My review on our college and my experience till now.

Placements: The average package was 7.5 lakhs. The highest was 14 lakhs off campus. Our college assures 90 percent placement. JSW and Vedanta Steel are mass recruiters. Placements are conducted by the placement cell. Average CGPA for placement is 7.5. There should be no backlogs.

The best core college in Asia.

Placements: There is 100 percent placement opportunity in our college. The highest package till now is 14 LPA. The average package is about 7-8 LPA. Our branch production and industrial engineering is new in this college, so till now the first batch of production and industrial engineering is in its 3rd year, so we can't say of its placement. But being a part of mechanical engineering, it's placement is assumed to be the same for mechanical engineering students.

Join if you want a good government engineering college with a lower JEE Main rank .

Placements: This year's placement rate was almost 100%, as 114 students got placed out of 120, which is quite good. The top recruiters are JSW, Vedanta, Tata Motors, etc. Most students were placed in JSW with a 9.6 LPA package and the highest package offered by Vedanta is 13.5 LPA.

Want good government engineering college with a low JEE rank ? This is it.

Placements: Placement was quite good this year, and the placement rate was 100% for the Mechanical and Metallurgy branches. The highest package was 16 LPA, and many students received 13.6 LPA from Vedanta and JSW. Additionally, as always, companies like JSW offered 9.6 LPA and hired in bulk. Therefore, the average package is between 9 to 10 LPA, which is quite good for Metallurgy and Materials Engineering as a fresher.

NIFFT: An affordable college with placement for core branches.

Placements: NIFFT has a promising record of placement. As the college focuses on only core branches (metallurgy and manufacturing), placements mostly occur in core companies. Since the college is small in strength, every student is focused on it, and so the placement percentage is almost 100%. In 2023, the average package was around 7 LPA. Here, the major recruiting companies include Tata Steel, Heavy Engineering Corporation, NML, IOCL, ONGC, Vedanta, JSW, etc.

Good placement and also has a good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement is good overall at the college, and there are many companies visiting for placement. The average package is 6-7 LPA and the highest package is 19 LPA. The faculty members are very helpful and almost every student is placed. In this college, Vedanta, JSW, Maruti, etc. are visited for campus placement .

Good college for those who want to study only, because many of our seniors got qualified GATE.

Placements: Right now, placements are going on in our college, and many students have secured placements in JSW with a package of 9.5 LPA. As per the previous trend, almost every student gets placement here with an average package of 7-8 LPA. The top recruiting company is JSW, and the company offering the highest package is Vedanta. Last year, Vedanta offered 14 LPA to a student, which was the highest.

Good placement in core branch.

Placements: In our previous batch, we got 100% placement. According to the latest data for 2023 in the mechanical branch, the highest package is 14 LPA by Vedanta, the average is 8.75 LPA and the minimum is 3.75 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Vedanta, Tata, JSW Steel, etc. Our college is focusing on only one core branch. We have a computer branch that started in 2022. It is new, so we don't have IT companies.

The highest package offered in year 2022 is somewhere around 14 LPA for Metallurgy and around 10lpa for manufacturing engineering. Now there is no manufacturing branch in our college. It has now four branches viz. Production, mechanical, computer engineering which has no placement record yet. Companies like JSW, Vedanta and TATA metalics etc. Visits for campus recruitment. Review of National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology.

Placements: The placement percentage is 100%. However, there aren't many decent companies. Unlike other colleges, the administration doesn't show much support. As per the placement statistics, 9.45 LPA is the highest salary package in 2022, 3.5 LPA is the lowest, and 7 LPA is the average. Top recruiters are Vedanta, Tata Metals, and JSW. For internships, people have to look on their own. Internships are done mostly in steel plants.

It is a good college, and you will get good placements here.

Placements: Almost 80% of final year students got placed in most of the reputed companies. Companies are visiting after that also. The highest salary package received was 9.2 LPA provided by Vedanta to 22 students. The lowest salary package offered was 5.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was about 7 LPA. If you study hard then you are going to get placed surely.

This college has a decent placements record, hostels, but the teachers are not good.

Placements: Placements percentage is good in this college, and around 90-95% of students get placed every year. But the package is average, ranging from 9.5 LPA is the highest salary, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA. Companies that come to NIAMT are Vedanta, Tata Metallic, Craftsman automation, Shriram Piston, etc. The internship part is not that good as the institute hardly cares about it.

Students get good results in the GATE exam. Our college is worth for money.

Placements: I am currently pursuing B.Tech in metallurgy engineering. Only two branches are available in B.Tech, i.e., metallurgy and manufacturing engineering. Placements of the metallurgy branch are quite good, and also more than 5 students secured a rank below 100 in GATE exam in 2018. Overall, metallurgy branch of this college can be compared to IITs. But the manufacturing branch here is not that good as placements in it are poor, and also GATE results are very bad.

One of the best college for Manufacturing engineering.

Placements: Some of the best companies visit the campus for recruitment. Prominent companies like Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki visited the college. Almost 70% of the students of our batch got placed in various companies. CTCs are not so high but still better to kick start your career in the core engineering. Later when you will gain experience you will find its benefits.
