Our college has a good faculty and infrastructure facilities.
Placements: Our course was the first batch of B.Voc, so the placements and packages for the course aren't known yet. However, we do have on-job training/internships during the semester break and also 2 semesters dedicated to just internships, which is a huge help. Our course is mainly graphic design and marketing-based, so those are the roles you could expect as an output from the course.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure that are available for our course are very good. We have 3 labs on our campus, UG, PG, and the Mac lab. The Mac lab is the more advanced ones, with high-end machines, where we can work any time we want after classes, or even if there's no class, we can still come and work there. The hostel is amazing. When I say amazing, I mean the hostel life. It's better than you could imagine. The food in the mess is decent, and we have a 24/7 ambulance available in case there's a medical situation. We have almost every sport in Manipal and we have an arena, which I believe is one of the best sports complexes in India.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and their way of teaching is also very fun. They are updated with the latest news and technology. Our course curriculum is relevant. It is more practical-based, which is indeed what our course should be like. However, in the end, it's on us to work and practise every day to polish ourselves to be industry-ready. The exams are decent, sometimes tough, but it's usually fun.
Other: I chose this course as I am a 3D artist and I also wanted to polish my skills in 2D and marketing tagged along with it, so I found it very interesting. The only thing I feel could be better is the timings. The sessional hours aren't long enough. We go to the labs to work after the classes are over every day. The campus life crowd is an experience in itself. Not to exaggerate, but the Manipal College experience is one of the best things you can have in life. It is literally one of the best things you could ask for, amazing people, an amazing place, and the best experience.
