Placements: 60 or above students get placements. We can do anything after this course because we have many options. We can work for many companies. We work under politics and we study also politics to achieve our goals, like someone who wants to become a lawyer, advocate, judge, etc. If somebody wants to become an offices but wants to clear an entrance exams like UPSC, etc.
Placements: I'm doing B.Com. honours from Guru Gobind Singh College for women. There are 4 sections of B.Com. 60 students in each section. The highest placement in 2022 is 150+ students placed with banks and finance companies. Some students are placed in digital marketing roles with some other companies, some in teaching roles in institutes. There are fewer internship opportunities, but mostly full-time job opportunities provided by the college.
Placements: 30% of students get placements through this college, and many of them come to the college according to their aggregate percentage and their activeness. There are also visits by highly-known companies for internship purposes. The highest packages are 2 lakhs and the lowest are 50k.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is growing day by day. They have collaboration with many companies. Many students got placed in our course. Almost 80% of students got placed in our college. Many companies visit our college. They provide various job roles.
Placements: Many students from this college got placed in good companies. Along with placement they provide an internship opportunities in good companies. But not all the students got placed. In B.Com department there is no placement on campus.
Placements: Many of the students got placed. In the management line, they got their job. Bachelors of Commerce was my course, and most of the students in the course have their career in management only. Campus provides all facilities for one to appear and get the best out of the best.
Placements: Job fairs are not organised in this college during my tenure. Students may attend other placement avenues which I am not aware. Therefore, I would recommend that our college should make some improvements in this aspect so that students can get benefit from it.
Placements: 40-50% students got internship from our course. In a year 1-2 times private companies came for the internship. There should be more recruitment so that student will look forward to get admission in this college to fulfill their dreams and achieve what they really want.
Placements: Many students from this college got placed in good companies. Along with placements, they also provide good internship opportunities. The average salary package is offered in our course. Students got an internship in our course. HR manager, intern and manager roles are offered in our course.
Placements: This college did not provide placements. For B.Com students, there were no campus placements. There are no criteria in Panjab University to organise campus placements for B.Com graduate students. Only some students got internships in this college.
Placements: About 70-80% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary package is offered to the students. The college placement cell organises placements every year, in which different companies visit the campus to recruit students. Less percentage of students get an internship at the college.
Placements: The placement rate is really low. Even if you have scored well. Then also chances of getting placed are really low. Only a few get placed. Rest college is good. A few companies come for recruitment. And a few got internships from my college. So, choose wisely.
Placements: No job fests organised in this college in my three year-span. No information provided about the placements. The students may be attending other placement avenues which are not to my knowledge. Therefore, I would recommend some of the improvement in this aspect so that the students can take benefit of their college.
Placements: None of the companies has visited for the placement drive, in our college at my time and I don't know what would be the situation right now. The students have to be on their own to get any job. I think this is the only thing that this college needs to improve.
Placements: The placement scenario in the college is not very good. Hardly any student gets placed from the campus. Not even the renowned companies visit the college premises for recruitment purposes. But the college has a placement cell represented by the faculty members of the college only and some strategies must be implemented by them for the betterment of the students.
Placements: The college has an official placement cell which is headed by the staff members within the college itself. Job consultants frequently visit the campus and create awareness among the students about the changing job scenarios. Moreover the students also get a chance to express their views as to what are their career prospects and job aspirations.
Placements: Placements were not conducted by the college authority. Students wanted to go for higher studies and mostly after M.Com, students gave UGC NET exam for qualification as a Lecturer in colleges and Universities. Internships were also not provided by the college. Extra classes were conducted by the college itself for free of cost for the students pursuing UGC NET.
My college is competitive mix of 950-1200 students. Seniors are supportive. There's no ragging. Average packages are around Rs 12.40 lakhs p.a. and go up to Rs. 22 lakhs p.a. Examples of campus recruiters: Amazon, Google, P&G, ITC, Airtel, and Flipkart thanks to my college.
Placements: Around 10% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 2 LPA to 3 LPA and the lowest salary package is 1 LPA to 2 LPA. Around 10-15% of students get internships in our course at Touchstone Logistics, etc. The roles offered were junior leader, sales executive, teaching in the IELTS department, etc.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed in the course. The placement was really good. The highest package was Rs 5 LPA, the lowest package was 2 LPA and the average was 3 LPA. 60% of students got internships. The top recruiting companies of our college are Tata and Amazon. The top role offered is as a manager.
