It is an old renowned college lagging a bit in terms of infrastructure and other facilities.

Placements: The placements at MPCT were majorly focused on computer science students. Companies like Genpact, Kabra Bearings, and some other small companies visited the campus. Out of the total batch of 240, some 40 students got placed through campus. The highest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA by Genpact. The average salary package offered was around 1.5 LPA. The lowest salary pacakge offered was 1.2 LPA. Summer training needed to be done on their own, and no assistance was provided by this college. Pla...

This is a good college and the facilities are also good.

Placements: Around 20-30% of students are placed from this college in computer science branch. The lowest salary offered is Rs 24,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs 35,000 per month. The highest salary offered is Rs 60,000 per month. The top recruiting company is Infosys, and none of the students get internships from our course.

The worst part in our college is that teachers judge students based on their branches.

Placements: More than 20% of the students got placements from our course. The highest salary package offered here is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. HCL and most of IT, CS and MBA related companies visit here for placements. Our college never gives us opportunities for internships. I am a student of civil engineering, and there is no scope for civil students. We complained to the in-charge, but they don't want to give opportunities for other branch students. They only focus on CS and ...

This college can be considered as the last option for B.E.

Placements: In our batch, less than 305 students got placed in TCS only. Many other companies came but hired for a profile of sales which was not related to engineering anyhow. The highest salary package offered was by TCS of 3.3 LPA. Internships were not provided.

Our college is good as compared to other colleges.

Placements: Approximately 20 to 30% of the students got placed from computer science engineering. The highest salary package offered is approximately 4 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA and the average salary package offered is approximately 3 LPA. Almost 100% of the students got an internship.

It was good experience and disappointed to see the less placement from last 3 years.

Placements: This college provide limited placements in less companies but you will get more opportunities according to your marks. Last year from my batch from civil engineering all of them got a job from outside there is no placements opportunities for core companies. Now a days they are inviting for recruitment mostly like call center, BPO jobs and in some small organisation. Last year placement percentage is less than 50%. The highest package last year was 3.2lpa and average 2.4lpa in companies like indi...

Overall, I am satisfied with my memories and efforts, and the faculty members were good.

Placements: It is very difficult for the students to get placed. Very few companies visit the campus, and most of them are from the IT sector only. Some companies or startups select the students but neglect or procrastinate during the date of joining. So, the college is good but don't expect that you will get placed after the completion of the course. Students have to study and work hard to get placed.

It's a best college and the oldest one.

Placements: I took part in various campus recruitment drives. Various companies came like Genpact, Kabra Bearing, TCS, Royal Enfield, Bullman and many cores and non-core companies. I got placed in US Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Noida with a package of 2.4 LPA. It's an awesome company.

Not good enough in placements and not good faculty to teach students very well.

Placements: Very poor placement of my batch and my seniors also because in my batch, only one student got placed in TCS only and nobody got selected in placements because in the college, students did not speak English very effectively so they didn't understand about what they did and the location, then how to give an answer.

Good placement, value for money and study oriented environment.

Placements: I got placed in TCS on the college campus. It changed my life. I am thankful to my college and professors. The college had arranged for the learning and development sessions, and it was outstanding feeling when you got placed in the college. I am still serving for TCS and literally I believe the company is very good and employee oriented.

It has average placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements were offered from the college. There were 2 IT companies came for placements, but unfortunately, I am an electrical engineer. They should at least arrange some placements in the core area. Also, the IT companies were like Genpact BPO and HCL BPO. So, for me, it was like wasting your time for such companies.

Maharan Pratap College of Technology based on trust and duty. Excellent for the future of students.

Placements: The college is tied up with TCS, which allows top 5 direct interviews without conducting a written exam. HCl, Accenture Genpact, Emicon, Cadbury, and IBM etc. are the companies that visit our campus. The companies give internship\training letters on time. Information required about T&P cell is regularly updated. Placement is based on previous records of 10 and 12th also.

Really good faculty, with fine infrastructure.

Placements: The placement was not 100% but the college called the companies like TCS, Syntel, Emicon and many other for placements. And also provided the information of open campuses near us. They also provided the personality development classes for final year students to train them for the interviews.

Dissatisfied in terms of campus placement in 2015 batch.

Placements: In 2015, no such number of companies came. Only TCS (in MNC) came and 2-3 startup companies came. But in our senior batch, there were more than 60-70 students selected. Around 30-40 students got selected in all companies in my 2015 batch with salary between 1.8-3.24 lpa. The companies offered the role of associate software trainee to the student. There is only TCS that comes every year.

Absolutely dis-satisfied because of faculty, infrastructure and placements in 2016.

Placements: Placements of my batch were very poor. Only 22 people got selected in TCS from our whole batch. Companies which visited during my batch was Emicon advisory services and TCS. Emicon selected only one student from all branches. The highest package which was offered was 3.25lac and that too from TCS. Almost all students got internships but none of them were paid, because most of them were from either BSNL or from private institutions. Most of the students got placed but they were only through Off-...

Good placements and teachers.

Placements: Talking about placements, from our batch, around 30 students out of 80 were placed. The first company to visit our college was TCS and it recruited 22 students. And a few other companies also visited including Emicon and Syntel. Apart from that, the students attended the open pool campus and some of them were selected there.

Faculty members were good and the placements were average.

Placements: Only one company had come when I was studying in the college for all the branches and that was TCS. Approx. 10 students got selected and were offered a package of 3 LPA of which one student was from my branch. Now, he is in Hyderabad with a good salary package. I don't know about internships.

Our college is best in Kanpur belt among all the engineering colleges. It provides quality education which prepares us to do difficult jobs easily. Discipline is also good. Infrastructure is awesome having various facilities for hostlers like gymnasium, playgrounds, hospital, etc. An extra effort is done by the college administration by providing personality development classes so that students can meet the criteria for the multinational companies. One better thing is that college administratio...

It is good compared to other private colleges of the city, but has only TCS as their prime recruiters. I would not suggest anyone to go there. Some faculty is good but the rest are lucky to be teaching in an engineering college just like as any other private college of Gwalior.
