Placements: So, I would say there is no guaranteed placement in my college. Though there is a placement cell, it doesn't work properly. Some people are really trying to find work on their own after graduation from the college. In conclusion, there is no placement in my college.
Placements: Usually, students do not opt for placement from B.Com as they are pursuing professional courses or a Master's degree after B.Com. Hence, placements from B.Com are less competitive. In my personal experience, the highest package offered from my college, as told by my seniors, was around 6.6 LPA, and the lowest usually starts from 1.2 LPA or 1.8 LPA, which is typically offered by Big4, Accenture, etc. Also, internships help to get into these companies and firms easily as they increase the chances ...
Placements: No, this year there were no placements on the college campus. There is a placement cell present in the college, but it is temporarily closed. Faculty members said that they will give references for internships that come to them, but yet no such internship opportunities have come to us.
Placements: Around 50 percent were placed. The placement group was active even after placement. The college needs to work on marketing profile placement; the rest were good. The companies that came were Deloitte, KPMG, WTW, South India Bank, TCS, etc. Average package was around INR 3.5 LPA.
Placements: Very few students got placements. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month for the BMS course. Top recruiting companies are Infosys and Wipro. Nearly 30% of the students got placement in companies like Infosys and Wipro. Top roles offered in the course are marketing, sales, and HR.
Placements: As a B.Com graduate, you can only expect a job that pays a basic salary. However, the college organises campus placements with 2-3 companies coming in. I would encourage students to rather gain additional qualifications and then apply for placements. The professors will assist you in the same.
Placements: The placements offered in our college were good. Companies like TCS, Wipro and various banks visited the college to conduct placements. The placement procedure is very good. Students are informed about the companies coming to conduct placement drives. The college also prepares the students for interviews. The teachers help us in clearing our doubts.
Placements: The college students have received the placement offers from the companies like TCS, Asian Paints, TJSB, etc. The average salary offered was around Rs. 11,000 per month with the positions of cashier's, trainees, etc., with an offer. Out of the students who applied for the placements, 50% were placed and subjected to different conditions of the companies.
Placements: Placements were decent enough to get proper exposure to the outside world. Usually, not many go for placements after completing their BMS course. They directly go for MBA or any other post graduation course. The senior batch students, as far as I know, were happy enough to get proper placement.
Placements: Unlike a B-school, we did not have a robust placement process in place. Although a few public sector banks did come on the campus to offer placements. With a plain B.Com degree, it is difficult to find a job that will pay you well and look good on your CV which everyone was aware of. Most of the students here already pursue their chartered accountancy course in parallel, pursuing a better career. To sum it up, the placement process was almost as good as non-existent. ...
Placements: Placements were not great. The average salary was around Rs. 15,000. Not a lot of reputed companies visit the college, hence not a lot of good options are available to choose from. No proper channels are established to pass news about future placements and options available to students.
Placements: The placements were okay. About 4-5 companies visited the campus. The recruitment process started too late and we had our final exams soon. The companies that visited were TCS, Tata Capital, Eclerx, ADFC etc. Roles offered were for phone banking, back office executive, financial analyst, etc.
Placements: Placements in our college are good, and it is one of the best colleges in Mumbai. A good number of companies visit our college for placements. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA. Companies like ICICI Bank, KPMG, Asian Paints, TCS, etc., visited our campus for placements.
Placements: A limited reputed companies visit our college for placements, and generally, many startups visit. Generally, placements are conducted in December. Reputed companies like TCS, JP Morgan visit the college, but they hardly recruit only 4-5 students. The college provides nice exposure. The startup is always a better option.
