I am absolutely satisfied by MCKV Institute of Engineering.

Placements: I am from the last year batch, 2023, and currently, I am in the IT department. In my college, the package ratio is average, but some students got a good package from the campus. The curriculum is quite old, as with other colleges, but overall it provides a good experience.

I am not satisfied with the campus, and the teaching language must be either English or Hindi.

Placements: In our college, almost all students are placed. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, etc., visit our campus. Around 60% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA.

I am very satisfied with placements of our college.

Placements: Our college's name was MCKV Institute of Engineering. It was a private college, but as a college, it was nice. I chose Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. We know this stream is mostly very popular in the IT sector, which means most of the students got placed in the IT Sector. In our college, about 65-75% of students were placed through on-campus and off-campus opportunities. For on-campus placements, some well-known startup companies visited our college for placements. It is an average college, but you have to adjust a lot.

Placements: Our college claimed that placements are 100%, but it depends on students. If students are hardworking, then they can get placed. The main recruiting company is TCS. There is no scope for internships through the college, and if you want to do it, you have to do it from other sources. Software development roles are offered here.

It is a private college in West Bengal.

Placements: About 60-70% of the students from our course got placed in service-based companies. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro, etc., visit our college for placements. Very few students got internship opportunities from government and semi-government companies. Few students got selected as a trainee and intern.

Dissatisfied because of low placements and less value for money.

Placements: Most of the students were not placed through on-campus recruitment. Most companies came with low packages like 10,000-12,000 per month, while one or two offered 6 LPA. Mahindra and Mahindra and Madhus Garage Equipment were the top recruiters. None of the students got an internship.

Satisfied with the teachers that they provide help whenever asked for.

Placements: I am from CSE (data science) batch 2021-2024. This is an average college for placements. Hardly the top companies visit here. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA. Mass recruiters came to our college, like TCS, Wipro etc. No product-based companies came here.

I am not satisfied because of the placements offered by college.

Placements: Only a few companies visit our college. Most of the students are not placed. Almost 40% of students get placed from college. The average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Only 10 to 20% of the students get internships from college as they do not provide much internship opportunities. Top recruiting companies of our college are TCS, Cognizant, etc.

Great for average students.

Placements: It is quite average in placement. But if you are good and with great fortune you can get placed. I am placed in TCS with pool campusing. In my batch 78 got placed among 360 till now. It matters to know here you stand to get placed. There are many startups which come for placement.

A good college with good faculty, but poor placements.

Placements: The placements are very poor. The college will not give you many chances. Just 2-3 core companies will come, and then, its all upon yourself to get placed. My experience is pathetic. Study and classes are good. The placement is not at all.

Decent infrastructure and satisfied experience.

Placements: Good companies come in for placements, but they don't take many students. They keep a lower window. The highest salary offered was around 4 LPA. There wasn't much to choose from when it comes to the profile. I am from automobile, but had interest in IT and got that offer without much trouble. One gets to know information about off-campus placements also.

The college is average, but provides better options.

Placements: The placements are average. Even though, I was lucky enough to grab a job in TCS. I was a student of the electrical branch. I would advise you to enrol in CSE, ECE or IT streams, as 80% to 90% companies are related to software. Hence your chances of getting a job in those streams are more. Placements through core streams like electrical, mechanical or automobile are tough.

The college is average because the placements aren't great, but you will score good marks for sure.

Placements: The placements aren't great in this college due to the recent incidents in the college. Around 30-40% of the students are selected, and 10% of the students are satisfied with their placements. The highest stipend paid is around Rs. 15,000 per month, and the lowest is around Rs. 5,000. The students from the mechanical or tech sides get the jobs.

MCKV Institute of Engineering.

Placements: I think the placement of my college is dependent on individual marks in their UG and up to 12. If you have 60% average in academics, you will have a placement chance. You will have to have got a good results in internal, so that you can get good marks in the semester. Getting into your college is not a big factor. Placement should be improved.

Good placements in 2016 which raise our hopes.

Placements: In the last 2-3 years, the placement record of this college is not good. Only IT companies have visited there and few core companies. Major recruiters are TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc. The highest package offered was from Mahindra and Mahindra, i.e. 5.6 lakhs per annum. The students also got their job from ISHRAE job junction. Many companies like Cummins, Grind Master, TATA AIG, Capgemini, Think and Learn, etc. comes in pool campus.

Satisfied with the faculty of CSE

Placements: Placements of our seniors were not good and they were not happy as i had talked to some of them. I don't know the exact ratio but as the college has said, 4 companies will come in the end of September. I don't know the names and this is sure that at least 4 companies will visit. I am from the CSE department so I know that most of our seniors have got a position as associate software engineer. Previous year, the salary offered was 4.5 lakhs per year and my sister got it in Bosch The average was a...
