Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2023

Dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: Last year, students who completed their final year got placed in local companies which do not offer good pay. The percentage of students who got placed in these companies was considerably low. So, the placements in this college are extremely low and will always disappoint you.
Infrastructure: The campus has two buildings, which are not so modern, and they look very old. During the rainy days, the campus is filled with rainwater. The canteen is moderate, but the things to eat are comparatively good. There is no Wi-Fi on campus and no sports ground.
Faculty: The staff and faculty in our college are not much qualified as they should be. The teaching method in this college is very poor and traditional. The semester exams are not so difficult, and students can study one day before the exam and get passing marks easily.
Other: BCA has a good scope in the near future, and with that mindset, I chose bachelor of computer applications. Besides, it is fun and more of a practical subject.

I'm disappointed with this college.
Placements: The placements in our college are less than 10%. The highest package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest package was 1 LPA. Our college has the least placements compared to other colleges in our city.
Infrastructure: The canteens are not so big in our college. But there are various food items like patties, burgers, tea and coffee. There is no Wi-Fi in our college. Medical facilities are limited. Sports grounds are small and limited to one sport. Games include football and cricket.
Faculty: The teachers are not qualified and are inexperienced. They don't know how to teach the students, and they don't know how to interact with others. The exams are difficult here, and the pass percentage is above average. But they pass by studying from YouTube, not from teachers.
Other: My course, Bachelor of computer applications, is a very interesting course. The students who have done 12th with a minimum of 50% marks can get this course without any problem. Scholarship schemes are available for students with good percentage and students who are financially weak.

Maharaja Ranjit Singh college review.
Placements: None of our classmates got any placement.
But in another course they got placement in Wipro. Students with merit performance got internships immediately.
But students with average performance need to clear a personal interview to get the job in companies like Wipro.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good; we got a library with a divided department according to subject section.
The college has Wi-Fi facilities all over the campus for the students and teachers.
The classroom and halls are fully air-conditioned in summer.
Faculty: The teachers here in my course are very well educated and knowledgeable. They help the students to surpass their limit to score well in exam without putting any kind of pressure on them.
Course curriculum is relevant but some students can't get the gist of it and it's not that hard to score passing marks
.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest, and in my course there are so many subjects to choose from. There are many fest conducted by college every year, like freshers parties, farewells, and the annual youth fest.

I am dissatisfied with the college. So I suggest you don't choose it.
Placements: Placements in this college are very poor. Only 2% of students get placements from this college. Out of 2% of students who got placements got a salary package of less than 5 LPA. Companies which visited here were local and were small-scale companies. So placements are worse in our college. I suggest you choose the college wisely.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good here. There is a total of two buildings in our college. There is a library for students which offers free books to weaker students, and the classrooms are average. There is no Wi-Fi for students. There is a canteen, but the food served is very worse.
Faculty: The teachers here have very poor knowledge of the specific subject which they are teaching. There do not help students. They do time pass here, and they focus on their exams rather than teaching the students. So education here is worse. So I advise you to choose the college wisely.
Other: I chose this course because it's easy and fun to pursue. My elders guided me to choose this course because it has scope in the future, and it is easy to learn. The events in this college are poorly organised.

I am dissatisfied with this college. I do not recommend students join this college.
Placements: This college is the worst in terms of placements. Students should not get their hopes high for placements in this college. The number of placements provided per year is less than 10. If you want to get a good job in a good company, then do not join this college.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, our college is above average. There is a huge canteen which has all sorts of eatables. There are sports grounds for various sports activities. Students can perform all sorts of sports activities on these grounds. The college has its own personal library, which offers free books to low students.
Faculty: Staff members in our college are the worst. Teachers here are below qualified. They are not so helpful to the students. Students have to go to additional tuitions for their preparation. They have very poor knowledge. So if you are looking for a good college with good education, then this is not for you.
Other: I have chosen the Bachelor of Computer Applications course. I have chosen this course because I have an interest in computer programming. The main thing about our course is that it is fun to do. This subject is more of a practical subject, so our college should provide more practical classes. Events and fests organised in the college are average. The scholarship schemes are good. Extracurricular activities conducted at the college are the worst.

No teaching dedication from faculty.
Placements: To be honest, there are no placements in the college for any type of course. So if you come here to pursue a course you have to make up your mind that you will not get placed as no companies come here for hiring. For placements, there are better colleges available in the area.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is great as the college is spacious, many rooms are available and there is a lot of greenery to SEE. Wi-Fi facility is not available. But the college had a well-stocked library and most of the books are available. Sports facilities are mediocre.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is knowledgeable experienced, but they are not much dedicated to the students. The teachers mostly download the notes from the internet and provide them to the students. Exams are not very tough. They are moderate. Students generally suffer from the lack of dedication of teachers.
