MIT is one of the most reputed colleges in South India. Established in 1949 by Rajam, it was initially an autonomous institution later affiliated to Anna University. The college is known for the departments like Electronics and Instrumentation, Automobile Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering. It also has strong alumni base. Few of the notable alumni are Dr. Abdul Kalam, Sujatha (Writer). So all in all MIT is a great place to be in for Engineering.

It's an awesome place to study. The ROI is amazing. Madras institute of technology has some of the best facilities in the state. It has an amazing brand value especially as part of Anna University group. It's one the top and most sorted out college in the state for engineering.

This is a good college for a good campus life. In my opinion, the aeronautical department does not have a quality faculty. The placements are very low in the department. You can be placed in software companies, but if you want a core job, diversify your course and choose mechanical engineering, which is identical to aeronautical engineering.

It has a good environment. If one is really interested in innovation, they will find good opportunities here. Also, it provides better education at a lower cost. There is a good support from the alumni.

The whole Tamil Nadu knows about MIT. The senior-junior relationship is the one of the most common power of MIT. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalaam is our one of the fable seniors. Experienced staff guides the students to better performance in studies.

This college is located out of the city. Where you can't get good food and shelter. The faculty members do not attend classes regularly. There is no proper placement assistance. There are no lab facilities and hostel facilities are the worst for girls and boys. The hostel food is the worst. The city always has a hot climate.

MIT was more of a second home to me than just my college. To have graduated from an institute which had the likes of our late President, Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam as one of its most illustrious alumni is definitely something that evokes a sense of pride in me even till this date. I'll forever be grateful to this quaint place which has shaped me to the person that I am today.

The best college for studies and other curricular activities. The faculty are the best. The guidance provided by the faculty during the projects is one of the unique things you could find here. And the facilities provided is up to the mark. The campus is pleasant with lots of used around the placements is very good.

MIT a best place to study and enjoyment. infrastructure is not so good but it looks like a green environment.seniors and juniors relationships will be goood. they will help you at any situation .teaching is not so appreciable youu have to study on your own interest.

It is the best institution ever. Few staffs are really good. The only cons. about this college is that there is a kind of partiality shown on the students. The ones who does tinkering and puncturing works with the teachers will be given more preference than the ones who really work hard.

Very good senior-junior relationship. Average teaching. Good academics and need to concentrate then you will get a good life. Good placements. Good library facility. Good transportation. Train and bus good connectivity. Greenish environment. Good mess food.

Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam, former president is our esteemed senior. Our college is one of the few colleges which offers aeronautical engineering. Such an old institution, it carried its reputation throughout the years. The college houses competitive cross-section of more than 950-1200 students. There is a good mix of students from different parts of the country. Students have a very healthy atmosphere to learn and interact here. Seniors are supportive and there is no kind of ragging done here.

MIT is such a wonderful college. Students have the opportunity to improve their technical engineering skills as well as managerial skills. There are lots of activities for overall personality development of the individual. There will be excellent interaction between seniors and juniors. You can get lots of opportunities to participate in sports as well as in cultural. If you join MIT you'll come to know what you are capable of, and according to that you can design yourself.

The professors are good in teaching education and discipline. This is one of the top colleges in Tamil Nadu. The students are trained well to take upon the campus interview boldly and actively. The library consists of thousands of books, journals and references and it is useful for developing one's skillset.
