Koshys Institute of Health Sciences Hosts Convocation Ceremony
November 23, 2021: The Koshys Institute of Health Sciences recently hosted its graduation ceremony on campus. A total of 111 students obtained their diplomas, including 02 MSc students, 50 BSc students, and 59 GNM students.
For achieving top grades, three students received souvenirs. 02 students were given the best clinical excellence award, 01 was given the Good Samaritan award, 02 were given the best outgoing award, and 01 batch was given the best batch 2020-2021 award. Other academic achievements were also recognised with keepsakes. The graduation was organised in accordance with the Government of Karnataka's safety standards and processes. Dr Ramakrishna Reddy, Registrar, Evaluation at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS, Bangalore), and Prof. Somashekarayya Kalmath, Senate member, RGUHS, Bangalore, presented the degrees to the students. Dr Santhosh Koshy, Chairman of the Koshys Group of Institutions, and Dr Serena Shaji, Dean of the Koshys Group of Institutions
Dr Prakash B Nayak, Academic Director, KIMS, Dr Sara Kunnath, Academic Advisor, KIMS, Prof. Biji Joseph, Principal Bangalore Little Flower College of Nursing, under Koshys Group of Institutions, Bangalore, and Paul Anderson, CAO, Koshys Group of Institutions, Bangalore, were among the dignitaries present.
In his address, Dr Ramakrishna Reddy, Registrar, Evaluation at RGUHS, Bangalore congratulated the graduates on their degrees and remarked, "the importance of Nursing in the society & in the world, insisted that the knowledge and skills honed by this institute could make a difference in their career." The chief Guest explained to the students in detail the latest steps done for the welfare of the nursing students studying at RGUHS.
