    Q:   How can I get admission at NIST for MBA?

    A: 

    NIST MBA admission is entrance-based. Admission is provided to the applicants who have a valid score in one of the accepted entrance exams. These exams include OJEE, MAT, CAT and XAT. Aspirants must apply and appear for one of these exams. Additionally, they submit the NIST application form for MBA admission. 70% of the total seats are filled through OJEE counselling. 15% of the total seats are filled through other accepted exams. Shortlisted candidates must report at the NIST campus for document verification. After document verification, candidates must confirm their admission by submitting the specifed MBA fees.

    Q:   Do I need OJEE score to get into NIST for MBA?

    A: 

    NIST accepts MBA admissions through OJEE counselling. But OJEE is not the only entrance exam accepted for MBA admissions at the institute. 75% of the total MBA seats are filled through the OJEE counselling. 15% of the total seats are filled through other accepted exams, namely CAT, MAT and XAT. Hence, candidates without an OJEE score can still get admission to the institute's MBA programme, provided they have a valid exam score of any other accepted entrance exam.

    Our college has good infrastructure and faculty members.
    Placements: About 75% of the students from our course got placed until now. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are ICICI Bank and Byju's. Almost 100% internships are offered in all sectors. Roles like a manager, assistant manager, sales manager, HR manager, marketing executive, sales executive, analyst and operational manager are offered here.
    Infrastructure: There is a good Wi-Fi facility on our campus. Library facilities are good, and there is a separate library for every course. The canteen is good, which serves hygienic food with proper sanitation. Classrooms have good infrastructure and facilities. Labs are of good quality, and they have proper instruments.
    Faculty: Teachers here are quite friendly, helpful and also qualified. They are quite knowledgeable about their subject and also other subjects, and they help in every possible situation.     I am very satisfied with the teaching style of the faculty members and the infrastructure.
    Placements: Almost 100% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package of 12.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package of 2.56 LPA, and the lowest salary package of 4.56 LPA are offered in our college and in our course. The top companies are Wipro, Infosys, Jaro, Byju's, etc. Almost100% of the students got internships from our course in companies like Britannia, HAL, Nalco, Tech Mahendra, CocaCola, Business Standard, etc.
    Infrastructure: Classrooms provided to us are very good, and digital classrooms are also available. The Wi-Fi facility is also good. Our college never encourages bookish knowledge, so teachers always provide us with practical knowledge, so lab classes are very excited and helpful to us. There are 3 libraries in our college one for B.Tech students, and one is a central library, and one is especially for MBA students. So we have good library facilities.
    Faculty: Teachers are very much helpful, and they take care of the students. They are highly qualified, and many of them completed their PhDs, while many others are pursuing. Their teaching quality is also very good. Our course is curriculum relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready.
    Other: I like to interact with people and lead them. In our course, most of the time, students have to interact with people, motivate them and lead them, so I like to choose this course. The best thing in our course we will get to know how to manage people, handle every situation and work on it. In our course, if the practical work is high and students are provided more practical knowledge than the theory, then this course will be better. In our college, always various types of events are organised, and the fest is conducted 3-4 times a year. In our college, 6,000- 6,500 students study in a year, and there will be more than 1,700 faculty and staff members. The campus is lush green. The college provides scholarships in various ways to the scholar students. It always encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities like a start-up, robotics, singing, dancing, etc.

    Placements: About 57students got placed from our course. The salary package offered was 3.80 LPA. Top companies like Infosys and Wipro visited the campus for placements. Top roles offered is club membership, participate in pull competitions. The salary package offered in our course was 2 LPA. 57 students had completed a summer internship at National Insurance company ltd, Stock Market, Star Fing, Britania, HL, etc.
    Infrastructure: Studying environment of NIST is fabulous. Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, library are excellent. As per I am localities, food, medical, ambulance, dance and games are very well provided to us. Timebase management is perfect.
    Faculty: Faculty members teaching is according to practical aspects and easily understandable. Studying is one of the spiritual work sporty nature, and extra activities are also done here. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry. We also have industrial visits. Through games, they thought how to save time and go through the management.
    Other: As our surrounding has the best college know NIST the courses provided are the best we can expect. For MBA it is best than other colleges of our surrounding. They should provide extra practical knowledge. Events, fests are conducted, campus crowd and everything that can be enjoyable, and it has a loveable atmosphere of nature and beauty.

