Medical College Kolkata Cutoff 2024: NEET PG Round 1 (Out)

The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Medical College has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses under general category for all India quota was 572. The MCC has released NEET UG Counselling 2023 schedule on the official website at mcc.nic.in. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) released the NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment on Jul 30. Additionally, NEET UG Round 2 Seat Allotment will be released on Aug 18. Institute reporting, document verification and joining by the candidate for NEET UG Round 2 Seat Allotment will be held between Aug 20 and Aug 28. NTA released the re-revised scorecard on July 26, 2024. In this scorecard, the score has been revised as per the Supreme Court verdict of removing the bonus marks awarded earlier for the controversial Physics question, and deducting one mark from those who marked incorrect answer options. The city and centre-wise result data such as number of candidates appeared and scores obtained, by masking candidates' personal data was released on July 21, as per the Supreme Court order given on the hearing dated July 18, 2024. The NEET 2024 result for the re-exam, which was conducted on June 23, was declared on July 1, day day after the slated date. The final answer keys for the NEET 2024 re-exam was released by June 30, ahead of the result declaration. Earlier, the result of NEET 2024 was declared by NTA on June 4, 2024, 10 days ahead of the original schedule, which was June 14, 2024. NTA released the final NEET answer keys on June 4, prior to the release of the NEET result 2024. The NEET result was declared in an online mode. Candidates have to log in with their registration credentials or application number and date of birth, and download their scorecard in PDF format. NTA also released the merit list containing the name, Roll Number, All India Rank and Percentile of the candidates. Along with the NEET 2024 scorecard, NTA also released the NEET 2024 cutoff marks or the qualifying marks/scores. 

NTA has released NEET 2023 results on Jun 13. Canidates who have appeared for the exam can check the NEET UG 2023 results and donwload scorecards online by following the step-by-step procedure mentioned below: 
Step 1: Visit the official website of NEET 2023 at neet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the tab indicating 'the latest News' having 'NEET (UG) 2023 Score Card' text or visit the candidate activity section available on the bottom left of the page.

Step 3: On choosing any one option mentioned in Step 2, you will be directed to three links to download scorecard. Click any one link.   

Step 4: On the next page, log in with NEET 2023 application number or date of birth and enter security pin.

Step 5: Download and save NEET 2023 scorecard in PDF format. 

For 2022, cut off was 1855 for General category candidates in All India quota for MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in Medical College. NEET cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Medical College other than General category are - 3911 for OBC, 18762 for SC, 62264 for ST, 5192 for EWS, 344098 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State.

Medical College will release 4-5 rounds of NEET cutoffs for admission to medical courses. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

• The NEET score of the candidate
• The category of the candidate
• The number of seats available in the course
