My Review for the NIST University.

Placements: The college placement scenario is the worst. Very few companies come for recruitment with very low packages. The students of the state only get the scholarship, whereas some studentss get the scholarship based on their rank in JEE Main. The average salary is 4.2 LPA.

Faculty members are good in our college and there are lots of facilities provided to us.

Placements: About 93% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 21 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3.4 LPA. Wipro, Infosys, and many other companies visit our college but many core companies like Western Digital are top companies that recruit students for our course. Not many students got internships from our course but some students got them.

It is a balanced college for an average student.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite decent where you will get a chance to sit for multiple IT companies. Sometimes a few dedicated faculty members will get some core companies for placement, and if you are lucky you can get placed in them. But you have to do hard work for getting a good placement.

It has good infrastructure and good quality staff members. It is the best college in south Odisha.

Placements: About 75% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course is 21 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Infosys, IBM, etc., visit our campus for placements. About 60% of the students from our course got an internship.

Our 2016 batch was the biggest batch of NIST.

Placements: About 25% of the students got placed in our branch, and the salary offered was ranging between Rs. 15,000 - Rs. 18,000 per month, including stay and food by the company. MEIL hired 26 students. The role isn't mentioned as now, but they will as trainees. Two students from other branches achieved the highest salary package of 16 LPA.

If you are searching for a good private engineering college, you can go for NIST.

Placements: Placements are all about luck and depends on your communication skills. In our college, most of the students of CS, IT and ECE branches were placed, but for the core branch, it is not easy to get placed. Salary packages offered here are ranging in between 1.8 LPA to 7-8 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 3 LPA. Some of the companies that mainly visit our campus for recruitment are Infosys, Wipro, Cape Electrical, etc.

I am dissatisfied with our college because of its excess rules and regulations and some teachers.

Placements: Only 30% of the students from our course got placed. The salary package offered was 4 LPA. Infosys and Tech Systems are the top recruiters for our course. The top role offered in our course is a software engineer. The highest salary package offered in our course is 4 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA. If you are not selected in any other college, and you have a low budget for engineering, go for it.

Placements: Almost 30-35% of the students got placements. The mass recruiter is Infosys. The salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Almost 105 students out of 900 got placements. The highest salary package offered is 18.7 LPA, and it was offered to two students from ECE branch. The core companies (private) provide very less salary package, and also they want a bond of 3 years with students which is not a great deal for you.

Placements: If someone tells me to rate placement over here, I will rate 2.5 out of 5. Everything depends upon batches and placement department. Every year its keep on changing. Managements are the people who are only responsible for this. You can rely on the placement department and need to work smart to get through college placements.

I suggest you not to take admissions in this college.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. It is the worst college in the world. The college doesn't show any mercy on students in any condition, like academic fees, penalty etc.

Placements: Placements were good earlier, but from the last 2 years, the placement rate has been decreased a lot. I would suggest not to waste your money by taking admissions at this college. Infosys and Wipro visited our college for placements drive on the day one. Out of 1000 students in a batch, only 150 to 200 students got placed.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the management, faculty, placement cell. The infrastructure is good.

Placements: The placements of our college are not good. All the companies having low standards visit the college to conduct placements. The salary packages offered by the company was very low. The college doesn't even inform you about the off-campus drives. The students of our senior batch also faced the same problem.

A perfect place for the dreamers.

Placements: Placement possibilities is not up to the mark right now for our college. Seeing the 2017 placement ratio, I don't think 2018 will be fortunate for us. Among Our senior batch students most probably 80-100 students got placed in campus selection out of 800, so our chances seem to be very low now al.

Opportunity for every engineering student.

Placements: The placements of our senior batch are not high in number as compared to the earlier placements. The percentage can be said as 30%. The companies offering placements are taking less number of students. The companies like Wipro and Infosys are also taking less number of students, and this number lies between 20 to 30, which is very disappointing. Hoping for an increase in the number of students getting placed from our batch.

Good College for those who love their study. But 100 min classes and no recreation takes out of lot.

Placements: Placement is one of the best under BPUT specially when compared to others competing colleges like Kalam, Roland and Vignan. EEE gets the most placement along with CAC. Last year the placements were 92%. The college has a placement cell which works quite efficiently.

Placements: For my batch placements were good. Out of 800, almost 450 people placed. The highest salery was 10 lac and the lowest was 1.2 lac. Almost 12-15 companies visited to compus. They provided some 8-10 pooled camps drives also. Placement cell is present. But the persons were not good.
