Overall, it is a good college with good faculty, but hostels could get a little better.
Placements: Out of all the courses that we have, maximum placements are obtained by students studying in the Fashion Communication and Fashion Technology department. They are placed in brands like Arvind Mills, Aditya Birla Group, Louis Philippe, etc. Students get better internships outside.
Infrastructure: There are better hostels on other main campuses like Gandhinagar, Bangalore, and Delhi. The Hyderabad campus is also good. It's the third-largest campus of all. The mess facilities have been getting better over a period of time. Sports are also taken care of.
Faculty: The difficulty level is not that high. Faculty members are mostly good at considering the marks of students. We have a proper jury, where a panel of two internals and one external sits together to review our work. The average comes out to be quite good. Students work hard a lot, day and night, and they do get what they deserve.
Other: The best part about our college is that we have many college events, which enhance our opportunities for overall engagement and develop our personalities. Our college offers scholarships. There are many extracurricular activities and competitions. Modeling for instance is the other name of our fashion college.

We are proud to be dynamic and motivated students as we are mentored and supported well.
Placements: Around 70% of the students get placed from college with an average salary package of 4-5 LPA. Our college has a centralised placement system. Our college offers 2 kinds of placement systems, one is on- campus placements, and the other is pre-placement offers. However, most of the students go for masters or indulge in entrepreneurship after their graduation.
Infrastructure: Our campus is situated in between the IT hub and the statecraft village, Shilparamam. NIFT Hyderabad has one of the best infrastructures and is also an ISO certified campus. We have a very good resource centre where you can find some magazines and all the books related to management, technology, designing, etc. We can actually research a lot from our library. The college also has a good auditorium, conference hall, and a number of laboratories for each department separately. The campus also has a vast canteen and a cafeteria. There is also a stationery on the campus. We have indoor and outdoor grounds for sports and games. Classrooms and labs have AC facility and are spacious. Quality of food offered in the canteen is fair. We also have a canteen committee where they regularly check the quality of food and everything. Hostel rooms are divided with a partition and are allotted for 2 people. The campus is good and well-maintained by the staff.
Faculty: Teachers in college are very helpful and cool. NIFT professors should have a masters degree and also 5 years of industry experience. The faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality provided is very impressive. They will use different methods of teaching by taking us to labs, providing presentations and videos of the processes and taking us to a lot of industry visits. We have a course curriculum, and it is useful for our assignments and syllabus revision.
Other: The college has 4 clubs. The first is literary and dramatics club which deals with speeches, writing competitions, conference programmes, debates, competitions, etc. The second is a sports club which conducts Converge every year where all the campuses of NIFT meet in one campus where inter NIFT sports competitions are conducted among all the NIFT campuses once in a year. The third is the cultural club which deals with all the cultural activities for all the national festivals and fests of our college. The fourth club is called ESSE, which deals with social service and ethics and looks after all the social and environmental programs in college. The campus also provides mentoring sessions every week in specific timings. We are also fortunate to have department electives, and now according to the new curriculum, we have an option to select a subject from other departments and also floating subjects. We can also select a general elective like yoga, sports, dance, music, psychology, etc. The campus is surrounded with a mall, statecraft cluster, very vast IT hub cyber towers, and many restaurants, supermarkets and banks.

New opportunities awaiting.
Placements: Placements are yet to happen and the companies who have applied for campus placement are good. It's just that some companies are paying really less in comparison to the degree and the expenditure we have gone through. Plus the college has a good name and such small package is very troubling. Some companies are hiring great package but the posting is Oman, Jordan etc. , which will be pain to stay in.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good. We have almost all the facilities available at NIFT centres. The campus is fully Wi-Fi accessible. Resource centre is a great source of information for anyone interested to learn or gain knowledge. Faculty members are really helpful all around.
Faculty: Course curriculum is changing with every passing year. With constant discussions the curriculum is offering students to develop new activities as their hobbies which will help them excel in future. For example- Photography is being added for B.FTech will can be an asset for students to pursue. They can utilise their skills at photography for freelancing and explore better options in various fields.
Other: Spectrum happens once in a year that is around February.

I am satisfied of the college because of the good atmosphere that always keeps me up!
Placements: NIFT provides centralised placement where each student who is eligible for placement will have to go to Delhi for the interview. For the placements 2017 major recruitments were done by retailer companies followed brand. Then other designers, design houses and export houses.
Infrastructure: NIFT Hyderabad campus sits between India's IT hub- Hi-tech city and state craft village Shilparamam; appropriately epitomizing one of its core motto, tradition meets modernity. With such close proximity to the IT industry and a vibrant city sphere the campus boasts of modern amenities while still closely rooted to its cultural diversity. The permanent building was build in 1999 and the main building is united for its architectural grandeur and versatility. The campus facilities provides an ideal environment for an all rounded learning.
Faculty: There are 7 departments : Department of fashion Design Department of textile Design Department of Knitwear Design Department of lifestyle design and accessories Department of Fashion Communication Department of fashion management studies Department of fashion technology The faculty here is highly knowledgeable and would love to help you.
Other: Other than ever going events there are 2 main events in the college for which everyone waits. The first being the converge were every NIFT centre gathers and have several competitions for sports and culture. Spectrum happens in the month of February each year. It is famous for the Fashion show which happens on the second day of the fest.

Other: The infrastructure is good. The faculty is experienced and of helping nature. The seniors are amazing. There are no issues of ragging or stuff like that. The anti-ragging squad keeps roaming in the campus to check if anything wrong is happening. The location is good. It is located in the high-tech city of Cyberabad which is the posh area of the city and has everything nearby.
