The college is very good .

Placements: Many students got placed. Currently, I am in 2nd year, so I don't have knowledge about the highest and the lowest package. Infosys is the top recruiting company for the course. Only those students who have confidence and capability got placed. I don't know the exact proportion. Roles depend on your course.

Overall the college is good.

Placements: The placements are not given much by the college. The placement cell does manage to organize some meetings and seminars for students, but we cannot wholly depend on college placements for our future job scope. I haven't heard of any recruitment company.

The studies and crowd are good, but the infrastructure and placements are not good.

Placements: Very few students were placed. I don't know about packages. Very few students got internships. Students usually go for higher studies after bachelor's, so they don't go for placements. I am doing a bachelor's, so I don't know much about placements at our college yet, but packages are not high.

Absolutely dissatisfied due to no good placements.

Placements: The college's growth prospects are limited, with a predominant emphasis on cultural activities. Unfortunately, the opportunities for good and valuable placements are virtually nonexistent. The college's placement record is highly unsatisfactory and requires significant improvement by 2026.

Great faculty, average hostel life.

Placements: There are no on-campus placements here, but they prepare you quite well to apply for off-campus placements. Kiran Bedi is one of our alumni, and she has demonstrated the values that the college provides. Placement should not be the reason for not choosing MCM DAV.

I'm very dissatisfied with the placements which are provided by the college.

Placements: Honestly, MCM DAV College for women does not provide any good placements, even for the toppers; the placements that are provided are very low-quality. I would never prefer any college that does not provide good placements, especially for B.Com.

Good infrastructure, mixed review for faculty, don't count too much for placements.

Placements: The placement for the B.A. department is very poor. I'm pursuing my B.A. Hons in Psychology and there seem to be no placement opportunities for our department. For other departments there are some placements but those are also very few and not satisfactory .

It is a good college with holistic experience and facilities.

Placements: In our college, there were no placements. One has to look for placements outside, and they look mostly for BPO jobs or government job exams, especially UPSC and IAS exams, central government staff selection commission exams, or state government exams.

Review of MCM DAV College for Women.

Placements: Almost no placements are given related to our course. There are certain drives going on otherwise, which are not related to our course anyhow. The top recruiting company is Decathlon, but it is related to sports and sportspersons.

This college has great facilities to learn and grow.

Placements: About 85% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package was 2.5 LPA. The top recruiters are multinational companies. About 40% to 50% of students get internships. The top roles offered in our course are counselor and psychologist. The lowest salary package was Rs. 15,000 per month.

It is a good college to groom yourself, but they won't provide many opportunities.

Placements: There are always a few placement opportunities for B.Sc. students. However, MCM can provide you with a job with an average salary package of 3 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, visit the campus to recruit B.Sc. students. Mainly sales job profile are offered for the students of MCM.

The college experience was not that good as there were fewer opportunities in case of placements.

Placements: When we were in our last year, no job fest and no placements were conducted. None of the companies visits our college during my tenure. When we were in the 1st year, job fest was conducted. But the companies that visit our campus were mostly related to banks that offered sales profiles.

I will rate it as an average college.

Placements: Our college didn't provide any placements for our students. Only one company visited the college, and that was Concentrix. MCM lacks abilities to place its students in good companies. But after a year of our batch, Ernst and Young visited the campus with a package of 3.5 LPA. I was not satisfied with the way the placement committee works at MCM college.

Ya I can say that it provides a good platform for girls education.

Placements: There were many students from our batch that got placed not only intercity but also outside Chandigarh too. Many companies approached our batch and we did different interviews with them. But they needed the best ones, so the best ones got placed. Mcm is the best platform for girls.

Fairly satisfied with the college.

Placements: My placement experience was not good. Most of the companies were BPOs. None of my friends got placed. No one in my batch got any internship, with or without stipend. We didn't have any sort of interaction with the placement cell.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placements were very few during my tenure. IBM company conducted interviews in the college. The average salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month. Students were offered jobs of secretaries to well-reputed companies. The other roles like managers were also offered. The placement cell also helps the students in getting placed.

Placements: KPMG, E&Y and other finance and accounting firms offered placements. The average packages offered were 4 Lacs pa. The job role offered to the students are bookkeeping, accounting, financing, voice operations, etc. I am not sure whether any placements cell exists or not because we have never contacted them.

An average college with a rude staff.

Placements: There is a placement cell which is quite active throughout the year. Notices and circulars related to placement drives are circulated very efficiently. A number of companies do come for interviews and tests but of all the students who try their luck, only a few, say 20% get jobs. They offer a starting salary of maximum 20,000 per month. There are a lot of companies who hold placement drives for call centres. Also, if you clear exams like UGC NET the college welcomes you with open arms to begin y...
