I am absolutely satisfied with this college.
Placements: Students have to register to take part in placement drives which use a centralised placement method. Companies visit our college to provide pre-placement offers or on-campus placement drives. Around 80% of students were placed in 2021. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Around 80% to 90% of students get job offers in our college. Internships are provided in our college.
Infrastructure: Labs and studios are well-equipped. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus. There is an auditorium with 350 seats, a spacious resource center, a college counsellor, a stationary, a gym, a cafeteria, and indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Canteen and mess serve 4 times delicious meals including breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members in our college are alumni from NIFT. They are very well qualified and experienced with a remarkable teaching techniques. The course curriculum provides knowledge about the topic and prepare students for the industry by methods like jury. Exams are conducted strictly and it has a fair grading criteria. Students should have minimum of 75% attendance in all subjects. The pass SGPA is 6.
Other: Students are provided with craft cluster visits to broaden their knowledge and improve skills. Student exchange programs like FIT, so that they can complete a semester in abroad universities. Major events are spectrum, converge, and other cultural events and programs are organised in our college.

Overall, it is a good college with good faculty, but hostels could get a little better.
Placements: Out of all the courses that we have, maximum placements are obtained by students studying in the Fashion Communication and Fashion Technology department. They are placed in brands like Arvind Mills, Aditya Birla Group, Louis Philippe, etc. Students get better internships outside.
Infrastructure: There are better hostels on other main campuses like Gandhinagar, Bangalore, and Delhi. The Hyderabad campus is also good. It's the third-largest campus of all. The mess facilities have been getting better over a period of time. Sports are also taken care of.
Faculty: The difficulty level is not that high. Faculty members are mostly good at considering the marks of students. We have a proper jury, where a panel of two internals and one external sits together to review our work. The average comes out to be quite good. Students work hard a lot, day and night, and they do get what they deserve.
Other: The best part about our college is that we have many college events, which enhance our opportunities for overall engagement and develop our personalities. Our college offers scholarships. There are many extracurricular activities and competitions. Modeling for instance is the other name of our fashion college.

Amazing Infrastructure and great academic balance with extra curriculars.
Placements: Mostly 30–40% of them got placed; companies like Shell, Cult Fit, Goldman Sachs, and most of the fashion houses like Gaurav Gupta, Mulmul, Reliance and ABFR also came. I feel they can do a lot better when it comes to packages, and being a design college, they should not bring packages less than INR 5 lac per year.
Infrastructure: It is actually amazing, considering all the IT buildings and urban environment around it make you feel so grounded and down to earth. Moreover, it has a modern touch—badminton court, basketball court, auditorium—and you have almost everything.
Faculty: Faculty members in FC are amazing, even for their co-curriculars; the externals are highly educated professionals. There are guest lectures given by industry experts and there are industry visits and crafts cluster projects by the government too. You get to travel to sub-urbs and villages to learn crafts.
Other: Fests, activities and other stuff will never make you feel home sick and the food according to price is really good—40–60 Rs. per thali—and decent food!

The college has really good infrastructure, faculty, and average placements.
Placements: Our college offers campus placements, and students also get PPO. Students doing graduation programmes get pre-placement offers as well. The campus offers placements for the positions of associate designer for B.Des students and production managers for B.FTech students.
Infrastructure: The campus is really good and spacious. We are provided with lots of activities and facilities, such as pool tables, table tennis, volleyball, basketball, etc. Our college has a good dance team for all the dance enthusiasts. The cultural team organises a lot of events and trips throughout the year for the students.
Faculty: The college has a tough but insightful exam system with a good curriculum. The faculty was instructive but helpful. There are juries that are conducted in order to evaluate your performance for the semester. The resource centre has many informative books, guides, and artefacts for the students.
Other: Our college has conducted a lot of fests and fashion shows for the students with international exchange programmes and good scholarships.

Good faculty, many amenities, well maintained hostels, classes and labs .
Placements: This years pass outs are currently working hard on their internships and last year projects. Some of them have already received the placements while some are still looking for them. In my batch, as far as I know, two people have received their placements from 60,000 - 120000 / month.
Infrastructure: The classes are well built and air conditioned. There are a few amenities for students to pass time during their break, for instance a pool table and a TT table. The labs are well maintained and have everything you could possibly need for assignments. The hostels are well maintained and are in a twin-sharing system. The Hyderabad campus also provides a guest house facility for parents to stay in when they drop their children to college. The cost for that is 900 rs per night. The washrooms can use more maintenance, but they're relatively better than most campuses.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified with most of them having at least 14 years of experience in teaching at nift. The teaching quality is better offline, as online is not that effective. The course curriculum is relevant and provides deepening specializations which makes the students industry ready. Usually during offline we have jury where a few judges and the student sit together and evaluate the work, however due to the current covid situation the jury assignments are online where we just need to submit pdfs for our works and are given grades accordingly.
Other: I chose knitwear design as it's relatively similar to fashion design and I would gain experience in working with different fabrics. There are many fest held in the campus when I was there for a few months. We had dandia night, bonfires, Diwali celebrations, craft bazaar and much more. The campus crowd is decent as people come from all types of places and states.

It has the best infrastructure and the best faculty members across India.
Placements: NIFT Hyderabad provides 100% placements. Top international and national brands come every year to recruit new people. The lowest and the highest amount of salary package depends on the work and your department, but still, you could find a good placement with connections.
Infrastructure: It has the best canteen across all NIFT campuses in Hyderabad. The library which is called the Resource Center is also top-notch in the Hyderabad campus. We have plenty of labs, and NIFT provides a good amount of resources. Every year NIFT organises an inter-college sports competition called converge which is very helpful for students.
Faculty: Faculty members in NIFT are interchangeable. It doesn't matter which city you are choosing to study in. Most of the faculty members are experienced, and departments are very helpful with students. NIFT has collaborated with a lot of artisans, and it helps a lot to the students who are from a not artistic background.
Other: If you are more in fashion then NIFT is a good college for design. Otherwise, NID and IIT could top the list.

Q:   Can I get admission in NIFT Hyderabad for B.Des with 60% in Class 12th?

A:

Greetings,

NIFT is totally unaffected by the percentage you score in class 12. You just got to have a passing certificate. All that matters, is your CMR that you’ll score in the entrance exam.Everything coming up your way, from your choices of the centres, your second counselling advantage, to your SPT, will more or less depend on your CMR.So, you need to score well in your entrance exam and stop worrying about your percentage in class 12 But you must have passed the 10+2 level examination or equivalent examination from a recognised Board of Secondary Education in India with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Thank you.
