The highest placement in 2023 & 2024.
Placements: Branch wise placement percentage is different. The high percentage placement branches are Computer, IT, Mechanical, Electrical, and IC. The overall college placement percentage is 67%. The highest package last year was 19 LPA, the average package was 5.5 LPA, and the lowest package was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for Mechanical Engineering are Maruti Suzuki, L&T, Atul, Nayar, GHCL, Dipak Nitrate, Adani, Mittal, Microne, Air Production, Hitachi, etc. Roles offered in the Mechanical Engineering course are Graduate Training Engineer in the Production Department, Material Department, Design Department, Sales & Marketing Department, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has a large campus area. Campus infrastructure includes the library, hostel, badminton room, table tennis room, canteen, campus map, mechanical workshop, student section, all branches' labs, sports ground, classrooms, and ACPC building. The quality of the hostel facilities is good at only Rs. 1200 per year. The hostel provides study tables, personal lockers, and sleeping beds. However, the infrastructure of the old hostel blocks is very poor. There are 3 messes and a canteen in the college, with average food quality in the mess. For sports and games, the college has the largest ground, table tennis room, badminton court, basketball ground, football ground, volleyball ground, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful during placement and exam time. All the faculty have a master's degree, and some have a Ph.D. degree. Many teachers have excellent teaching skills, while very few have poor teaching skills. Many faculty members teach with the help of projectors. Yes, this course makes students industry-ready. During this course, students learn both theory and practical until the 7th semester, and the last semester is a 6-month internship.
Other: I chose Mechanical Engineering because I wanted to work with machines, design, and the material department. About 85% of students got placements in Mechanical Engineering, which is the best thing. Improving workshop machines' working conditions and lab facilities are things I wish would be better in my course. Events: GLOBAL ALUMINIUM CONVOCATION, IMPULSE SPORTS EVENT, TECH FEST, etc. In college, many clubs are available according to students' interests, such as NCC, NSS, Sahitya Sarita, Dhanak, Bachapan, Rotaract, Robocon, etc. Scholarships: Digital Gujarat Scholarship, MYSY, etc.

Good placement opportunities and facilities.
Placements: About 70-80% of students get placed in IT engineering at LDCE every year. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The lowest salary package offered in IT engineering at LDCE is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. Many companies like Facebook, Flipkart, Amazon, Swiggy, and Infosys visit LDCE every year in a placement season. Almost 100% of students got placed in 2023. The highest salary package offered in 2023 in IT engineering is 28 LPA.
Infrastructure: LDCE has a big campus. The environment of the campus is natural and peaceful. Labs and practice rooms are also designed in every department of engineering. The library has many searching resources and books. Wi-Fi is provided on each floor but sometimes, it is not working properly. The network is slow in some places at college. The hostel is also good but I don't live in a hostel, so I don't know much about it. According to my friend, facilities in the hostel are better.
Faculty: Faculty members of LDCE are qualified and knowledgeable in their fields. All of them are helpful. Their teaching quality is awesome. LDCE makes students ready for industries in each field with practical knowledge. Two exams are held in each semester. One is mid-term which is of 30 marks and one is a GTU exam for 70 marks. Mid-term exams are helpful for the GTU exam. They are not really difficult.
Other: I have an interest in technical knowledge so I prefer to choose IT engineering and I found that LDCE is a good college for it. I am reading and practicing daily for improvement. Many events and fests are held in LDCE which is helpful for students. Many scholarships are offered to students. The campus is good and connected with the main city area near all other colleges.

