Overall, the best college for M.A. in Media Arts Course.

DNEG, Technicolor, MPC Film, and other major hiring firms are among them. Companies such as Lakshya Digital hired over 55% of the students for internships. Among the most sought-after positions are those of animator and art director.

An honest review of Loyola College for M.A. in History.

Placements: 65% of students were placed with a package of around 2-4 LPA with roles as banker and lecturer in one of the top-notch banks. Nonetheless, there were no internships offered for the outgoing students, which provided more opportunities for the students, which could help them find better jobs.

Facilities are good in Loyola.

Placements: As I know, Loyola College has the best placements, with recruiting companies like Infosys, Wipro, MEIL, IBM, Teach Mahindra offering jobs. The highest package is 25 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA per annum in campus placements for students in the college.

Short Summary of Loyola College.

Placements: From the 3rd semester onwards in M.A. Economics, students with all clear subjects sit for campus placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, ICICI Bank, Avasoft, and TNB Bank recruit many students. The highest package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the placement rate is lower than expected. Many companies conduct interviews but do not announce the results.

I can say I learned a lot of things from college.

Placements: The placement quality of our college is good. So many companies come here. The placement process is so smooth. Our college also helps with placements. Around 70 to 80 percent of students got placed last year. Salary packages are around INR 4 LPA to 10 LPA. The college provides placement assistance to students.

The infrastructure and culture here are good.

Placements: There were only a few placements available for students in the social work department, but that is irrelevant to their studies. We can just use those interviews for the interview experience. Otherwise, just for the sake of going to any job and earning. It won't be enjoyable since it's totally out of your field.

Review of Loyola College.

Placements: This college offers very good placements for the students in their final year. The top companies visit the college and select students. Deloitte, HDFC, Goldman Sachs were some of the visiting companies that select only the skilled students for various roles.

Good college but very bad placements.

Placements: The admission process begins with filling an application online, then you have to write an offline entrance exam, then you have an interview at the department. Another thing that plays an important role in your admission is your undergraduate scores. The placements will disappoint you, the placements should be much higher, many companies come but still after the post graduation the package should be much higher. Though if you want to join as a teacher somewhere, that will be a good option.

I am highly satisfied with the college.

Placements: About 70% of the students got placed in different companies and NGOs from our department. The highest salary package offered was about 5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was about 3-2 LPA for freshers. Top recruiting companies are mostly MNCs and other NGOs. Roles offered are mostly counsellors in NGOs and HR in MNCs.

Loyola College is the best.

Placements: I am in the M.A. in Social Work course. Almost 100% of the students from our course got placed. Top recruiting companies like Ramco Cements and Murugappa Group visit our campus for placements. Almost every student got an internship in very good organisations like Ashok Leyland, HGS, TVS, CUMI and Hatsan. Top roles, like human resource management, community development, human rights and psychiatrist, are offered to the students.

Loyola is satisfactory, and it is the best for candidates aspiring to work in cooperate sector.

Placements: Placements in Loyola are great. More than 80% of the students who wished to get placed got placed in various international firms like E&Y, Facebook, Worldbank (as project assistant), KPMG, Google, etc. Loyola has student exchange programme, so the excellent students from economics and commerce department will get international exposure thereby could build a better career. When the international students visit our campus, we could experience academic and cultural mix on the campus.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of staff members working there. But, there was no placement cell.

Placements: Placement was not satisfying here. They are not giving importance to alumni. Only 45% of students were placed during my academic period 2015. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per annum and the average salary was Rs. 25,000 per annum, then the lowest salary was Rs. 15,000 per annum. The companies like HTC, Lenovo, Nokia, and all MNC's companies visited the college. Here, no importance will be given to the students as they will not ask any suggestions from the students for making any new ...

Loyola college makes students to become a better member of the society.

Placements: Since, Loyola is a top college in India, all the big companies will start to recruit students from the very starting of the academic year onwards. Only a student should qualify the specification provided by the company. Almost, all the departments have campus placements and department wise placements are also available. For MA in sociology, we can join for college placements at whole and also, sit for department wise placements referred by the department alone. Already two students from the curr...

The Loyola College is a well-known college, the educational standard it has maintained all these years is the main reason for it. The management is very strict with attendance chart. They withhold the student’s hall ticket whose attendance chart is not up to the minimum required percentage. The food quality inside the campus was average, but the hostel mess is superb. However the management encourages students for sports and events. The degree certificate from Loyola has a great value in job mar...

I am extremely satisfied with the faculty and the knowledge that the college provides.

Placements: There are placement cells in the campus and a lot of students apply for it. I wouldn't say that they don't get placements but a very few, qualified and skilled students get the opportunity. Compulsory internship is asked for final year students and the college also provides with such opportunities.
