MANIT life with some information.
Placements: In MANIT, in 2024, the percentage of students placed is 73%, and in 2023, it was 83.12%. In Mechanical, the highest package in 2024 is 19 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiters were HPCL, Bajaj, Hero, and Mahindra. Students also got internships in Hero and Mahindra-like companies. The top roles were in robotics and automation.
Infrastructure: In MANIT, there are lots of opportunities, like robotics clubs, and the mechanical department has a newly developed building. Labs have all the equipment, and it is a Wi-Fi-enabled department. The speed of Wi-Fi is around 80 Mbps. Some hostels have Wi-Fi facilities, while some have LAN-based systems. As I am in Hostel No. 4, it has a LAN system. At night, we have night canteen facilities. We have a basketball court and a badminton court. We also have a dispensary in the college, which is free of cost. However, the quality of hostel food is very bad, so be a day scholar if possible.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers of this college have degrees as well as knowledge, but they don’t know how to teach. In our class, teachers try to show their talent but are not successful. In the first year, they teach subjects like Biology and Environmental Science, which are useless in engineering. Semester exams were easy, not so difficult. If you have subject knowledge, you can score above-average marks in the class. The CGPA of the college is relatively moderate.
Other: I chose this course because I like machines. I got a rank of 30,175 in JEE Main and got the mechanical branch in MANIT. The best thing about this course is that I learn robotics, and I get jobs in core companies. They also provide practical knowledge instead of theoretical knowledge, but they always focus on theoretical knowledge. Doing assignments is the worst. The events were very good, like Maffick. In 2024, celebrities like Holyc, and Stabin Ben were invited. MANIT also has a Hindi fest called Tooranad, which is awesome.

Why you should NIT Bhopal? And why this NIT is different from other NITs?
Placements: I am a first-year student of the metallurgy branch from NIT Bhopal. Last year, i.e. 2023, there was an 81% placement rate with an average placement of 10.17 Lacs. All these details are clearly mentioned on the official website of NIT Bhopal. The highest placement was 35 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are JSW, NALCO, IREL (India) limited, Jindal Steel, Reliance Industries Limited, Vedanta, Flipkart, Meesho, EXL, Decimal Point, Juspay, and many more.
Infrastructure: There are separate beautiful buildings for all departments. And, all facilities are available from the auditorium to digital classrooms (big projector with good quality speakers). Free Wi-Fi is also available in the whole department along with the classrooms. The library is not in any of the departments because a separate central library is there on the campus. All facilities are also available in each and every hostel with washing machines, water coolers with purifiers, showers and geysers, and big mirrors in each washroom. From this year every hostel has also been provided with vending machines. Food quality is awesome. For their inspection, a committee of students of that hostel is also made. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner are given on time. Campus dispensary with ambulance is available free of cost. For sports facilities, a huge sports complex is also here with separate football ground, cricket ground, many basketball, volleyball, and badminton grounds, a proper kabaddi ground, yoga hall, and a big gym with all equipment. All indoor games are available with Table tennis, chess, carrom board, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and they have much subjective knowledge with experience. And, their teaching qualities are also very unique. I think all subjects are curriculum relevant like biological engineering, environmental engineering, etc. And they truly make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately tough but the exam questions never come from the material which is not taught in the class. The pass percentage in the college is around 97%.
Other: I chose this college because it is a NIT college because in NIT colleges there is a startup culture and here students always think with a different approach. So I preferred a lower branch in NIT Bhopal to other private or government colleges' upper branches based on my JEE rank. Events and fests are very enthusiastic and here every month a fest comes like Tooryanaad which is India's largest cultural fest, Maffick which is also one of the largest fest of India with EDM night, Street, and many more. Scholarships are also available.

Great placements and internships.
Placements: Before the recession period, almost 80–85% of the students were placed, with the average package being around 19.3 Lacs per annum and the highest package being 82 LPA. The top recruiting companies visit the campus which includes Atlassian, Google, Adobe, Microsoft, DE Shaw, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really poor in comparison with the other colleges. Although most of the facilities, like the library, Wi-Fi, etc., are available, the maintenance part is really bad. The food we get in the hostel is okay.
Faculty: The teachers present over here are highly qualified for their positions. Although they don't pay much attention to the teaching portion,. Most of the preparation is done by the students themselves. The curriculum adopted by UGC is also not that relevant. The semester exams depend on the faculty in charge.
Other: The fests take place three times in a single year, which is a really great thing, with many big names performing at the events.

My experience at this institute has been good. This institute is well-reputed.
Placements: The faculty here is good. Some teachers explain concepts thoroughly, similar to how we are taught in school. But, some teachers will only presentations, quickly flipping through slides, making it harder to understand. All faculty members are highly experienced and have completed their PhD. In terms of academics during the first semester, students are divided into two sections. Some study computer-related subjects, while others focus on EVs and other subjects. In the second semester, the courses are interchanged between the two groups. Currently, I am studying EVs but from the second semester, I will begin studying computer science subjects which will be more interesting as a CSE student.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. There are tall buildings and many auditoriums. Every branch has its department. Buildings are well-managed. There are large grounds for big gatherings and a sports complex that offers almost every game except swimming. It includes a cricket ground, football ground, badminton courts, tennis courts and a Kabaddi mat. One can play almost every game here. Campus has Nescafe, a canteen, a shopping complex, a barber shop, laundry services, a general store, stationery shops and 2–3 places to eat and enjoy with friends. There is a dispensary, and the construction of a hospital has started. Campus also provides e-buses for students. Hostel facilities are good. In the first year, students are provided with two-seater rooms and some stay in three-seater rooms. Rooms are equipped with a bed, chair, almirah, and table, along with balconies in alternate rooms. The mess is pretty good, with food that is decent overall. Some dishes are average and others are good. Grounds are provided for playing tennis, cricket, basketball, and volleyball. For indoor games, students have access to chess, carrom, and table tennis. Hostels also have fully automatic washing machines.
Faculty: The faculty here is good. Currently, I am studying EVs but from the second semester, I will begin studying computer science subjects. Which will be more interesting as a CSE student.
Other: Campus life here is amazing. We arrived in August and so far, we have experienced two fests. One was Tooryanaad in September and the other is Maffick, recently held from 18–20 October. Maffick is our favorite. Stebin Ben performed live and vibe is incredible. There are numerous clubs, covering almost every interest. While I don’t know all of them yet, I know a few. For entrepreneurship, there is E-Cell. For space exploration, there is Star Labs and Space Incubation Centre. Roobaroo Club focuses on music, singing, dancing, and more. One will surely enjoy campus life to the fullest.

MANIT Bhopal was established in 1960, and my experience here has been pleasant.
Placements: Placements here are pretty good. The average salary package offered is approximately 15 LPA - 16 LPA. The average salary package offered in the CSE department is 26 LPA. The highest salary package offered in 2023 is 82 LPA. Almost 91% of students got placed in the CSE department.
Infrastructure: The hostel life in Manit, Bhopal is enjoyable. The hostel provides an ethernet or Wi-Fi facility in each room. The institute has great infrastructure. The academic building is old but still looks beautiful. The CSE department shifted to a new building, and a sports complex has also been established. All classrooms are well-equipped with projectors. The sports complex and gym cannot be used by first-year students.
Faculty: All professors are well-educated. Each has a different personality. Some are friendly, and some are not. They welcome new ideas from students and help them explore more of the available resources in the college. Overall, all teams are very good. All professors are helpful.
Other: Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology organises a cultural fest named Mafic and a technical fest named Techno. Clubs in the college are exciting and campus life is enjoyable and burden free.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
