MIT is a college where you can get a job just by having your score card clean (without history). As for ECE, you should work hard to get into a core job. If you are a merited student, then your fees is going to be dead cheap. No appreciable hostel and mess. The faculty and the resources are plenty if you know how to use them for your betterment.

It's a beautiful world, I learned a lot. Got a lot of things. Knowledge about studies, out of studies, friends, senior junior relationships, sports events, cultural etc. Words cannot be enough, in odd semester worry about studies. But in the even semester, all students of our college shines like a festival street. Individual department symposiums, activities, competing projects, placements gives a beautiful experience.

It is a good college with great culture. Timings are awesome! The faculties are very friendly and approachable. The Senior-Junior relationship here is the best! Food quality can be improved a bit. Lots of opportunities to play different sports. The lab facilities are top notch. The hostels are not bad but there is a lot of room for improvement. Water in hostel is often scarce. The mess food is not up to the mark. The campus is very green with lot of tress but there is also a lot of garbage. Park...

A very nice place to grow technical and personality skills. An arena for overall development with good facilities and opportunities. The college is very well known for the 'senior junior relationship’. Seniors act as mentors for the juniors in terms of Academics and placements and of course in building up fun. The Institute has practical oriented curriculum where students are emphasized in doing projects of their own.

Top automobile recruiters were TVS, Caterpillar, Ashok Leyland, etc., and IT sector companies include Infosys, TCS, etc. Getting a job will be easy but getting a high paying job in automobile field would be hard.

Review of Madras Institute of Technology (MIT Chennai).

Placements: Placements in the core companies are not much good as many of them were selected in IT companies. The opportunity for the automobile is less, even though the core company recruits circuit stream students. Our opportunity is less. Students with high academic scores have more possibilities.

Satisfied because I gained a lot of knowledge from faculty, and college has good placements.

Placements: Placement is good for our batch, especially for computer science students. Most of the students will get placed. There is a placement cell, and they will take care of placement related activities. But students have to go to the CEG campus to attend the placement related activities.
