Madras Christian College: a colorful experience .

Placements: According to the seniors, the placement solely depends on your merit, but again, the college has enough exposure for each course, so it's easy for placements and applying. The college is ranked in the top 10, and the companies do prioritize the college, and they even conduct internship fairs for students to apply.

Culture at the core: A college with a long legacy.

Placements: In my Department (Political Science), most students go for higher studies. Only a few opt for placements. Anyhow, internship and placement opportunities are actively circulated among students from their second year. The placement cell in our college does a good job of conducting seminars on the same for students from all departments. Campus recruitment is also available. But mostly only the students from departments like BBA and B. Com will make use of it.

The college where one can have college life.

Placements: Placements are available but students' strength is more in our college. There is a tough race in placement. Everyone will be placed for internship in finance and marketing sectors. Recruits would be EY, Capgemini, Sicame, Byju, ZOHO, TCS, Sixtel, Wipro, Accenture, Tremp Technologies and Services, CSS Corp, Qway technologies, and IndusInd Bank.

It is a beautiful lush green campus with professional staff members and lots of fun.

Placements: I don't know about placements as I am a first-year student. However, as far as I have heard and observed, placements are good but not excellent nor not bad. It all depends on how you work throughout college and how much hard work you do. However, I have some senior friends who got placed really well and are MCC graduates. Our college also offers student exchange programs.

Placements: I am pursuing M.Sc. Physics at this college. Our college doesn't promise campus interviews for jobs or internships. But the knowledge we gained is useful in appearing for national level examinations for further research and development which is vital for a pure science enthusiast.

Placements: An average of 20% of students got placed in our course. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 15,000 per month to Rs. 25,000 per month. Accenture, Wipro, RBS, Calvin & Klein visit our campus for recruitment. Executive roles, roles in human resource management, data entry roles, etc., are offered. So no students went for internships in companies.

Overall, the college is good in terms of academics.

Placements: On-campus placements for journalism students are not that regular and often. Few companies like Reuters do come for recruiting graduates, but the students don't turn up for interviews. Apart from on-campus placements, most of the students go for jobs and works of their own choice. Few go for freelancing, few go for post graduation etc. So, in terms of campus placements for journalism students, the college is not very good. But, a compulsory internship has to be done for 60 days during the 6th se...
