Apart from this, MGM Institute’s University Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics students are trained to provide services to the Divyangjan of society with an integral approach. MGM UDPO Infrastructure
MGM Institute’s University Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics campus provides a proper learning environment to students and offers several facilities to them. The college has well-equipped classrooms with seating capacity of 30 students per classroom. Further, the classrooms are designed in a manner to prevent sound intrusion from adjacent spaces and has overhead LCD projectors. MGM UDPO Prosthetics and Orthotics Labs are highly advanced and can accommodate a batch of 30 students. The labs are equipped with water sprinklers and fire extinguisher, placed at appropriate distances.
The Prosthetics Lab includes an examination couch for patient seating, a separate area for casting and measurements, spacious working tables, and a storage space. Elsewhere, the Orthotic Lab is equipped with two sewing machines, storage area for student submissions, and an advanced ORFIT oven to accommodate patients with short-notice requirements. Apart from this, the college has a central library, huge cafeteria, separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, and sports facility.
