Administration is unfair with chemical technology students for training and placements.

Placements: Last year, the package was offered by Tata motors was 6.5 lacs per annum which were highest. Out of total 18 students 12 were placed on-campus, and 6 were placed off-campus. The companies like BASF, Tata motors, Nerolac and Berger usually visit the campus. Marketing, production, technical service, application, R&D and production are the fields where the students are usually placed. Elite, GFC, Merge, Litman was the companies where the internships and training are arranged for the students.

Placements: 65% of the students got placed in core chemical and pharma companies like Reliance Industries, Glenmark, UPL, Vedantta, Technimont, Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions, etc. Our senior batch had better placement than our batch which had above recruiters as well. 100% student got internship in core chemical sector including refineries, consultancy, fertilizers, etc. with a few of them getting stipend.

Yes it is a very good college and placements are quite good almost about 80 to 90% students get placed every year. As we know this college is only concerned with chemical engineering which has so many scope, you can have bright future here. The college campus is not so good but teaching point of view its fantastic. But So many laboratory facilities are missing here. So if you are interested in chemical engineering I must recommend this college. Thank you.

LIT Nagpur is a college known for its chemical engineering branch. The atmosphere is good, it is a kind of short and sweet college as we don’t have a big crowd, only 700 people in college. The faculty is topmost, training and placement department is good as only core companies visit our college and I can say placements are 100 percent for those who deserve placement, it is 80% in some specific technological departments like oil technology, paper and pulp technology, polymers technology and surfa...

LIT Nagpur is the dream college for those who really want to shape up their career with a pace they cannot achieve with other colleges in Nagpur. But getting admission here is not as easy as some private colleges, you have to score better in CET to get admission here. As I am a chemical engineering graduate from here, I will always suggest to go for a chemical engineering branch. The placements here are awesome, you can't even imagine the public sector companies like BPCL, HPCL, etc., of India h...
