I had a memorable journey at Kokan Gyanpeeth.
Placements: Hardly 1 or 2% of students got placed. The package offered was around 15,000 per month. Many reputed companies conducted interviews at our college. The jobs are offered at the nearest ship port. I am still connected with some of my college mates who got placed on campus.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are well maintained, and all the classrooms are air-conditioned. The library is well-equipped. The computer lab is well maintained, and we are trained twice a week in the lab. There were blood donation camps organised every 6 months. All the students actively participated in it and donated blood.
Faculty: The teachers are well trained and experienced. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teachers also provided extra coaching to weak students. We were provided with extra study material whenever required. The course offered was relevant, and it helped a lot for my future endeavour.
Other: I chose B.A. from this college. We were taken for an adventure treck by the college faculty, which was very exciting and memorable to me. One thing I would like to improve in the college is that they should provide an in-house cafeteria for students.
