Satisfied with good placements. All necessary facilities are present. Great campus life.
Placements: Students get placed in reputed companies like L&T, Adani, Atul, Aditya Birla Group, Maruti Suzuki Ltd, Air Products, etc. In Mechanical Engineering, nearly 80% - 85% of students get placed in the above-mentioned companies. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA - 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with smart boards. Hostel facilities depend on which hostel block you get during admission. The new hostel block has good facilities. Three to four different messes are available. Jain and Swaminarayan food is also available in one mess.
Faculty: All teachers are highly educated and very cooperative. However, the course curriculum is a bit behind the current industry needs. But it doesn't affect placements. Semester exams are not that difficult.
Other: Many external activities take place every day, so students will get to live their campus life full of fun and new experiences. Students will make connections at these events, which will help us in our future journey.

Absolutely fascinated by 2024 placements. Very good campus. Very low fee (about 1500/year).
Placements: I am Kalp Prajapati from L.D. College of Engineering, 3rd semester IT branch. This year's placements are still going on until now but I would definitely say that these placements are not that good as compared to previous years. Almost 75% of students are placed and the average package offered is 4.5 Lacs. The highest package offered is about 12 Lacs. Our top recruiters are TCS, Accenture, Rain India, Infosys and HCL.
Infrastructure: The college campus is very big. It has water supply everywhere. There is Wi-Fi facility in labs too. Some labs are not that good but some are very good especially in electrical and mechanical labs and computer depth. There are hostels in our college too. LDCE has a beautiful green campus.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified. Many of them graduated from IITs and NITs. If you will utilize their knowledge, then they will surely help you a lot. The course is relevant, but surely you need to prepare other than the lectures too. Semester exams are moderately difficult based on previous year papers. Passing percentage is almost 80-90%.
Other: The best thing about my course is that IT is booming and is an evergreen. There are certain recruiting technologies, and we need to update ourselves as per industrial needs. College has many clubs like LEO, Sahitya sarita, innovator club, rotrack club, iete, etc. Overall, college life will be fun. Campus is reachable and has many transportation options like BRTs, amts and autorickshaws too. Students get scholarships like MYSY, Digital Gujarat scholarships and many more.

Good college with sound placement cell and good college life.
Placements: Many good companies like Reliance, Adani, MGM Motors, and GNC visit the campus to recruit and a few departments like computer, IT, electrical, and rubber have excellent placement records. Arti, Suzuki, Mahindra, TCS, Tata Birla and many more companies recruit from the college.
Infrastructure: LDCE is one of the oldest colleges in the country and it has completed almost 76 years of it's existence. With its rich history and amazing alumni support, the college's growth is eminent. Many upgrades, like smart classrooms, Aarambh cells, conference rooms and computer labs, have been developed recently.
Faculty: LDCE comes under Gujarat Technological University, which has a good overall curriculum but I think an update needs to be there. LDCE is currently hosting 16 BE courses and 48 Masters. Courses for robotics and AIML were added in the past year. Exams are moderate.
Other: LDCE is a hub for many co-curricular activities which are conducted by various clubs and managed by students themselves.
Fests like Lakshya, Tarang, Alumni Convention, Thangaat, Impulse, etc. occur here. In addition to that, students also participate in various competitions at the national and international levels.

Good in placement and extra curricular activities
Placements: So basically we didn't have too many students so obviously we have best placement in our branch because there are only 38 seats in all over gujrat
Highest pakage I guess around 7-8 lpa in our branch
Companies like bkt , ceat , rubber king etc.
Almost 90% student got internship and placement also in our branch you can go in our college website and see the placement list of previous year many students got placement in big companies like bkt , ceat , mrf etc
They offer us as general manager and too many posts for company
Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure is too old but recently we have 2 new hostel building so it is good I personally go there and check I didn't get admission in it otherwise I will definitely go there because there is 3-4 mess and their food is too good compare to other pg's in ahemdabad
There is no wifi in hostel or college but you can go library any time and get wifi there is 3 wifi and speed is also good
There are also medical facilities for hostel boys
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful in our rubber technology department they are knowledgeable also semester exam is not too much tough you need to study regularly and you can pass easily
This course make student industry ready and also make us to build our own empire
Other: I have interest in business so I chose this course

Value for money college with decent placement opportunities.
Placements: Around 80–90% of students get placed every year. The highest package offered was 18 lakh per annum, the average package was 4.5 lakh, and the lowest was around 3 lakh. Top recruiters included L&T, Siemens, TCS, and Reliance Industries, offering roles such as control systems engineer, instrumentation engineer, and software developer.
Infrastructure: Our department is equipped with well-maintained labs, including control systems, PLCs, and automation labs. Classrooms are spacious with smart boards , and the campus has Wi-Fi access, though it can be slow during peak hours. The library is stocked with relevant textbooks and reference materials for all courses.and the hostel, rooms are basic but adequate, with 4 shared accommodations and essential furniture. The mess food is decent at an affordable price.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, often providing practical examples to explain concepts clearly. And the course curriculum for Instrumentation and Control Engineering is largely relevant for industry needs. Semester exams are moderately difficult but fair, with a pass percentage of around 70-80%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in automation and technology. The best things about the course are the practical lab sessions and the industry-relevant curriculum focusing on control systems and instrumentation. Campus has a vibrant atmosphere with events like Lakshya and TechFest, and the crowd is friendly and diverse.

Decent Infrastructure and Scholarships, but lacks Practical Training and Industry Readiness.
Placements: Out of 40 students, 5 to 8 students are placed every year. This gives a placement percentage of approximately 12.5% to 20%. The highest package is 7 lakh per annum. The lowest package is 3 lakh per annum. The average package is approximately 5 lakh per annum. Some of the top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and many other MNCs. Around 20 to 25 percent of students got internships on campus. Companies offering internships include eSparkBiz, Simform, Satva Solution, Roima Intelligence. The top roles offered include Data Analyst, Full Stack Developer, ReactJS Developer, and MERN Stack Developer, with these being the higher-paying job roles.
Infrastructure: The college provides several facilities, including: Digital classrooms for an enhanced learning experience. Wi-Fi access across the campus. Superfast computers available for practical work. A good library with a variety of resources. The hostel facilities are average, offering both 2-sharing and 4-sharing rooms. The hostel does not have its own mess, but students can avail of private mess services at cheap prices. Sports games and medical facilities are not provided on the college campus.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and supportive, but the teaching quality is lacking. They do not focus on providing practical practice, so students often rely on resources like YouTube and ChatGPT to enhance their learning. The curriculum does not adequately prepare students for the industry. The college exams are easy, but the university exams are more difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue MCA in Ahmedabad. At the time, I wasn't sure about my specific future goals. The college campus is good, and the college offers scholarships through Digital Gujarat. I wish the course included more practical subjects and less theory. I also hope the professors would focus more on providing practical training to better prepare students for the industry. Since it is a government college, there are very few events and fests. However, the campus has good connectivity and surroundings. The college also provides a scholarship through Digital Gujarat, but extracurricular activities and events could be improved.
