Placements: Usually, only an iota of students sits for campus placements. The reason being that CLC is famous and also provides a better platform if one wants to go for judicial services and litigation. Internships are not a problem for students of this college.
Placements: Our college provides one of the best placements among the best law firms and private practices. Some known and connoisseur of their respective fields visit our college and take students as interns litigation for as well as those who want to become judge. Political influence also gives it a name.
Placements: Being in the first year, I do not have much idea about placements. However, our seniors told us that companies visit the college to recruit deserving candidates in their workplace. Being a world recognised college, it is easier for us to get internships as well.
Placements: Placements of the college is fine but a person has to take initiative himself by doing internships and adding things to his cv. The more experience the better the chances will be there to be placed. Many got placed this year with various law firms, independent advocates, etc.
Placements: The placement cell is not quite good for law students in DU. Only a few students get placed in private firms. As far as internships are concerned, students need to apply for internships themselves. They do not get help from the college. There is a placement cell, but it is not that much effective.
Placements: Volunteer's are responsible for arranging the placements in the law campus. And we the participants are supposed to fill a form to participate in the same. At my time, it was also arranged. But I did not participated in the same. But as per the reviews of those who participated in the same, the same was satisfactory.
Placements: The placement committee of our college is good. Most of the students who appeared for placements got placed. The basic package offered was up to 7-8 Lacs per annum. The placement committee provides various internships in District Courts, High Courts and Supreme Court, that give good practical knowledge to the students.
Placements: Not a very active placement cell. But there are few good companies that come to CLC every year for example Wipro and others. And almost 20-30 students get placed. Packages are good. But apart from campus selection, one can get himself placed by directly contacting the legal firms and companies. CLC's degree is of great value.
Placements: Placement in CLC is not satisfactory, staff which is responsible for this is totally unaware of competition which is outside CLC. People who are well known in their filed also blame administration for not giving opportunity to students but people who are in court and bar are only people out of blue who helps the students.
Placements: Although the placement scenario is not very good, but I was fortunate to get through the first company, a leading private sector bank. 3-year law does not really has a good placement scenario anywhere, it is better that student do internship and work their way out.
Placements: The placements in CLC is very bad. The placement council is not very active and most of the students are not even aware of the placements going on in college as the committee is not informative enough. No big companies come for recruitments and it is a big disadvantage.
Placements: The college has its own PAC society. The assistance given by the PAC is good. The college offers good placement. The average package offered was 12 lacs per annum. The firms hold the placement directly on the basis of your profile and personal interview. Professors also have the active role in the placements.
Placements: The placements are not so good as NLUs provided, but if we compare it with three years LL.B. institutions, then it is much better than that. In the field of internships, it is really better because of its alumni strength. The campus law centre is a brand name, so its name is sufficient to get a good internship.
Placements: The college carries a placement cell. The cell has some connections to top law firms in the country. It can be stated that the college provides enough if not ample opportunities to the students, but the final call is to be decided by the students who seem not that interested in law firms.
Placements: The placement assistance council of CLC helps placement assistance cell which is a student-run volunteer body comprising of a student from all 3years of LL.B. programme at CLC the mandate of the council is to organise recruitment event for the 3rd year student registered with the council. The placement opportunities comprise of full-time job opportunities as well as internships opportunities.
Placements: The placements are good. It's up to the potential of one. If you do good in academics, you will get a good job. You have to work hard if you choose litigation over corporate jobs, but again it will pay you real good in future. You have to find a good lawyer for yourself, who can teach you the basics of litigation.
Placements: Though there is a placement cell, placements are not good at CLC compared to NLUS. Last year (2017), the highest package was offered by Wipro of Rs. 10 LPA. Some other companies like Airtel, PNB, etc. also came and offered Rs. 5-10 LPA, but not many companies came. One has to apply for the internship by himself, and there is no aid from placement cell. Ultimately, if one aims for top law firms, one has to apply by himself for internship and placement. Placements are improving at CLC. There is su...
Placements: The college has a placement assistance council which works as a society requisite to provide the internships and placements to the students who register with the society. However, most students still find the internships on their own as the society hardly provides any internship opportunities. The society does even worse when it comes to placements. The college has almost 700 students. However, hardly 5-10 companies come to the college for talent acquisition every year.
Placements: There are high internship opportunities here. Most of TGE students opt for the litigation or LL.M. Still those who wish to go in the corporate are duly placed. There is an active placement assistance council on the campus. There will also be a lot of interactions with the practising lawyers and academicians.
Placements: There is no formal placement cell to hold any placement camps, but the placements are informal. However, University of Delhi is the place from where 90% of the present supreme court judges have studied. Kiran Bedi, Kapil Sibbal, Arun Jaitley and many other influential people, big and influential lawyers recruit interns directly (given that, of course, you must be hardworking and sincere students). The brand name of Campus Law Centre does resonate with the legal world.
