The placements were too good 6 years back.Since then the quality of students entering has come down.

Placements: Placements have not yet started for our batch but around 45% students got placed in my previous batch. The highest package was close to 7LPA and the lowest was 3LPA. Average package offered 3.5LPA. Top recruiting companies which visits our campus for hiring mechanical engineering students are Royal Enfield, Hyundai, Ford, CEAT Tyres, TVS. No one got internship in my batch due to the pandemic. Top roles offered are graduate engineering trainee, research trainee.

I am very satisfied, and it is a fantastic institute.

Placements: I am studying B.E production engineering course, and it is actually an excellent course. We gain very much knowledge from it. Staff members in our course are very helpful. About 80% of students get placed from our course. Girls in this course are preferred more for placements. The salary package offered is approximately 10 LPA-4 LPA. Top companies like Caterpillar, Hyundai, Ford, Titan, Cumi, etc., have recruited students from here. About 50% of the students got internships in Caterpillar and Ti...

The curriculum needs to be changed, and the placement rate is declining,

Placements: Over 80% of students got placed. Although it is important to note that better grades always doesn't mean higher opportunities for placements. Packages varied from 4.2 LPA to 7.2 LPA. On average, 4.8 LPA is the package offered. Most of the core companies for aeronautical engineering are of mechanical and computer fields, as there are very few companies that recruit aeronautical engineers. Companies such as L&T, Caterpillar, and TCS were the most common choices. Internship opportunities are high f...

In this college, you will get true experience of life in the early days of your career.

Placements: Most of the companies will recruit students from CS and IT departments, and only a few mechanical companies will visit here for campus recruitment. The top company which visited our campus for placements when I was graduated was Google. Most of our batchmates did their internships on their own.

I am satisfied with placements and teaching. But dissatisfied with food served in the mess.

Placements: Students have to attend placements with CEG students. Our seniors are also placed in good numbers but not as much as in CEG. But if you got placed in a core company, the salary package offered is very good than other colleges. The salary package offered ranges from Rs. 30,000 per month - Rs. 60,000 per month. Since Anna University is the best college in Tamil Nadu for engineering, many companies come for recruitment and the rest is your interest and your talent.
