MIMIT is one of the 5 government colleges in Punjab under PTU. The infrastructure of the college is really good but the placements are below average. Some small companies from Chandigarh visit the campus for placements and offer salary packages of less than 2 LPA.

Before I took admission here, I was quite sceptical about the college as it lies in Malwa Region. However, once I took admission here and visited the campus, my opinion of the college changed. I think this is a great college and would also recommend it to others. The college will soon be accredited by NBA.

It is an average college, better if they give good placements to their students. Faculty members are always fighting with each other. And at the time of exams they will not help students to clear the exam. Graph of college is going down day by day. I recommend the management to do efforts for the college growth and make the students’ future bright.

Warning: Never take admission in this college. The faculty is very poorly trained and they will just focus on the books, not on the practical knowledge. This college says it is ranked 5 in Punjab, but it is not the truth and they do provide placements but for fake companies, which never give a good package. The serious matter is that the college is famous for its drug addiction. So please, I beg you, don't spoil your child’s career here.

Good for middle-class students.

Placements: There are average placements in this college. Mostly placements are in CSE. SD roles are offered in my course. 40% of students got internships. Wipro is the top recruiting company in my college. Almost students get placements in my college, there's good placement.

It is a nice, less expensive college.

Placements: The placement cell is awesome. The TPO in charge and the ATPO (different branch) help the students get placed in the MNCs and many other companies. They organize a career guidance program to educate the students about their careers. Last year, 80–85% of students were placed with good packages of INR 4-5 LPA. The highest package to date is INR 12 LPA.

College is good and there are all facilities for placements and good faculty available.

Placements: About 10 percent of students are placed in this course. The average package the companies are offering to students is in the range of 4-5 LPA. About ten to fifteen percent of students got internships from this course in companies like Wipro and TCS.

College is very well. Low expenses.

Placements: In my batch of 2021-2025, placement in the college has been good. In this college, many companies visit like Infosys, TCS, and many more. For placements, both teachers and seniors are very helpful. Since l am a student in this college so l would suggest to all students to take admissions in this college.

Good college, provides me good opportunity to learn and develop my self for my better future.

Placements: Every time 60-70% students were placed in our collage and the highest pack is 8 lacs per annum and the lowest pack is 2 lacs and average package is 3.5 lacs. Most companies are software companies and IT based companies. It is a government college so every time mostly every student get internship from my course and in good companies.

The college has very good infrastructure.

Placements: There are many placements at that time, and we are highly satisfied. Many MNCs visit our college, and our students got placed in companies at large salary packages. Our students learn to gain experience with great companies and the environment, and all the data are maintained properly.

This college is the best for all students who want a government degree and theoretical knowledge.

Placements: There is no scope for placements in the mechanical engineering branch in this college. You can get only a certificate of a government college, and practical knowledge is also not provided here. You get only theoretical knowledge. You never get campus placements in mechanical engineering in this college. There are campus placements for CSE and IT only, and the average starting salary package offered in these branches is approximately 5 LPA to 6 LPA. For mechanical, off-campus placements are avail...

Review of Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology.

Placements: Placements provided for students were below average. Most of the students did not accept the company offers because it was not good enough for an MBA student. But teachers were supportive and gave all their efforts to place students in companies.

It can be a better college if both faculty members and students work hard and smart.

Placements: The average salary package offered ranges from 2-3 LPA. Our seniors have received a compromisable package in the computer science course. Only local companies visit our college to provide jobs, and as freshers, students have to adjust with that package to get started with a job to gain some experience.
