Satisfied with the college. Good placements and helpful faculty members. Good study environment.
Placements: My college consists of 100 students, and the course I study is MBBS. After the course, one shall opt for higher education or can work in a hospital. Almost 80 percent of the students get internships. One can achieve up to super specialty after MBBS and MD.
Infrastructure: My college consists of 5 buildings: an academic block, a hospital block, doctor's quarters, and two separate hostels for both boys and girls. The academic block consists of a well-maintained library having unlimited Wi-Fi facilities and having many medical books. 4 lecture halls are there, all fully air-conditioned and with sufficient lighting. All of them have smart boards and projectors in them. The hostel rooms are clean and well maintained. They are separate for both boys and girls. The mess hall is near to the hostel. The food quality is average.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty members are very helpful and cooperative. They help us in understanding the topics very well. As they also are doctors, they know about the subjects very well. According to me, the current curriculum is relevant, having all necessary information included in the syllabus. The exams are conducted yearly and are much more difficult to pass.
Other: I chose this course because it was my dream from high school to get into and work in the medical field. Also, it is a profession that demands respect in the society also.

Should choose if you are mainly focused on academics. But events and infrastructure are less.
Placements: Almost all students who completed the course were placed as interns for 1 year in the hospital with a stipend of around 10000. After completion, one may get appointed as a junior resident in the same college or other medical with a starting salary of around 20000 per month. The maximum salary offered is around 60000 per month in some private sectors. It's better to pursue specialization for better opportunities and a better salary.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hospital is pretty decent and it's developing at a fast rate. But the academic wing is pretty old-dated in terms of infrastructure and technologies used in the lecture hall. Lecture halls are air conditioned. The roof of lecture halls at the top level may leak during heavy rain. And during heavy rain, the faculty's voice is distorted and not clear.
Faculty: The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and have enough clinical exposure and clinical experience. Some of the teachers (one or two) are not so student-friendly. The curriculum is the same in all parts of the nation and I guess it makes us future-prepared. The curriculum is difficult and the pattern has also changed, which is also a bit more difficult than the previous pattern. Internals are of moderate toughness; sometimes the university exam is tougher than internals and at times it's easier than internals.
Other: The course is difficult to complete, but it's worth it if you came to do this off your own decision and not by others decision. Events and interactions with other students are pretty unique experiences. Be careful while choosing your friends.

Nice college if you have no other option.
Placements: Only 40% of students were placed in our senior batch. The lowest package was around 3 Lacs, and the highest was 6 Lacs per annum. The highest company is Maria Hospital, as a medical data analyst and general practitioner. Only very few people get placed here.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi and free water, nothing more than that. There are free books to be read at the library. Hostel food is very average; a lot of times, they have been caught in malpractices. But it is better now. Sports events are there, but once a year. The football field is small, and the ground accommodates only 15 people max.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, good, and knowledgeable. Teaching is of the highest quality. Yes, it is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semesters are better compared to other colleges. But at the end of the day, you have to study your own syllabus.
Other: I chose this course to become a doctor and provide service to the people. The best thing about this course is that I have the freedom to pursue anything I want after my career. I wish this course taught more about the practical aspects of college. Events and campus are mid-range, not too great but meet the minimum requirements.

I am disappointed by the infrastructure but faculty wise it’s pretty good.
Placements: There aren't any placements happening as this is a medical college and the same applies for recruiting companies. Students who manage to pass the final year exams are eligible for internships at the same college. The highest salary package offered is 1 crore.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very average. Labs, classrooms, etc are small but are enough to occupy 100 students. Hostel is also good. Cleaning services are there weekly. There are only two people in a room with an attached bathroom. Only the food is lacking and is a bland tasting. Often the students go outside and eat food
Faculty: Teachers at the college are well qualified to teach the subjects. They are very dedicated to their profession and students with very receptive to criticism. The curriculum is very relevant as it is a medical field. The knowledge acquired here may be a case of life and death for a patient. The semester exams are challenging as they give us university-level questions to solve. There has been a rise in the pass percentage in the last couple of years.
Other: I chose this course because this is what I have been interested in for a very long time. I feel like I can contribute more and also bring out my full potential in this field. Being able to help others is the best part of the course. Materials for studies should be made available for students for free because already the fees are high. If the study materials were free, it would be of great help. It would also produce more successful doctors. There are an adequate number of events at the college and we also have inter-college events.

An honest opinion about the college- both positives and negatives.
Placements: I belong to batch of 2020 and will pass out after internship in 2026. The pass percentage is pretty low considering that MBBS is a tough course. But our college has an improving trend in the case of pass percentage. Its near to 80%. The lowest package is via reservation, where the government plays for everything; my package is private merit, where I pay about 7.8 lacs per year. There is no recruitment thing in medical colleges; however, there is a 1-year compulsory internship, which in the case of our college we have to do in our hospital itself.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty much basic. Labs are ordinary without any new advanced equipment. Just about fine enough to run a medical college. Wi-Fi is there in the library only. The library is open for 12 hours, 7.30 am to 7.30 pm. Quality of mess is bad. Recently, there was an incident of food poisoning as well. A new mess has been built, and since then things have improved. The students decide on the menu themselves. Sports and games: although the college does not show enough support, there are all kinds of basic sports there in the college, like basketball, football, cricket, badminton, throwball, and volleyball. There are separate courts for every sport, although they are not very well maintained.
Faculty: For MBBS the curriculum is tough. But the faculty members are always supportive and help the students overcome the challenges. Faculty members can be approached any time by the students. *Course curriculum* The course curriculum is very relevant in MBBS. More we learn, the better doctors we become. But clinical practice is also very important. *Difficulty of exams* Exams are hard to clear. Pass percentage is about 80%, which is very low given that there is an additional SAY exam incase one fails in the first attempt.
Other: To be a doctor was always a goal; that is why I chose this college. Our college has a student union, which hosts events and sports. We have annual sports arts medfests from our college as well as intercollege competitions with other colleges in our state. The overall environment is calm, filled with greenery in a hilly area. Aesthetically very beautiful; there are peacocks in the college. Connectivity to the surrounding town is weak, as there is a drive of a minimum 20 minutes to reach the nearest town. This is all about the college.

    Faculties should be more knowledgable
Placements: 100 students in our batch ,but in 2023 about 150 students were admitted.many of our seniors has got good placements in pg at various government medical colleges in kerala as well as outside kerala .one of our senior was a top rank holder under the KUHS.
Infrastructure: overall facilities of hostel are good, sometimes water is a problem during hot season , but it will be dealt with at the earliest, the area is somewhat intoo the town, sometimes people find it difficult to reach here ..so many of the prefer to go hospitala at town , recently patiens are more at our hospital .
Faculty: departments have doctors who are helpful and knowleadgable ,teaching quality is average..most of them adapt method of taking seminar by students as a way of teaching which further add students to take up efforts in presentation.Teachers are okay and helpful.
Other: Sress is a problem of many medicos so there should be something to reduce tension and stress among students.
