch had 1 or 2 placements which were in a BPO and rest were fake. I myself was placed in a fake company through my college campus for which I waited for 6 long months and at last, it proved to be fake. I would suggest people do B.Tech here just for a certificate and never expect proper placements.

Not a place to be. Poor in every thing or just about okay. Infrastructure is the only thing.

Placements: For CSE, ETC and ELE it's good, but for mechanical, it's average. Just 3-4 good companies visit us. 3 lakh is the maximum package this year (think and learn). In a certain way, it's a BPO type of company. Till now 35-45 percent have been placed in the final year. The training and placement department needs to work but overall it provides just decent placement opportunities to the students studying here.

Good college. Best college if you compare the price. If you see other colleges, it’s a good college. But if you are searching for quality education, it's not your place. Overall it's fine to join here. The function and annual fest are the best part here.

Konark Institute of Science and Technology - the worst college to do B.Tech.

Placements: During my study period, placement was nil. Don't know about the current situation. Hope they are offering good placements nowadays. Otherwise, it's totally a waste of money. The package should be satisfactory as well.

Review of Konark Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).

Placements: Placements of our college are not good. A very few students got placed in previous years. Only 15% of the students got placed from our batch and our senior batch. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month, while the lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 18,000 per month. A number of small and big companies such as Acer, LG, Surya, Labournet, Karvy, etc., visited our college until now for placements. There is a training and placement cell on ...
