Happy with placements, Satisfied with infrastructure. Simply" MIT IS A HEAVEN .

Placements: The placement records are good for ECE, IT and CSE departments which is around 80%. There are many core companies and IT companies visiting out campus. Since it is directly under the Anna University, placement records are increasing every year. The students are well trained for placements right from their 5th semester. Other departments like mechanical, production, automobile have placement of 50%.

MIT is a place where you can develop as a human being and that's what the college life is about.

Placements: Chennai being the automobile hub, placements in core sectors are pretty good. However the department has increased it's intake recently from 60 to 120 students. So it is difficult for all to get into automotive sector. In our batch 25 out of 60 got placed in automotive sector and 15 others were placed in IT sector. All the major OEMs in Chennai visited the campus with pay varying from 3 LPA to 15 LPA. Whereas internship through college is very difficult and only one student got intern through co...

MIT is a great place for your life to be settled.

Placements: The placements are good in MIT. Around 100 to 150 top companies visited our campus. They include Samsung, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Goldman Sachs, Direct, Paypal, Zoho, etc. Around 75 % of our IT department got placed in 2018. The highest salary will be 30 Lacs per annum, and the lowest salary would be 3 LPA. The roles offered were developers, testers, power programmers, etc. Coming about the internship, you have a chance to attend around 10 to 15 internships in your 3rd year. The stipends vary ...

A good college with offering better exposure.

Placements: The Placements are very good. It is up to standards of the Industry. All departments not only ECE everything has been good. It is very engaging in developing skills in placements. The highest Package offered is around 20 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. The roles are ranging from IT, Telecommunications, Consulting, Core Electronics etc. Placement cell is highly useful in training and coordinating with people.

This college has a good placements and staff.

Placements: MIT is Tamil Nadu's top college as all of you know that. Here is some of the special thing about our MIT, placements are at best in our college when compared to the other private colleges. In our department, the giant companies like Amazon, Adobe, Visa, Zoho recruit more students from our college. Internships are also given to some intellectual students independent of the year of the students studying there.

A really good college, don't forget to make use of it.

Placements: The placements are now okay, and the recruitment in core companies is going down, and the placements in IT companies is good. They are recruiting more number of students in core companies. Aeronautical engineering has stopped recruiting directly, and the core companies for other departments are only a few.

MIT is a place, where you create your future.

Placements: The placements on the campus are good. More or less, the big giants of the rubber field like TVS tyres, Reliance MRF, RAYCHEM all visit here for the campus interview and also select the students for internships also. If the students were aspiring for IT jobs, then a lot of companies like Zoho, TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, Samsung, etc.. visit the campus. The placement percentage of our campus is nearly 85-90%. But for our department, the number of students getting placed on the campus interviews is le...

MIT is an institute to enjoy in learning and to live your life.

Placements: In MIT, if you're skilled and you hone your skills in the right way, a flurry of opportunities will lie at your doorstep. The lack of placement training has been completely overshadowed by the training conducted by the variety of clubs at MIT. The availability of core jobs dipping in numbers and MIT has made sure to stop that dip numbers. The IT firms storming in hiring the skilled ones, and the core ones also constantly clip into our college. At an average, MIT can proudly deliver 80% placement...

Overall, it is an average college to study.

Placements: You will get good core placements if you are studying CS, IT, EEE, or ECE. But placements are very low for mechanical field department. You should be studying very good if you want to get placed in core companies. Very good top companies will come to visit for placements.

Placements: If you are into Anna University, MIT campus, the best part in it is T series. A right place that will drive you to achieve your dream.

Placements: There were nice opportunities to get placed in the IT and core companies with a good and best package. The only thing you need is, keep your personality and knowledge at high. Year by year, the placement percents were increasing. Last year in my department, 60% got placed. When I am in the final year, 69% were placed in their dream companies.

One of the decent places to get engineering degree (Dr A P J Abdul Kalam was our alum).

Placements: Everyone without standing backlogs was placed. Most companies in the IT sector were there. Also, a few from the semiconductor industry as per my research, it has only become better since the year I have left the college. There was no mechanism to provide internships when I was there. The students used to get them on their own.

A good college and an average department.

Placements: I'm from automobile department, so the placements are very less. Till now, only 4 have been placed in mechanical stream companies and 10 people overall, out of the class of 54. So, this needs a lot to improve. FCA, L&T and RNTBCI are the companies that came for placements for us.

A great college with lots of facilities and a soft environment

Placements: The placement is very rare but there is compulsion in placements for IT fields based on your score. But in early 2010, there were lots of placements in almost all departments for all students. But due to more engineering graduates, the placement are quite an upset still.

Placements: Madras Institute of Technology comes under Anna University. So the campus is authorised to attend placements in Guindy campus of Anna University too. Now coming to the statistics, Accenture, Accolite, Air Watch, Amazon, Chronus, Citicorp, CTS, Flipkart, TCS, RBS and may others come to the campus for placements. Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements, really good infrastructure.

Placements: In my batch, the placement is not bad compared to my senior batch. Around 150 companies came to my campus and the placement percentage of my batch is 75%. The highest salary package is 16 lacs per annum, the lowest is 3 lacs per annum and the average salary package is 5 lacs per annum. Above 50 are electronics core-based companies for the fields of networking, digital, communication and electronics. 20% students got the internship on the campus.

Placements: Placements are pretty good in this college primarily because it is a university department of the leading university in the state of Tamil Nadu. A lot of core companies look forward to recruiting skilled students. But, they are very selective and want nothing less than highly talented and knowledgeable students. For example, students from the electronics and instrumentation department are recruited by top-notch companies like Shell, Caterpillar, Cypress Semiconductors, Microchip (which are all e...
