Placements: There were no placements for our batch. The number of companies visited was zero. And even if companies had visited our college, they would go to Engineering College. Teachers had shown no interest in our placements. So please think before taking admission.
Placements: I didn't opt for a job after my undergraduate, and also most of our batchmates didn't opt for it either. A job after a B.Sc. isn't very appealing, at least for the employers. Regardless, some people got certain jobs in the chemical industry as a lab assistant for an average salary of Rs. 15,000 per month.
Placements: Since it is a private course, no placements are offered. I think at least they could have provided us with the internships. It would have given us exposure. After completing your bachelor's one can either go for masters or one can do the internship in some research centre or a laboratory. One can also opt for a diploma or MBA in biotechnology. After the bachelor's, the least one could get is Rs. 7-8k if working in a laboratory. A food biotech company visited the college. There were few seminars ...
