MIT Vishwashanti Sangeet Kala Academy is a part of the Faculty of Art, Fine Art and Performing Arts under MIT ADT University. Located in Pune, this is a unique academic institute that aims at reviving Indian classical music and dance in its purest forms via its UG, PG, certificate and vacation programmes. For the benefit of its students, this academy regularly invites renowned instrumentalists for presenting Lec-Dem. A few other USPs of this academy are as follows:
- The academy is equipped with the right skills like and technology related to sound engineering, recording, editing, composing, artist promotion, music business, music event management, copyright, music publication, etc.
- Various workshops, demonstrations, lectures and performances by eminent musicians & educators and musical quizzes & debates for the students are regularly organised to promote better understanding of various aspects of music and dance
- The teachers also use innovative methods like audio-visual aids and recordings and editing of music through the software to improve the teaching and learning process
