Really beautiful infrastructure and supportive faculty.

Placements: I'm doing B.Com. honours from Guru Gobind Singh College for women. There are 4 sections of B.Com. 60 students in each section. The highest placement in 2022 is 150+ students placed with banks and finance companies. Some students are placed in digital marketing roles with some other companies, some in teaching roles in institutes. There are fewer internship opportunities, but mostly full-time job opportunities provided by the college.

Placement drives are there, and teachers are good and helping in nature.

Placements: Many of the students got placed. In the management line, they got their job. Bachelors of Commerce was my course, and most of the students in the course have their career in management only. Campus provides all facilities for one to appear and get the best out of the best.

GGSCW is a good college, and all the faculty members are very nice.

Placements: Job fairs are not organised in this college during my tenure. Students may attend other placement avenues which I am not aware. Therefore, I would recommend that our college should make some improvements in this aspect so that students can get benefit from it.

College is good for studies and also for extracurricular activities.

Placements: 40-50% students got internship from our course. In a year 1-2 times private companies came for the internship. There should be more recruitment so that student will look forward to get admission in this college to fulfill their dreams and achieve what they really want.

It has good infrastructure, cooperative teachers and provides various facilities.

Placements: This college did not provide placements. For B.Com students, there were no campus placements. There are no criteria in Panjab University to organise campus placements for B.Com graduate students. Only some students got internships in this college.

Review of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women.

Placements: About 70-80% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary package is offered to the students. The college placement cell organises placements every year, in which different companies visit the campus to recruit students. Less percentage of students get an internship at the college.

Good faculty, infrastructure is fine, no placements and no extracurricular activities.

Placements: The placement rate is really low. Even if you have scored well. Then also chances of getting placed are really low. Only a few get placed. Rest college is good. A few companies come for recruitment. And a few got internships from my college. So, choose wisely.

The college has a really good infrastructure.

Placements: None of the companies has visited for the placement drive, in our college at my time and I don't know what would be the situation right now. The students have to be on their own to get any job. I think this is the only thing that this college needs to improve.

Nice college for the aspiring students indeed.

Placements: The placement scenario in the college is not very good. Hardly any student gets placed from the campus. Not even the renowned companies visit the college premises for recruitment purposes. But the college has a placement cell represented by the faculty members of the college only and some strategies must be implemented by them for the betterment of the students.

Reputed and renowned college in Chandigarh.

Placements: The college has an official placement cell which is headed by the staff members within the college itself. Job consultants frequently visit the campus and create awareness among the students about the changing job scenarios. Moreover the students also get a chance to express their views as to what are their career prospects and job aspirations.

Satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placements were not conducted by the college authority. Students wanted to go for higher studies and mostly after M.Com, students gave UGC NET exam for qualification as a Lecturer in colleges and Universities. Internships were also not provided by the college. Extra classes were conducted by the college itself for free of cost for the students pursuing UGC NET.
