A premium institute for banking and finance with excellent placements and college life.

Faculty: One of the best faculty for banking and finance in India. Our faculty members are actually one of the best in industry as they take training of the professional bankers as well. Curriculum is designed to get the core banking domain knowledge, especially in risk management and treasury. Exams have tri-semester patterns every 5 weeks. We are writing our exams, so this makes our domain knowledge very strong and relevant.

National Institute of Bank Management is a decent college.

Faculty: Course curriculum is highly technical and demanding, leaving little time for extracurricular pursuits. Faculty quality varies with some exceptional instructors and others being average. Most professors have background in research. Curriculum focuses heavily on risk and banking, with three semesters per year. Upon completion, students receive a post-graduate diploma in management (PGDM) degree.

Best exposure for banking and financial services.

Faculty: Faculty members are researchers first fueling the tag of NIBM which is think tank of RBI. Faculty members have years of experience in the Banking Industry. Curriculum is highly relevant as bank executives are also taught same specialised courses for their bank job. Even though the course is rigorous with help of faculty almost everyone clears all subjects.

Life-changing experience - Exposure, learnings, and peer group.

Faculty: Unlike other B schools, where a faculty hierarchy typically exists. At NIBM each faculty member is also a part of the executive training and research vertical. It's important to note that NIBM is not precisely a B-school but includes PGDM as one of its verticals. Thus, one is taught by seasoned faculty who also interact with executives from top banks and finance companies. Making them highly attuned to industry needs and shaping both the curriculum and their teaching style according.

Best institute of Banking aspirants.

Faculty: NIBM teachers are very supportive and knowledgeable. Teachers are working in banks; 2 teachers are retiring from bank service. The course of NIBM is very rigorous because we have a trimester system that incorporates midterm and endterm. We do have continuous exams to monitor performance. In the curriculum, we have two months of internships, term projects, final year projects, and a lot more. Semester exams are quite easy and need good preparation.

Satisfied with the college because the return on investment is great.

Faculty: All the teachers are heavily experienced around the curriculum in banking and finance. The entire syllabus focuses on preparing the student in all aspects of the banking and finance arena. The classrooms sessions are pretty interactive where the presentations are made available to the students before the classes. NIBM is one amongst the very few colleges where the teacher-student ratio is almost equal. For a batch size of 60, we had around 50 professors.

The best college if one is dedicated to be a banker or to get in the finance industry.

Faculty: When talking about course curriculum, NIBM offers the best in the field of banking and financial services. Subjects like corporate finance, risk management, derivatives fixed income securities, etc., were taught in deep details. Different data extraction tools such as prowess and ace equity were also a part of the curriculum. Dummy training game also was conducted to make us familiar with what happens in a trading room. On a scale of 10, I would rate the course structure as 9.5.
