May 16, 2024: Vision is Everything a resounding success which introduced the advancement and further scope in the field to its participants. It was organized by the Department of Optometry, MGM School of Biomedical Sciences, NM in collaboration with the Department of Ophthalmology, MGM Medical College, and Hospital NM, Indian Optometric Association (IOA), and Maha Optometry Association (MOA). A spectrum of topics were covered by our experts speakers; Dr.Neera Kapoor, Dr. Rajeev Prasad, Dr. Purushottam Naidu, Dr. Veshal Madan, Prashant Bhatkar, Dr. Vidyut Rajhans, and Kishore Bhandary.
A thought-provoking panel discussion featuring esteemed academics and industry experts. Academic panel discussion was moderated by Rohit.I.Gupta which included following panelist’s; Dr. Purushottam Naidu, Dr. Vidyut Rajhans, and Dr. Veshal Madan. The Competition segment brought out the best in participants which included the following: Case Presentation, Quiz Competition, Poster Competition, Singing Competition, and Dance Competition.
On Day 2, a series of specialized seminars and workshops, catering to the diverse interests of attendees were conducted by the experts in the fields; Gagan Sahani, Priti Mistry, Vimal Mehra , and Huned Ali Chasmawala. The day culminated into a grand finale with the prize distribution ceremony, and heartfelt vote of thanks.

Placements: 100% placements as Cardiac Technologies Cathlab Teach Cardiac Sonographer. Students passed out works in different hospitals such as Apollo, Jupiter, Fortis, Tata, etc. Also in various field-related companies with good packages. Passed-out students can work as tutors in medical colleges.
Placements: Placement in MGM Hospital is provided. They have a tie-up with Fresenius Medical Care, one of the topmost companies in the field of dialysis. They have a tie-up with Baxter Healthcare. They have a tie-up with B. Braun Medicare. They have a tie-up with Mitra Industries.
Placements: There are no placements in this college. Forty percent of students from my pharmaceutical, biotech, and cancer research course obtained internships from companies such as pharmaceutical, biotech, and cancer research. Internships are provided by the college to very selective students only.
Placements: Almost everyone is either pursuing a Ph.D. or is working on good placements by reference. Highly ambitious people can easily get into any good and huge institute. A variety of job titles can be offered for the same. You can work on both an industrial and an academic side.
Placements: Placements are not provided here, but they will post you at a different hospital during the course itself, which will help you gain experience. Multispecialty hospital with a wide range of patients and cases. Canteen/kitchen food service handling is also included.
Placements: In B.Sc. OTAT, 20 students got admission through interviews and based on scores in the 12th exam. The salary package offered is between 25000-35000 PM. Top recruiting companies are multi-specialty hospitals like Tata and Fortis where we get recruited. Internship is a part of our curriculum. In the 4th year, we might get placed in MGM Charitable Hospital as an intern.
