The TNEA application form 2025 for Mahath Amma Institute of Engineering and Technology admission to the BE/BTech courses will be released in May 2025. Soon, the TNEA 2025 schedule is expected to be released.
A few more updates are given below:
- The GATE 2025 admit card for admission to the MTech course will be available for download from Jan 7, 2025. Additionally, the GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.

As per the Mahath Amma Institute of Engineering and Technology fee structure, the fee for both UG and PG courses varies upon the specialisations and level of the programme. The lowest fee for Mahath Amma Institute of Engineering and Technology is INR 50,000 charged for M.E./M.Tech and the highest fee goes up to INR 2,00,000 for B.E. / B.Tech. Moreover, candidates need to pay additional components, such as hostel fees, mess and other security deposits, which are subject to the college. Mahath Amma Institute of Engineering and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engg./Industrial Engg/Automobile Engg./Marine Engg./Manufacturing Engg./Mechatronics/Manufacturing Engg./Manufacturing Tech./Aeronautical Engg./Production Tech./Aerospace Engg./Aerospace Tech./Mechanical and Automation Engg./Robotics & Automation. Candidate belonging to reserved category must have 45% in qualifying examination. Candidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. Candidates with B.E./B.Tech. degrees obtained through Distance/Weekend mode are not eligible. Candidates with degree obtained without studying 10th/12th Std. or 3 years degree programme are not eligible. Candidates appearing for the final semester/year are also eligible. |
