I think this college, from a placement point of view, isn't good.

Placements: Over all, 68 to 80% of students were placed in my course. Our college didn't have any companies coming for jobs in the civil department. In other departments, there were a few companies that offered something like INR 3–4 lacs per annum—not much!

Our college is very good, and conducts nice events.

Placements: Most of the students get high packages in MGMCET. Companies like JSW, Tata, and Reliance visit here, and most of the companies are good for college placements and internships. The college is also good for internships, good placements, and packages.

Good environment but bad teaching.

Placements: 1. About 30 to 40 percents were placed in campus interview. 2. Salary offered was from 2 LPA to 3 LPA. The highest 3LPA, the lowest 2LPA, Average 2.5 LPA 3. Companies who visited us were Tikona, Sutherland, Reliance Jio. 4. There are many roles for an Electronics engineer. If you want to go into core then there are roles in networking, switching, telecom services, electrical branch and so on. 5. The highest 3LPA, the lowest 2 LPA, Average 2.5 LPA 6. MGM best for just degree seekers not placement.

Placements: The companies visited were having common intake for all branches. And JD was too common for all streams No one from our batch went for job offers. No campus interviews for EXTC. Moderate package was given to us. It is good. For the students with moderate marks. Admission is easy here.

Disappointed with the Institutes placement and information in 2016, has potential for improvements.

Placements: For the batch passing out in 2016, about 10 percent of the students were placed from the Mechanical Division. The highest salary package was 4LPA and the lowest package offered was 1.5 LPA. The average package offered was around the 2LPA mark. Top recruiting firm was Apart industries. Top role offered was of Quality Engineer. Internships were not on offer from the college.

Students can take admission in it if there isn't any other college left.

Placements: Placements are top-notch if you are willing to work for mass recruiters. No core companies visit the campus for civil, mechanical and electrical branches. Students either have to participate in pool campus placement drives conducted in other colleges or have to apply individually on the company sites. Students of EXTC, computer and IT branches have chances of getting placed. The biomedical branch has excellent placement results. Biotech and chemical students have to try their luck outside too. According to my opinion, the college is good for civil engineering.

Placements: Placements for the civil department are very poor than other departments because companies for civil engineering are very few nowadays. Hence, there is a shortage of placements in MGM college. But, the faculty members are trying to bring companies to offer placements. They conduct various seminars for that.

I have experienced lots of good and bad things in my four years of engineering.

Placements: Until last year, placements in our college were good. Most of the students got placed in good companies, but this year, it is not the same. Students are still waiting for a good chemical company to visit the campus. Until now, none of the chemical companies has visited the campus for placements. The companies which visited the campus are not related to our field. There is a lack of management or proper coordination in the TnP cell.

The college is good, but if you get an opportunity in any other college, then better join that only.

Placements: The placement session was good. Only 1 student from 2nd shift and 6 students from shift were placed. The salary offered was the same for all, 3.11 LPA. Only Marathon company visits the campus. The students were offered GET (graduate engineer trainee). No single internship was offered by the college. But, we used to visit an industry or train hub twice a year. The college has a placement cell, but it is not much useful.

It is not a great college for placements.

Placements: The placements for our batch were not that great. Very few students got placed. The highest package was offered by Whirlpool, of around 6 LPA. The companies that visited the campus were Sutherland, Jio, and Whirlpool occasionally. The roles offered to students were a Java developer, junior engineer, etc. The internship wasn't offered by the college, students had to apply for it on their own. Since the internships were not offered by the college, no stipend was offered. There is a placement cell ...

Faculty are helpful for students.

Placements: Placements of the college is quite good for computer engineering, the MNC companies like TCS, INFOSYS, Congnizant are visits in college placement. They provide good package. Also they provide the internship with stipend. But some students are placed but average students are searching job outside.

Satisfied with the college as it has good placements, infrastructure, and faculty.

Placements: In civil engineering, different types of companies are offering placements in our college, so I'm glad that the aim of the college is to provide good placements. The college works hard to provide placements for all the students, and students give their best.

Our college provides moderate education and some opportunities for computer and IT branch.

Placements: Placements were good for computer engineering and information technology departments in our college. Core companies also visited for the civil department. For our course, companies like Infosys, TCS, Gate, Larsen And Toubro, Infotech, Oracle, etc., visit our college for placements. The role of a software engineer was offered with a salary package ranging between 2.0 LPA-3.5 LPA.

Dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: The first batch of the electrical department has no placement. I don't know about other departments, but I never heard about placement during my batch. They only hire people who teach us how to prepare for a job (just heard about it but I never seen). They are unable to bring the companies for placements.

It's a B grade college. No placements, please don't join this college it would ruin your future.

Placements: There are no placements. I repeat there are no placements. Hardly 2-3 companies visit for placements and they hire only 2-3 people. Placements Branch wise: Comps/IT - only 2 companies visited. Extc/electrical - No core companies came for placements. Mechanical/civil/biotechnology - NA for placements. All this happens just because of poor placement officer. Who even don't know how to bring companies to campus. One more thing here Principal doesn't care about it. It's request to AICTE kindly shut ...

It is a good college only if you are going for the degree.

Placements: Placements are very rare. This college is good only for the biomedical branch for placements. Even for civil, it is good. But the fees are too high for open category students. Otherwise, it is okay only.

This college makes you a better person in life.

Placements: The placement was not that much good. Only, 30% of the students got placed on my batch, and I was one of them. I got placed in Seven Summits Consultancy, Bangalore with an annual package of 4 LPA. Many companies including Indian army and Planet Cast visited the campus for the annual recruitment.

Overall, the management of the college is average.

Placements: The college had good placements for the final year students, who have above 60% marks. Pool campus is there for all the students who are interested in doing the job after completing a degree. Famous companies are also coming for the interview. In our batch, till now, 3 students are placed.

When I was there, they are good at fests, and all the other things are average including teachers.

Placements: The placements wise, our college is not that much great as the only biomedical site have great placements. Otherwise, the students don't get that many placements. They also don't provide to go to other colleges to attend the interviews. So, we can say it is the worst.

Honest review of MGM college of engineering.

Placements: There are some reputed companies like Mankind, L&T etc. were came from last two years for placements, but very few students get a job. The companies came for placements mainly focus on EXTC and mechanical branch. For better performance in placements, college takes seminar regularly.
