Commonly asked questions
On JEE Main Cutoffs

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Absolutely excellent college due to the good placements provided by the faculty.
Placements: In HSC, students who get 75% or above get admission to this college. The lowest package for freshers is INR 20,000 per month. So many companies came to the college to give placements. The total marks of the exam for every subject are 75; at least we must obtain 50+ marks to get a job or an internship.
Infrastructure: There are so many faculty members and infrastructure for courses, and separate departments are available. Computer labs and libraries are available for students. And the college provides free Wi-Fi for students to study. We have sports grounds available, and sports tournaments are also held.
Faculty: Teachers and all staff are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent, which is why students can understand easily. The college makes students ready for jobs. So there is no need to worry about work. There are semester-wise exams, but if you study, then exams are easy.
Other: So many events happen at the college. Regarding studies, the college is very enjoyable for students.

Infrastructure: Hostel is average but all the facilities are provided like Wi-Fi, fully functional labs, and very good classrooms. The quality of the hostel and mess is average. Medical facilities, sports, and games are good. Labs have the latest computers with the latest processors. All the classrooms are air-conditioned and well-equipped.
Faculty: Professors in our college are Ph.D. holders which is a minimum criterion for teaching. Mostly all the teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum makes students industry ready. Semester exams are a bit tough in the 3rd semester. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: Sport fest is conducted in our college. Extracurricular activities like coding competitions, rangoli, and many more are organised in our college.

It is a very good college.
Placements: About 70% of students got placed in various companies. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Capgemini. Around 30-40% of students got internships in Infosys, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides very good facilities and infrastructure. Free Wi-Fi and ethernet ports are available in the lab. Labs are fully maintained and very clean, so students can do their practicals without any hesitation. The food served in the hostel is good. It provides various food items.
Faculty: All teachers are very qualified and well-educated. They help students to solve their real-life problems. They do their best to teach students and guide them properly. Semester exams are not much difficult. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I opted for this course because I want to become a good software developer. The best thing about our course is coding and solving real-life problems. The overall campus is very good and has a very healthy atmosphere. Our college provides scholarships to all students.

I am not satisfied with this college.
Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed in our college. The average salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and other startup companies. Many students got off-campus placements. Students have not got internships from our college because teachers focus on semester subjects only and not on others.
Infrastructure: The library and computer labs are the best. The food served in the mess and canteen is average. Our college and teachers do not motivate us for sports. Wi-Fi is available in computer labs only. We can use it only on their computers. There is no gym in our college. Our playground is not good.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Some teachers teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, but it does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are relatively difficult in our college compared to other colleges.
Other: I opted for this course because of my parents' suggestions. Our college conducts events and fests. The connectivity is not good.