LD College of Engineering review.
Placements: From the previous year's record, about 80 to 90 percent of students are getting placement, so I can say 85 percent is the average placement. Now if I talk about packages, then the highest package is 19 lacs per annum, and the average is 15 lacs per annum. Companies don't approach for placement; we have to approach for placement in companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very moderate; you can say okay. The campus area is very large and open and very green. One best thing about this college is you will get every type of sports ground and lab for practical and for many particular events. Facilities provided within the classroom are very moderate; benches are old and the blackboard is also old. Wi-Fi is available in special classrooms and libraries. The hostel provides the worst facility; the washrooms are super dirty, and the cleanliness of the food is like poison.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, but there are some teachers who are very strict about their assignments, attendance and submissions. Teaching quality is moderate; many teachers are not so good at teaching. Yes, this course curriculum is very relevant and it makes students ready for industrial-level work.
Semester exams are not too hard, not too easy, moderate; if you study well, you will get good marks. The passing percentage is around 35%.
Other: If you are finding any very cheap and budget-friendly college with enough placement packages within Gujarat, this college is the best option for you.

Overall college is very good for engineering.
Placements: The L.D. College provides huge placements which provide 5 LPA to 18 LPA salary packages. In electrical engineering field, students selected for the placement are 80% to 90%. Companies that provide placements are Adani, Infosys, and many other companies.
Infrastructure: In electrical engineering department, the college provides library, machines lab, and many other labs for doing lab activities. Digital classrooms are provided by our college. Mess and canteen food quality is good. Sports event is organized in our college once a year.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college help in study as well as practical knowledge. They provide knowledge of our field and benefits of the field. The teaching quality is good and we can easily understand concept of the topic. Exams are more difficult than the university exam, so students can improve their study for the external exam.
Other:
I chose this course because the electrical engineering benefit is more. In the future without electricity, we can do nothing. Electricity is the main part of our life. Through this course of knowledge, we improve the daily life or future of our generation.

Best placements college in engineering.
Placements: In LDCE, the placement ratio is very high. Last year, around 87% of students are placed from mechanical engineering department. Total of 132 companies visited last year. Top MNCs like Reliance, L&T, and Tata group recruit from LDCE. The average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA - 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: College campus is very big and clean. All required facilities are available in this college. All labs and workshops have tools and instruments for improving practical knowledge of students. There are 7 hostels on college campus for boys and girls. Hostel fee is Rs. 1,200 per year.
Faculty: Faculty members and managing staff are very supportive and friendly. Faculty members are very intelligent and their teaching style is very effective. There are 3 exams per semester mid-semester, GTU theory exam, and practical exam. Not too much difficult the exam.

Decent Infrastructure and Scholarships, but lacks Practical Training and Industry Readiness.
Placements: Out of 40 students, 5 to 8 students are placed every year. This gives a placement percentage of approximately 12.5% to 20%. The highest package is 7 lakh per annum. The lowest package is 3 lakh per annum. The average package is approximately 5 lakh per annum. Some of the top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and many other MNCs. Around 20 to 25 percent of students got internships on campus. Companies offering internships include eSparkBiz, Simform, Satva Solution, Roima Intelligence. The top roles offered include Data Analyst, Full Stack Developer, ReactJS Developer, and MERN Stack Developer, with these being the higher-paying job roles.
Infrastructure: The college provides several facilities, including: Digital classrooms for an enhanced learning experience. Wi-Fi access across the campus. Superfast computers available for practical work. A good library with a variety of resources. The hostel facilities are average, offering both 2-sharing and 4-sharing rooms. The hostel does not have its own mess, but students can avail of private mess services at cheap prices. Sports games and medical facilities are not provided on the college campus.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and supportive, but the teaching quality is lacking. They do not focus on providing practical practice, so students often rely on resources like YouTube and ChatGPT to enhance their learning. The curriculum does not adequately prepare students for the industry. The college exams are easy, but the university exams are more difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue MCA in Ahmedabad. At the time, I wasn't sure about my specific future goals. The college campus is good, and the college offers scholarships through Digital Gujarat. I wish the course included more practical subjects and less theory. I also hope the professors would focus more on providing practical training to better prepare students for the industry. Since it is a government college, there are very few events and fests. However, the campus has good connectivity and surroundings. The college also provides a scholarship through Digital Gujarat, but extracurricular activities and events could be improved.
