Review of Mathabhanga Government Polytechnic.
Placements: About 50% of students get placements at this college. The highest salary offered in this course is Rs. 18000 per month, the lowest is Rs. 11,000 per month to Rs. 12,000 per month, and the average is Rs. 14,000 per month to Rs. 15,000 per month. Many companies, like Tata, Wipro, Samsung, etc., visit here. About 55%-60% of students got internships from this course.
Infrastructure: Facilities are excellent. The infrastructure of the college is very good. It has many lab equipments, important machines, Wi-Fi, and a library. Classrooms are good and clean. The hostel and mess are good. Sports like volleyball and badminton are played.
Faculty: Teachers are the best thing about this college. They treat us like family. They are very knowledgeable, and their teaching qualities are very good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are hard, but not very hard. The percentage is 80%–85%.

I am very satisfied with this college, which has very good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: About 80% of students were placed in the previous year. Electronics and telecom companies offered a maximum salary package of 2 LPA and a minimum salary package of 1.5 LPA. In the previous year, Rikon India came to our college. Some of our seniors were also placed at Mahindra. Almost 30% of students got internships in the previous year. Roles offered by companies are junior engineer, telecom engineer, executive engineer, electronics mechanic, supervisor, etc.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available in the computer lab. It has a programming lab to learn C, Python, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc. It has a library, an electrical lab, an electronics lab, and sports materials. There is no hostel.
Faculty: It has the best teachers. They are very helpful. Hands-on practical training is provided. Doubt-solving classes are conducted. In this course, we learn things that are relevant to the industry. We learn programming. We learn about what we have to do for our companies after we are placed. If you attend regular classes, then don't worry about exams. The pass percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion. There are events like Saraswati Puja, Viswakarma Puja, freshers' welcome ceremony, social ceremony, Teachers Day, Basant Utsav, farewell, etc. Scholarships like Oasis, Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship, etc., are available.
