Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2023

I am not satisfied with the placements.
Placements: No placements were provided for our batch. There was neither any placement support for college nor any industrial visit conducted for our batch. It was very disappointing, as no support was provided for internships either. Students were expected to reach out to the company themselves. They should not conduct more seminars or PowerPoint presentations for better learning.
Infrastructure: Even though the classrooms were spacious, they were not kept clean. Even some of the lights and fans were not in working condition. The college was supposed to shift to the new premises; however, they should improve on the hygiene part. The library had a decent stock of textbooks and reference books; however, they could include more magazines, novels, and books for competitive exams. There was no space or ground for sports activities, nor were there any coaches. The canteen was affordable and had a good variety.
Faculty: Some of the teachers were very helpful. However, most of them were not making sufficient efforts, and the teaching mostly ticked off textbooks. I would like to rate the teaching quality as average since modern methods like videos and PowerPoint presentations were not used.
Other: There is much scope for development in terms of campus life.

There is no effort by this college for campus placements.
Placements: This college was not having an independent placements cell nor any teacher coordinators. Students were expected to reach out to the companies themselves. Internships were not compulsory, nor a part of the course. However, some students search for internships opportunities on their own during the final year. The average salary package that students expect after pursuing this degree was around 1.2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The classroom facilities were average and basic. There were traditional type blackboards used, whiteboards were not there and some classes had projectors for powerpoint presentations. Wi-Fi facility was not available. The library had a limited collection of textbooks and reference books. The canteen food was hygienic and affordable. Not many facilities were available when it comes to sports.
Faculty: Most of the teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was average. They can include more case studies and learning through e-content to make the learning more interesting. The course curriculum was as per these university standards. They can add more industry visits and role-playing exercises also. The semester exams had an easy to moderate level of difficulty, and the passing percentage was 35%.

Our college doesn't have placement support.
Placements: There was no official campus drive conducted by the college. It was very disappointing as not even a single company was a part of the recruitment process and students are expected to reach companies on their own. There was no internship support provided by the college. Only one seminar was conducted in the final year to make us aware of interview cracking skills.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility was not available for students. The college building was old and some of the lights and fans were not in working condition. There is a lot of problem during July and August as there is a lot of waterlogging and no proper arrangements have been made so far. The canteen food is hygienic and affordable. There is no much facility for sports activities. The library has a limited collection of books.
Faculty: The teaching quality is average as no videos or PowerPoint presentations are used for effective conduction of lectures. They can include visiting faculty having prior corporate experience for better guidance. The course curriculum is as per the university standards. They should add more seminars and conferences to make the learning more effective. The semester exams have a passing percentage of 40%.