    The college provides excellent education and maintains discipline. I am satisfied with all teachers.
    Placements: Placements for our batch are started now. Only 3 students got placed until now. Now we are in the 3rd semester, so companies will visit soon for placements. Now the highest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. In our course, managerial, leadership and executive roles are offered. About 60 students are doing their internships in Big Bazaar, Reliance, Mercedes Benz, HAL, Britannia and many companies.
    Infrastructure: Classrooms are well designed with projector, air-conditioners, comfortable chairs and desks. Wi-Fi facility, communication lab and computer lab are available. Around 20,000 books and a digital library are available. In the hostel, the quality of food is very good, and there is a free space with a bed, study table and a shelf to keep books. The canteen is located near the hostel. All equipment for sports, yoga, gym, indoor games and outdoor sports are available for students.
    Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful, experienced and knowledgeable. They are B.Tech and also MBA graduates, and all are PhD holders. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students gain appropriate knowledge to overcome industry problems.
    Other: This course provides a good opportunity to increase my skills like personal, leadership and managerial skills so that I can manage the people. This course will be better if more practical things are added. Events like annual function and Waves are organised in college, where dance, music, acting, anchoring, sports activities are conducted. Many fests are also conducted here. The campus is lush green and disciplined. It is a ragging-free campus. Scholarships like economic hardship, booklets are provided to students.

    Placements: Almost 91% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 32,000-33,000, and the lowest salary offered was Rs.12,000-13,000. The top recruiting companies are UPS Logistics, S&P Global, Capital Via, OM IT Solutions, Kravy, Bhash Ltd and ICICI Bank. The top roles offered are HR, marketing executive and financial analyst. The highest salary package offered in our course is 3-4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5-18 LPA. Almost all the students got internships from college.
    Infrastructure: The campus has a beautiful green environment and free Wi-Fi facility. Good transportation and efficient OIS system are available. Sufficient hostel facilities are available, and hostels are like homely as they provide hygienic rooms, healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner.     Faculty: All the teachers are highly knowledgeable, qualified and also helpful. The course curriculum is relevant, and it provides practical as well as theory-based courses and also video. Digital classrooms are available, which highly helps the students in presentation curriculum.
    Other: I chose this course because I want to continue my higher studies. There is nothing to improve as all are well-organised. The college organises more than100 events in a year. There are many scholarships for students like national scholarships, economic backwards, E-Medhabruti and many other 12 types of scholarships.

    The infrastructure is very good. This is the best private college in Berhampur among others.
    Placements: For marketing students, placement chances are more. HR and finance students also get placements. The college conducts campus drives. Around 60%-70% of the students got placed from our senior batch, and around 70% of the students got placed from our batch. The packages offered range from 1.8 LPA to 3-4 LPA. Roles offered are client acquisition manager, relationship manager etc. There is a placement cell in our college.
    Infrastructure: The college provides a lot of facilities for students. Classrooms are under CCTV surveillance. Every department has a library. All the sports facilities like basketball, cricket, badminton and tennis are conducted. Quality of food is not bad.
    Faculty: All the faculty members are very helpful and talented. They are always available for their students. The duration of a class is 100 minutes, and some classes are held at 7 am and 7 pm. B.Com, M.Sc, B.Tech, MBA and MCA are the courses provided in our college.

    A: 

    The OJEE exam registration deadline is March 22, 2024, with registrations opening on January 25, 2024. The OJEE application form was previously due on March 15, 2024. OJEE 2024 will take place in computer-based test style from May 6, 2024 to May 10, 2024. The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination, or OJEE, is a state-level entrance exam that OJEE Cell administers to candidates seeking admission to graduate and post-graduate programs. Several public and private management institutes in the state of Odisha are offered admittance. Every year, a computer-based OJEE exam is conducted (CBT). The exam was previously administered using a paper-based test format (PBT). OJEE is held to grant admission to courses like MCA, PGDM, and MBA.

    Q:   What are the eligibility criteria for MBA admission at NIST?

    A: 

    NIST MBA admission is provided to the applicants who have a valid exam score and are eligible as per the NIST MBA eligibility criteria. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree of a minimum of three-year duration, from any recognised university or institution. Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination. The minimum marks required in case of reserved category candidates is 45%.
