NIFT Bhopal offers numerous undergraduate courses, including BDes Fashion Technology and BDes Textile Design. Applicants who want to get admitted to BDes must take the NIFT Entrance Exam and then attend NIFT Entrance Exam Counselling., in accordance with the NIFT Bhopal cutoff 2023. Similar to other NIFT campuses, the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme admissions process at NIFT Hyderabad is based on the NIFT Entrance Exam (GAT and CAT), which is followed by a situation test and personal interview. The number of candidates and overall performance on the entrance exam are among the variables that affect the selection criteria and cutoff scores for admission, which can change from year to year. There is no set minimum score needed to get admitted to NIFT. Instead, a candidate is chosen based on how well they fared on the entrance exam, in a scenario test, and in the personal interview. All these elements are taken into account while creating the final merit list.

The minimum scores needed for the B.Des programme at NIFT Hyderabad vary depending on your category and course preference. The Institute offers four years of full-time BFTech in Apparel Production. Lateral entry to this course is also available. Moreover, to be eligible for this course, the candidate must be a Class 12 pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or equivalent from a recognized board.

Eligibility criteria for admission to B.Ftech at National Institute of Fashion Technology Hyderabad:

• Passed the plus 2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of  examination from any recognised Central/State Board of  Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary  Education, New Delhi / Council for Indian School of Certificate  Examination, New Delhi with Physics and Mathematics.

Candidates applying for both B.F.Tech & B.Des will take an  entrance examination comprising of a General Ability Test (GAT)  and Creative Ability Test (CAT). For such candidates 2 separate  CMRs will be generated. One for B.Des Programme and one for  B.F.Tech Programme. 

B.F.Tech candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of General  Ability Test (GAT).

The written tests for the NIFT 2024 exam was held on February 5, 2024. The written tests comprised a General Ability Test (GAT) and a Creative Ability Test (CAT). GAT is mandatory for all candidates, but CAT is only required for B. Des and M. Des candidates. 

The GAT test will be considered in a computer-based mode, whereas the CAT will be offline based. Note that scores of the written exams will be used to shortlist candidates for a Situation Test/ Personal Interview.

NIFT 2025 cut off list will include details like the opening and closing ranks of candidates for each participating institute and category. Among the various categories for which the cut-off would be released include General, SC, ST, OBC-NCl, Domicile, and PwD categories. The candidate needs to consult the cut-off for their respective categories for the programme they are seeking admission to.

The opening rank is the highest rank for which the seat has been allocated. On the other hand, the closing rank is the minimum rank for which admission is allocated. Only such candidates who secure a rank equal to or higher than the closing rank will get admission.
