A good place for students to have a better life.

Placements: MIT is one of the campuses of Anna University. Anna University serves great opportunities to the students to get placed in top companies. The best companies like IBM, Wipro, TCS, CTS, Infosys, HCL, Tech Mahindra etc hire a lot of students (that is why we called those companies as bulk companies). Core companies were hiring students every year. Bulk companies offer a minimum salary package of 4 LPA and core companies offer 8 LPA to 30 LPA. MIT is one of the most reputed colleges in South India. Established in 1949 by Rajam, it was initially an autonomous institution later affiliated to Anna University. The college is known for the departments like Electronics and Instrumentation, Automobile Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering. It also has strong alumni base. Few of the notable alumni are Dr. Abdul Kalam, Sujatha (Writer). So all in all MIT is a great place to be in for Engineering.

This is a good college for a good campus life. In my opinion, the aeronautical department does not have a quality faculty. The placements are very low in the department. You can be placed in software companies, but if you want a core job, diversify your course and choose mechanical engineering, which is identical to aeronautical engineering.

The whole Tamil Nadu knows about MIT. The senior-junior relationship is the one of the most common power of MIT. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalaam is our one of the fable seniors. Experienced staff guides the students to better performance in studies.

This college is located out of the city. Where you can't get good food and shelter. The faculty members do not attend classes regularly. There is no proper placement assistance. There are no lab facilities and hostel facilities are the worst for girls and boys. The hostel food is the worst. The city always has a hot climate.

MIT was more of a second home to me than just my college. To have graduated from an institute which had the likes of our late President, Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam as one of its most illustrious alumni is definitely something that evokes a sense of pride in me even till this date. I'll forever be grateful to this quaint place which has shaped me to the person that I am today.

MIT, is a place which enables you to become what you aspire in your life. The College has limited number of seats in each department which helps the Professors to concentrate more on each student. The Exams are purely based on testing the concepts which the students have learnt from the classroom lectures, rather than a usual theory paper. Apart from studies, the college offers various classes to enhance our skills like foreign language, dance, and sports. It is a perfect choice for a person who...

It is the best institution ever. Few staffs are really good. The only cons. about this college is that there is a kind of partiality shown on the students. The ones who does tinkering and puncturing works with the teachers will be given more preference than the ones who really work hard.

It is a place where you could develop yourself overall as a personality and not just academically alone to get placed in a reputed organization with a hand sum salary. It is not just an institution but more than that. You create a kind of bonding with your fellow mates, your tutors and other people in the administrative duty of the college which will last forever and which invites you with an ever-grinning smile whenever you visit the institution after you finish your course. Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam, former president is our esteemed senior. Our college is one of the few colleges which offers aeronautical engineering. Such an old institution, it carried its reputation throughout the years. The college houses competitive cross-section of more than 950-1200 students. There is a good mix of students from different parts of the country. Students have a very healthy atmosphere to learn and interact here. Seniors are supportive and there is no kind of ragging done here.

MIT is such a wonderful college. Students have the opportunity to improve their technical engineering skills as well as managerial skills. There are lots of activities for overall personality development of the individual. There will be excellent interaction between seniors and juniors. You can get lots of opportunities to participate in sports as well as in cultural. If you join MIT you'll come to know what you are capable of, and according to that you can design yourself.

The library consists of thousands of books, journals and references and it is useful for developing one's skillset.
