A life changing experience.

Placements: The placements in the college were mainly focussed on the students aspiring for and pursuing CA. Although even bachelor degree students could apply. Companies like JP Morgan, Deloitte, etc. had visited. Roles in the field of accounting and finance were offered. There is a placement training cell in the college to train the students for interviews.

Really good college. You will be exposed more to the outside world and the knowledge.

Placements: The senior batch had quite a good experience with placements. We experienced the same. Last year, 80% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered was 18-20,000 per month and the least was 10,000. Companies such as L&T, TCS and Infosys visited this year. We were also made to prepare ourselves for the interview by the college itself. Mostly the roles offered were basic programming.

Excellent infrastructure. Decent placements in 2016.

Placements: The college claims to have placed 80% of students in the year 2016, but when talking to seniors, we realized these statistics are wrong. Recently, L&T came in. Only 4 students were recruited that too were on standby so overall, if you are looking to be placed, this college offers a decent chances, but don't follow the numbers.

Excellent college. Worth joining it.

Placements: The placement rate was around 90%. The companies which came to campus were KPMG, EY, Deloitte, Citi, etc. and around 6 LPA packages were offered. Roles offered were that of analyst and research analyst. Internship was not compulsory and students who wanted to do internships had to find on their own.

Good placements but average infrastructure.

Placements: Placements were almost 100 percent for the students eligible and a few of the companies which came were KPMG, Great Place to Work, Directi, E&Y and Accenture. Roles offered were mostly in finance and marketing. The internship was not compulsory in our college.

Amazing placements in 2016.

Placements: The placement cell for the college is undoubtedly one of the best in Mumbai, having more than 90% of the students placed. Being a placement coordinator for NM myself, I can say that the companies that come on and off-campus for placements are reviewed by all the placement coordinators as well and put up for the students. The average package was around 4 lakhs PA, the highest being 8 lakhs PA and the lowest being 2.5 lakhs PA.

3 best years of life which were totally worth it.

Placements: There were no placements conducted for B.Com graduates. The college does not provide any internship or job. Placements were conducted for BMS students and other courses. B.Com was the most common course selected by students of this college yet no placement programs were conducted. As most of the students pursue CA along with B.Com, yet there were no placement programmes for those students too.

A perfect place for students to pursue finance/management.

Placements: NM College gives immense opportunities and options as far as placements are concerned. It has a dedicated placement cell which is run along with Mithibai and UPG. The placement cell ensures that the right companies are called in, candidates are prepared well for the interviews and everything is well co-ordinated.

N.M College - A great place to start.

Placements: Incidentally, N.M College is known as a CA factory. A lot of people studying B.Com here are usually pursuing either individual business needs or chartered accountancy or chartered secretary. These courses have a 2-3 year mandatory internship period. Though the college does not promote doing both the courses together, it does not deter its students either. There is a placement cell on the first floor of the college where each student can personally go and make enquiries and a placement notice boa...

State-of-the-art infrastructure at NM.

Placements: Internships are not compulsory. They are based on the student's interests. You can approach the placement cell and they keep forwarding mails so you can apply under the college name. More than 80% got placed for finals. On an average, the packages offered during my time were 3 lakhs per annum.

Absolutely satisfied. Great college.

Placements: Most of the students ended up doing CA and were placed in Big 4 firms. Since I was in the management class, the mix of students' placement was very diverse. Some got placed into marketing firms, advertising, financial analyst etc.

One of the best colleges. Do not miss the chance.

Placements: Placements are provided through the placement cell. You have to register with the placement cell before time. As and when the companies approach the college for campus placements, they will inform you. Placements may be provided in small medium or large companies like PWC, KPMG, Deloitte and much more. The average package for BCom is 6 lakhs per annum.

I am really satisfied with the college because of excellent infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: For placement, NM College has specific department namely training and placement cell. The students who undertake this program mostly secure placements in reputed companies. The training starts when students are in the first year of their degree. The highest salary till now as per what I heard from my professor is 7 LPA, which has been provided to one of our degree students, and the average is around 2-4 LPA. The companies such as Deloitte, Tata Capital, Edelweiss, etc. visit the campus. They pro...

The CA factory of India and really good value.

Placements: Most of the students pursue at least one of the many courses such as CA, CS, CFA, Actuary and MBA. This is due to the fact that BCom from Mumbai University is not as valued as it was 20 years ago. Also, NM is known as the CA Factory because nearly 70% of the 900-strong B. Com students are pursuing CA and are usually successful at gaining a qualification. There is a placement committee in place headed by Mr Nainesh Koli but it is not really that strong. No placement reports are issued as most of ...

Good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The college placement cell is really good with premier companies visiting for recruitments. The maximum focus is placed on finance profile jobs followed by marketing and HR. The pay package offered to the students is really good with no lock-in periods in most companies. The placement cell works throughout the year conducting soft skill workshops for juniors, helping students get internships and help seniors with placements on and off-campus. The ratio of students placed is very high and thos...

Good placements in 2015-2016.

Placements: The placements provided by the college were really good. The average package was 3 lakhs. Also, mostly the students who wanted placements from the campus got them and if not, the placement committee made sure even after they pass out, they still get an opportunity to apply. The placement officers were very helpful which made it more approachable for students to clarify their doubts.

My alma mater and the memories made for life.

Placements: As all of my batchmates were interested in further studies, none of them really took up the college placements. But, there are a number of companies coming for the placements, especially the CA firms. A few of my friends did land up with good placements, and more companies were coming to offer CA articleship roles.

Good infrastructure for all those who attend the college.

Placements: The placements were good for us as well as for past batches. Large number of students were selected by many reputed companies. The placement procedure adopted by many companies/ firms helps us to increase our confidence level, interview experience. Many firms including big fours i.e KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, E&Y also came for placements. Salary/ Stipend (For CA students) offered by them also high as compared to other firms.

Good infrastructure and faculty but has attendance issue and is not a CA-friendly college.

Placements: The placement is good as companies like from the Big 4, which are KPMG and PWC, and other industrial companies are coming but it depends on the skills and also if you have the CA degree. The highest salary may be 8 lacs and the lowest may be 3 to 4 lacs. The student gets the internship in many firms from the college campus, like the Big 4 firms and other medium and small-scale firms. The roles offered to the student are the analysis of data, tax department or a manager, it depends on the company...
