Satisfied with the college, and it is AICTE approved college.

Placements: I got placed in a well-reputed company with a salary package of Rs. 15,000 per month. I know initially, the salary package is quite low, but it will increase eventually. Mahindra and other companies visit our campus for placements. Some students opt for M.Tech, so the placement rate decreases.

The placements are average. The college is good for studies.

Placements: The placements conducted by the college are poor. After B.Tech, many students from our department joined some private training institutes to get placed. The average salary package offered was Rs. 12,000 per month. Most of the students were not placed. There is a placement cell in our college.

The college is good to pursue the degree course.

Placements: The placements conducted by the college are low. A few students get placed, every year. Only 15-20 students out of 60 students, get placed, and the packages offered are not very high. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA. Companies from NCR region visit our campus to conduct placements.

The college is average, but still, not to forget, it is a government college.

Placements: Placements in the college are not that good. Last year, some of the students got placed in the campus placements with average salary packages. The students got placed with their own ability. Students get full support from the college, but there is some fault in the students as they don't put many efforts. The average salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Local and Chandigarh based companies visit the campus for placements.

The college is good for average students.

Placements: Placements provided in the college are average. All the deserving students get placed in the campus placements with good salary packages. Initially, the salary package offered would be around 2 LPA to 3 LPA, and later on, it will be increased. Chandigarh and NCR based companies visit our campus to conduct placements. The placement cell in the college is quite supportive to the students, and getting placed in the companies depends on the performance of the students.

Our college has good faculty and labs, but it lacks in providing the industry exposure.

Placements: Placements provided for the students of our batch are fine. In my batch, about 30% of the students got placed with the highest salary of 1.2 LPA. The lowest package offered was 1 LPA. Only nine companies visited our campus for placements. Trainee engineer roles are offered for the students at their respective places.

The college is good, and it is highly recommended to others.

Placements: Placements in the college are above average. Placements of my seniors were okay. Our seniors got placed at reputed companies with salary package around 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Around 40% of my senior students got placed on the campus. This year, our batch is going to face campus interviews. NCR companies visit our campus for placements.

Our college has nice Infrastructure, but the placements are average.

Placements: There are no placements in our college. I believe that our college has nothing to do with placements because the placements in our college depend on the calibre of students. I personally feel that we are not capable enough to get placed. Some students perform extremely well. They got placed in good companies in a good position.

Faculty are amazing, but the placements are bad.

Placements: Very few students get placed every year from our college. The students who got placed, also get offers from local firms present in Punjab. The college mainly focuses on the placements of engineering students. Not much attention is given to the students of B.Com. I advise you not to do B.Com in this college.

Review of Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology.

Placements: There are no placements in our college. I haven't seen any placements in 3 years of my college life. No one got placed in a good company with a good package. Even companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc., come to our college to conduct placements. They offered a package of Rs. 12,000 per month and the location of the job offered was in Delhi. No one can afford to live in Delhi with a salary of Rs. 12,000.

Placements in our college are very bad.

Placements: The packages offered for mechanical engineering students were the least compared to all other branches. The average package is 1 LPA. It is offered only for 6-7 students, and the rest of the students are jobless. There's no future after completing B.Tech in mechanical engineering from our college.

It is a good college, if you work hard.

Placements: Placements provided by the college are average. The college supports the students in all possible ways. But, the students couldn't perform up to the mark. I have seen many seniors getting placed in Infosys with a package of 5.6 LPA. Wipro, IBM and other companies present in Chandigarh, visit our campus to conduct placements.

I recommend you to join this college.

Placements: Placements depend on the calibre of the students. Some students are good at theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge. The college is supporting them in every possible way. The college recommends those students to the companies so that they get placed in very good firms. The average salary package offered was around 2-3 LPA. Companies like Infosys, IBM, etc., visit our campus to conduct placements.

I am dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: The placements conducted by our college are poor. The college doesn't give any assurance for placements. No student from the mechanical engineering department gets placed in a reputed company. Please don't take admission in this college and spoil your life.

Please stay away from this college. This college should be your last option.

Placements: Placements in our college are the worst. I haven't seen any one of our students being placed in a good company and in a good position. Some students got placed in Infosys and IBM, but they spent additional lakhs of rupees on training after completing their degree. There's no chance of placement in our college.

Satisfactory and an average college.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Students from our college got placed in various local firms in malout. Some got placed in infosys and ibm and in some other Delhi ncr based companies. Students pursuing M.Tech will also be placed at great places in near future. Average salary is around 1.5-2.5 lac per year.

It is a good college if you don't have any other options to choose.

Placements: I think the placements in our college are good if we consider the location of the college, which is in a small city. So, don't expect the same placements which occur in Chandigarh University. Around, 50-60% of the students get placed every year. But, the college keeps changing its tie-ups with the companies. So, the placement is not assured for everyone.

Overall, the college is average, and I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: The placements on the campus were good at our time. Some of the students got placed in IBM, Infosys, and Wipro. At that time, these reputed companies frequently visited our campus for placements, but year by year, the number of companies visiting the campus for placements is changing. Some local companies are also providing placements to students on the campus.

I do not recommend this college to any student.

Placements: The placements provided by the college are poor. Placements are not at all satisfactory. Local companies visit the college to conduct placements, and they offer very low salary packages. Few other companies visit our college, and even those companies don't offer high packages. The salary package offered by those companies was 1.5 LPA. I spoiled my life studying in this college.

Not satisfied with the placements in the college.

Placements: Placements for ME students are very poor in our college. Very few students were placed from our seniors batch. The packages offered by the companies are also very low. The companies that recruited students are local companies. The placements of other departments are better than that of mechanical.
