Good faculty, not good at placements in 2020, better infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I am a 2023 passout of Kuriakose Elias College Mannanam in Bsc Psychology. My class consisted of 40 students. Psychology has few placement opportunities compared to other courses. Yet our college itself is famous for our department of psychology, as it is one of the oldest psychology department in this university
Infrastructure: The college offers good infrastructure for the course with good practical tools and equipment. Classrooms are good. The hostel is good at a fair rate. But wifi was not established when I was studying there, and centralized AC was also not established. Canteen is neat and good . Medical care units—I am not aware of that.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are qualified in the field with expertise. Faculties are so friendly and give so many insights and guide us in our academic as well as personal journey. They help in our career by providing better mentoring and training with certificate courses and workshops.
Other: I chose this course out of curiosity. Still going on with the same enthusiasm. For betterment, I could add some more practical exposure in this field along with theoretical knowledge.

Psychology - the strongest department of KE.
Placements: As I'm studying psychology, we do not have placement opportunities. But we do have a strong alumni association (PAAM), which helps us in acquiring great opportunities in internships and jobs not only in india, but also abroad. Many of our seniors work under our alumni. I guess that impeccable support is far better than any placement packages.
Infrastructure: Our classroom does have a projector and screens, but I guess that's very basic as per this time. Labs are pretty equipped with important apparatuses and a calm atmosphere to it. But this renowned department of KE College lack a classroom, first years and second years together got one classroom. But the department adjust to it pretty well, they schedule time table according so that they don't overlap between classes. Even if it does overlap, there are well-equipped labs to conduct classes. We have a pretty good library in college, but we have everything starting reference books to articles available in our mobile phones, so the usage of library for studying is comparatively low. There are two hostels available - Holy Family Hostel & Pope John Hostel, both with a rent of 4,500 as of now. Provides good food, comfortable stay, with time restriction 6:30 pm. I personally recommend Holy Family Hostel because of it's spacious buildings and less strict atmosphere.
Faculty: Teachers in our department are pretty helpful and supportive. They are all really friendly towards students, not that strict and all. Teachers use PPT presentations to take class, and clear any doubts regarding. In my opinion, our course curriculum is not that relevant. Curriculum is full of just theories, and the only practical we get is from the internship and other such visits. This curriculum doesn't make students industry ready. But the faculty members are trying hard to give us more exposure and practical knowledge. Semester exams are conducted by university, not the college. Technical they are not that hard. 24 is the pass mark for the written exam of 80 marks.
Other: I chose psychology because I aim to make the future generation life better by lessening the childhood trauma they will go through. I chose KE for psychology because they are one of the best under MG University for psychology. Department of Psychology is so far the best department of the college itself. I wish the course had more practical exposure. Otherwise, it is one of the best course available. This year the count of events had been a bit low, but it was amazing in the previous years and also will be in the future years. Campus surroundings are very homely and beautiful. There are plenty of space for friends to hang out, like Chavara Park, Stone Park, Butterfly Garden, Society, Canteen, etc. College have extracurricular activities like basketball, football, cricket, boxing, yoga, etc. A new gymnasium is also on the way. Active Clubs like Debate Club, Film Club, Music Club, Nature Club, etc. Are also available for students to join. Overall, KE is a beautiful experience for me.

A fairly good choice.
Placements: No placements were offered for the course of B.Sc. Psychology. Students are encouraged to find internships but only through their own volition and for the sake of minor projects. This is due to the fact that this degree requires a Master's degree to be eligible to hold positions.
Infrastructure: Our course has a fairly good lab, and the library is extensively stocked on various subjects. The classrooms are equipped with projectors. Only 2 girls' hostel services are offered by the college; the remaining students have to find rooms for rent and paying guests.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, but some are underqualified. The teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher. The current course curriculum that we follow is relevant, and it does make the students ready. The exams are conducted by the university where the pass percentage is 24.
Other: This course was chosen due to my interest in it. The course is very interesting and practically applicable. The issues I wish to improve in my course are that the teaching to be less dry and boring. Various events and fests are available brought by the students' union, which brings out a very good campus crowd. The campus grounds are nature-blended and clean. Various extracurricular activities are available, including student clubs, sports teams, NCC, and NSS.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The percentage of placements for our course is poor. The students were unaware about the placement cell or placement opportunities. But in other courses many have been placed. We were unaware of the companies, opportunities or internship options provided by the placement cell.
Infrastructure: The college provides an average lab and a well organised library. There is no Wi-Fi connection provided by the college while my time in the institute. There is a canteen provided with good quality food. The medical. Facilities is poor. The college promotes sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are average but qualified. Their teaching quality is okay. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are comparatively easier and the pass percentage is above average. The course curriculum for me was hectic but we got to achieve a lot of life skills.
Other: The college conducted a fest and the campus ambience is so beautiful and calm.

Good faculty members in psychology department.
Placements: Psychology at KE College is really a good opportunity in Kerala. But the course psychology does not have many placements after B.Sc. So KE College also doesn't have placement. The college doesn't offer internships. But we must do paid internships in our last year
.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are high-tech. The hostel's facilities and food were adequate. The library is okay. The quality of the facilities in my hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, and the sports were good. My college is famous for basketball. The college has two hostels.
Faculty: Our college is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University. The syllabus is okay. The 5/10 rank holders will be from our college in psychology. We also have a self-department of psychology. Both the aided and self-department of psychology were performing well in the curriculum.
Other: We have college unions, kaloslsavam, and cultural celebrations.

Good college to study and enjoy.
Placements: I don't know much about placements. But there are placements happening in our college. Some student's have been placed in some companies. Personally I am not interested to go for a job from placements by college so I usually don't enquire about them. So I'm not much aware about placements.
Infrastructure: Our college has very good facilities. The washrooms are clean and usable. There is mo Wi-Fi for students in college. The hostels available are very good. The food and facilities they provide are very good and the hostel fee is affordable. I have very good opinion about that.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and are very intelligent. They are very helpful to you in your studies. But the student teacher interaction in extra curriculum activity needs a little more improvement. The exams are not that hard to pass. It is easy.
