College is good but there are fewer placements.
Placements: Many students get placed in electronic and telecommunication engineering. It is the main branch of the college. The highest salary package offered in 2023 was 12.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered in 2016 was 40 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, and Mahindra visit the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There are Wi-Fi, labs, and digital classrooms. The hostel is good but does not have Wi-Fi. The mess is good. There are many facilities for sports. You can easily play sports in the college. There are no limitations.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Exams are held very nicely. There is no malpractice in college. The teaching quality is very good. The curriculum is also relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult but not very much. The passing percentage is 40% in each subject out of 100%.

A delightful engineering college!
Placements: The placements scenario is just fine in our college. The average package offered is around 3.5 LPA, and we have recruiters like TCS, Ninja, Thermax, Infosys, etc. Maximum opportunities available are for the EnTC department right now. You can definitely earn good by developing more skills through off-campus.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good enough and properly ventilated. Many of them have smart boards now. The library also has a good collection of books, and you'll get whatever you want. The reading room area is fine for studying but is a bit noisy. The hostels are okayish from what I heard (I'm a day scholar). But the Wi-Fi is just bad, and the connectivity is also bad in the college.
Faculty: The teachers in this college are really good. Many of the faculty members in other engineering colleges don't even bother to teach, while in Wadia COE the professors do take care that students study well for the exams. Just that the curriculum of SPPU is a bit outdated with respect to current standards.
Other: The college is really a friendly place, and it also has the Jhankaar event, which is also nice. Webinars are also conducted timely for all-round development.

Students should know their rights and the college should inform them!
Placements: I am currently studying in the 2nd year of Mechanical Engineering. The placements percentage of Mechanical Engineering in my college is about 90 to 95%. Companies come with a criteria, and if a student is suitable for that criteria, he/she can get placed. The highest package offered was for 42 LPA and it was bagged for 37 LPA by a mechanical engineer, the lowest package is the average package of the college which is about 2LPA to 2.5LPA. Amazon, TATA, Wipro, and TCS are the top recruiting companies in Pune which also recruit for my course. My college offers internships at TATA, ENV, etc. If a student has cleared all his subjects without any backlogs, he/she can get a chance of internship. 55-60% students get a chance to get into internships.
Infrastructure: The course offers number of books which are available in the library. The library does not have any book which are not related to any other course in the college. The college supports WiFi but most of the time, it does not work. There are various types of machine labs related to my course which help the students to see and do things practically. The classrooms now are updated with smart TVs for the students to understand better. I would rate the hostel facilities 4/10 and the quality of the food provided there. Sports quota plays an important role here.
Faculty: The amount of knowledge the teachers hold is great, but they does not teach or are not able to teach the way they should. The course curriculum just makes the students theoretically industry ready, but the reality is that 50% of the students are not really ready with what the industries need. The semester exams should be more difficult for our country to get useful engineers. The passing percentage is about 70%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to see and learn the mechanical industry closely. Mechanical Engineering is just like a real life video game, it helps us understand how things works practically. The main thing I would like to change about the course is the type of teaching the students are offered, rather than teaching theoretically, they should teach more practically. The name of the fest held every year in the month of February is 'JHANKAAR'. The college gives and supports a lot of scholarships which helps the students with lower financial backgrounds.

I said that don’t take admission in any non-autonomous college. First, prefer autonomous colleges.
Placements: 10-20% under 4 Lacs. Also, no such internship is provided. Everyone should prefer autonomous colleges first. The student intake till the final year is 500 minimum, but in this, 50 students are not placed. Nothing is provided in autonomous colleges, but autonomous colleges decide everything like exams, holidays, etc. Don't know more about placement.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are excellent. No Wi-Fi available. Hostel is also best, but the food is poor. They give good food at the start, and then there’s nothing more to say. The canteen is not available, and no medical facilities. In and out time in the hostel is 7 am to 7 pm. After 7 pm to 7 am, we can't go in or out.
Faculty: FE teachers are much better than SE, TE. FE teachers teach well. Minimum 40% in each exam. About in-sem, the university changed the pattern (2024 pattern). So, we have Comprehensive Continuous Evaluation (CCE). Sr. Parameters - Marks - Coverage of Unit Unit Test - 12 Marks - Unit 1 & Unit 2 (6 Marks/Unit) Assignments / Case Study - 12 Marks - Unit 3 & Unit 4 (6 Marks/Unit) Seminar Presentation / Open Book Test / Quiz - 06 Marks - Unit 5.
Other: The campus is very nice.

Good college with great campus life.
Placements: Around 60 percent students had placement last year. The highest package was 8 LPA, and the lowest was around 3.7 LPA. Every 3rd-year student gets an internship, which is either paid or unpaid based on the efforts taken by himself or herself. Roles that are offered to us include data analyst, front-end developer, back-end developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Clean and ventilated classrooms with good facilities for the hostel and library. The library has many books related to each field. We also have open areas in the college on every floor to have lunch during the lunch break, and canteen facilities are also available here. We have a separate badminton court, which is huge, and we can also play other sports.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful to us. Whenever we talk to them, we definitely get a good solution. The curriculum of the course is designed by SPPU and is related to the field, but we need to do extra to stay updated in this field. The exams have a moderate level, and the passing criteria for the in-semester exam is 12 out of 30, and for the end-semester exam, it is 40 out of 70.

I would not suggest it to take admission in my college.
Placements: My college has four branches: computer science engineering, mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence and robotics engineering, and ENTC engineering. I'm a Computer Science Engineering student. My batch is 2022-2024. Talking about computer science engineering, only 20% of students get placed in our college. Around 250 students are in a CS batch, out of which 200 appear and less than 50 are placed. The highest package is 15 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA. Top recruiters are Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Amazon, Adobe, TCS and Cognizant. Top roles offered are software developer as an intern, Java developer, and web developer. Many students apply externally for internships but very few get internships through our college.
Infrastructure: Our college has good labs and a library where students can enhance their growth. Wifi is not available on campus but of course, the labs have Ethernet to the PCs. Classrooms have good ambience and are provided with smart boards for better understanding. Basic facilities are always available. Talking about hostels, they are average and have accommodation for min. 3 students and a dorm is also provided for 15 students. Food is average but hygiene is maintained. Medical facilities are always available. We have a cricket ground, a volleyball court, a basketball court and a gym. We don't have many facilities for sports.
Faculty: The teachers are good and helpful but very few teach heartily and have true knowledge. They are not that qualified but good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes you industry-ready but one has to hustle to stand out of the crowd. Semesters are not hard but average and one must score at least 40% combined of in-semester and end-semester. Students must score at least 30% in both assessments separately. It's easy to score. Students must maintain 75% of attendance, which is mandatory. Practicals are also conducted, which results in internal marks. Assignments are given regularly.
Other: I chose this course as I had very few fees to pay as I was applicable for TFWS. I had better options but fees mattered to me a lot so I got into this college. The best thing about my course is that it's demanding but of course, nowadays, due to automation, companies are laying off but no worries that can be too sorted up with new techniques. I wish better facilities and technologies could be provided, which would help students a lot. Many clubs are made in the college where students can find their interests, events are conducted, guest lectures are also conducted and every year an annual gathering happens. The campus crowd is huge, and transport, food, medical and other basic facilities are present. Scholarships are also provided to students. Fees for the open category are 104000 per year, for EWS 60000 per year, for TFWS 15000 per year and fees for other categories vary but are less than open. This is without a hostel. Hostel has 36,000 per year, including mess.
