Q:   Are admissions at National Institute of Management and Research Studies (NIMR) entrance-based or merit-based?

A: 

NIMR Mumbai admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The selection for all courses except MBA is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. The institute considers Management entrance exam score for admission to MBA. Besides, candidates also need to fulfil the eligibility criteria to apply for admissions at NIMR.

Q:   Can I apply at NIMR Mumbai with 60% in Class 12?

A: 

The eligibility criteria for UG courses is Class 12. NIMR Mumbai has specified the minimum aggregate for each course. The aggregate required in Class 12 is 50%. Hence, aspirants with 60% aggregate in Class 12 can apply for any of the UG programmes at NIMR.
